Associated Supermarkets

This place has gone downhill very quickly. When it opened it was fully stocked, sales banners were in the windows, sales clearly marked on the shelves, and the staff members were very friendly. Now, the shelves are half empty, no sales banners are in the windows, no sales signs are on any of the shelves, and the staff, when you can find them, are totally untrained, sarcastic, and obnoxious. Also, you have to watch every signal item being put through the scanner when you checkout because they try to double charge all of the time. All of the prices are way higher than Foodtown or Met Food. They have stopped issuing weekly sales papers. In fact, if you go on the Associated Supermarket website this particular store is no longer listed. Interesting. Avoid this store at all costs!!!

BEWARE!!! This place sells rotting meat & all the girls that work here are always on their period.

Staff, rude; sarcastic; unprofessional. Atrocious, customer service. Deli clerk refused to service customer following failure to adequately prepare customer’s order as requested. Staff, misled customer in pursuit of management. Alternative observations include, poor & unsanitary food preparation & storage procedures.

In a pinch, it’s an ok place and the only one open 24 hours in the area. They have some good sales here and there.
Honestly thought it WAS much nicer and cleaner before when it used to be Pioneer Supermarket.

God awful place. Spoiled meats and the management is heartless. I will NEVER shop there again. Bay Ridge doesn’t deserve a grocery that sells spoiled food!!! We work hard and spend mad money on rent… we deserve the best!!!
