My review is for home depot in general. Although the staff here is very helpful and very sweet i will never spend another penny with this company again. We spent over $ 2500(we bougt a new house) in a week and when i tried to return $ 95 worth of merchandise for a store credit (i couldnt find 2 recipts) we were going to use right there and then I was denied. When I called the corporate office they told me they couldnt do anything and i would just have to take a loss. I will never shop here again. Lowes is way better any way. Better prices, better selection and way better customer service.

No help. No knowledge. Stock of items and signs are way too confusing and not in store. I just bought a vacuum and was very happy. Good parking lot. Watch out for your cars because the carts can be too close. I’m a monthly shopper when I’m out east. I used to reside in bay shore and this location is convenient. Use the self check out.

home depot is the best of its kind. Theres no comparison. Anything you need regarding building, remodeling, or installation is all right there. Ive been going there for many years already, and the service is great.

Thus far the worst Home Depot I’ve been ever. Cashier has absolutely no idea how to look up lumber without a tag when they had no problem doing it at other locations because obviously it’s in a data base. To do it he looked it up on line as a customer would. After 35 min of that I went over to the lumber and simply took a picture of a bar code so they can scan it, on top of that they move as slow as possible. Home Depot please hire brother associates, never seen anything like that. Obviously my last visit to this location

Your typical Home Depot. Things weren’t that hard to find, and prices were decent. Make sure you grab a cart outside, I don’t think they keep them inside. Staff was okay.

Home Depot in Bayshore is the worst home depot i have ever been to. i am a contractor and have been to every home depot in suffolk county and the store manager seems to go out of his way to not help you when ytou have a problem and the workers are just as rude i only wish i could give them a zero rating on Unilocal

There are always people to ask questions to– patient people! I had a large construction project this spring– as a newly single mom it was pretty tough and yet this store and the amazing staff got me through. Dave and the pro desk was particularly helpful, and so were the ladies in customer service (Kim? can’t remember her name!).
I was also impacted by hurricane sandy on my vacation home on fire island, and this store was so incredibly supportive with the free shipping.
At one point because it was convenient I went to a local rival. Could not find a single person to ask questions too. I left and went straight back to HD!

The Bay Shore location has got to be my personal favorite. Everything is where it should be and the staff is knowledgeable as well as helpful!
