This deli is absolutely horrible. The last 2 times I’ve gone there I’ve had a bad experience. The first time they screwed up my sandwich completely, and now again I went to pick up my breakfast and they «lost» my order. How does that even happen? Then I waited for it to be re-​made to realize I was charged almost 5 dollars for 1 egg white and a half of slice of cheese on hard toast. Never going back. L

Hero Factory Deli & Catering is the superhero of deli’s! Located conveniently across the street from Southside Hospital (for all you healthcare workers, visitors, and patients,) I was blown away by this unassuming little sandwich shop.
There was good company– The lady who rang us up was cheery and friendly– and laughed when we asked where the tip jar was.
The sandwiches had punchy names– the Ferrari, John Deere, and the one I couldn’t resist: the Big A** Sandwich– fried chicken, onion rings, cheese, bacon (and I swear,) pure magic. They were HUGE and lasted me two lunches (tasting just as tasty (although less crunchy) the next day.) For $ 8 it was well worth it.
They also sell gyros and paninis– which also looked like winners. I’m looking forward to my next visit around this area, just so I could get another Hero Factory Sandwich!

Excellent service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles. They have many options and some pretty cool paninis and signature sadwiches. I am enjoying my sandwich as I write this. Very tasty and are very fresh. It’s a nice spot and I plan on returning. They were advertising catering as well, I think I will try them out for my next event.

Tried this place today for an improptu lunch with my boyfriend. For the most part, this is your standard deli with posted hero’s, wraps and sandwiches. There was only one table however in the whole place to sit at, and it had a sign which said «catering consultation seating».
We ordered a panini off their menu and a wrap with chicken salad and bacon, 2 small snack size bag of chips and two normal size bottles of water. The total for this order was $ 25. This seemed steep to me, but I was hopeful the sandwiches would warrant the prices. The wrap was made with ONE slice of bacon on it and was smaller than average (really…1 slice?!). The panini was much smaller than paninis we’ve ordered elsewhere and had small amounts of meat and cheese, definitely not warranting such a high price.
Overall, this was an average deli with below average food and above average prices. Although the employees were pleasant, I wouldn’t return.

So so so good. the owners and staff are always so nice and never rush you out to get to the next person. I have ordered salads that are always filling as well as their hot dishes. the chicken stuffed with feta and spinach was recommended to me and it was delicious! Definitely a good choice to grab a bite to eat.

Received great service from Doreen. Very pleasant, helpful, and understanding during difficult circumstances. Put together a catering order on short notice and made the process smooth and effortless. Reasonably priced and would highly recommend!

The paninis and flatbreads at this place are TO DIE FOR! Phenomenal food, great service and a really positive vibe to the whole place! The Balsamic portobello with some added sun dried tomatoes will literally change your life. If you haven’t tried it yet you’re missing out!

Tinge absolute nicest staff! Always asks me about my shift at the hospital when I walk in after a long night shift. Egg sandwiches are always amazing!

Many words can describe it but the one that comes to mind is «home». The owner Doreen is mom like. The staff are very friendly and the food is so good and plentiful you’ll need a nap after. All salads are made in house. Give it a try. This isn’t their first rodeo and the catering is well thought out so you don’t have to worry about anything. Did I mention they have a sandwich called «THE BIG ASS SANDWICH»? Stop in. Get something to eat and I know you’ll be back.

Very friendly owner and staff. The old owner gave this place a bad reputation. You must give it another shot. I’m working my way down the sandwich board. Everyone I’ve had was excellent! The salads are also freshly made wich you don’t get in most delis.

When i was in there I was told they were only open about a month. New owners, I jad been going to the old deli that was there but it had gone downhill. Well the new owner have made a big difference, Everythink was clean and all th food looked fresh.
My BLT was great. I work right down the road and i will be going back often.
