My locate bakery. Great service, nice people, cute cookie selections. Pick up emoji, minion, & hello kitty cookies for my daughter’s school birthday party. Cookies are a bit sweet because of the coating but it soft & enjoyable. At a recent birthday, I was served a strawberry shortcake and it was very good, not too sweet, it was soft & fresh. Their donuts are fresh & good, it’s a must try.

Two words… Rainbow Cookies. It is hard to find a place that makes good Rainbow Cookies, but this place does. I’ve been hooked on the cookies since the mid 80’s, so I know a good Rainbow Cookie when I taste it. I mainly go there to get my cookie fix, but my mom loves their mini cheesecakes and biscotti. We both love the fruit tarts. This place is a Bayonne treasure.

Driest cupcakes ever. Cream cheese frosting was sour. Do yourself a favor and bake at home.

The best sprinkled butter cookies! The cannoli’s! Plenty of cakes, pies, doughnuts, cupcakes, brownies and Irish soda bread! It’s all outstanding. Love this place and the fact that the recipe never changes makes it so much better!

I hope this bakery NEVER goes out of business. They made me a sugar-​free birthday cake that was delicious! I’ll never forget it!

my go to bakery in bayonne. the spinkled donuts are amazing. candy choices are pretty diverse.

Omg! I was raised on these Sprinkled donuts and now that I live in California, I’m having withdrawal! Mmmm. Red jelly donuts with cinnamon sugar. Hey mom! I need a care package!!!

The decorations on the cupcakes are beyond magnificent but the taste is awful especially the minnie and mickey cupcakes the cookies in them are dry disgusting and the cake part isnt sweet its heavy thick and dense just the same as the other cupcakes I suppose its made with cake flour but they are really gross the prices are good though.

I’ve been a patron only a few years, so I can’t compare to those who’ve been going for generations. I’ve found the product pretty good, the meltaway cake excellent, donuts above average. Sprinkle cookies, which get raves, are so-​so; no real snap, really cakey and soft. They do move a ton of people in and out, there are plenty of young ladies behind the counter to keep the lines moving. Parking can be a bitch, but that’s Bayonne. I try to make a trip before heading down the shore, to bring so Judicke’s stuff to an ex-​pat, which is always greatly appreciated.

The baked goods are inconsistent. Asking if they are fresh is a waste of time and the counter staff are rude!

Long time established standing bakery with plenty of variety and maintaining freshness. Only tried two things but that was enough to say I’ll be back!

Unfortunately this bakery has always been hit or miss. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. I love their black and white cake when it’s fresh, but have gotten a dry one before even when told it was fresh.
Like another customer wrote, the customer service can be terrible. One day I arrived at the bakery a few minutes before they opened. I was working an early morning shift and wanted to pick up some cakes for work. I waved to the woman at the counter and she looked at me and ignored me. Okay, I get it you don’t open for another 10 minutes and probably wish people would read. However, from a customer service perspective wouldn’t you acknowledge the person. «Hi, sorry we don’t open for another 10 minutes». I’m trying to GIVE you money.

Doesn’t get any better than this in Bayonne. Love this place! The prices are fantastic and what you get tastes like your grandma’s recipe. My favorites are the danishes and donuts!

I’ve been going to this bakery for years and it’s always been good and fresh cake cookies pastries. But ever since the real owner sold it it hasn’t been the same the last 2 times I brought stuff from here to take to family house the cake was old that I couldn’t even cut it with the knife and the other stuff just tasted steal the redvelet had to be the nasty taste to it to the owner u shouldn’t sell cakes from 3 day after u make it

They have excellent baked goods at this bakery! I love coming here for the cannolis, fruit tarts, and chocolate glazed donuts with sprinkles. You can place orders for different kinds of cakes and they also make cupcakes. I love picking up a dozen cannolis from judickies and bringing them to my family for our get togethers. This place is definitely a favorite of mine :)

Everyone raves about the doughnuts — they aren’t my favorite but they are cute and they usually have sprinkles to match every occasion. They have good tricolor cookies and I’ve gotten a cake from them last minute and it was delicious.

I am so hurt and angry right now I can barely write this! The first infraction came about 2 weeks ago. My friend went in to get a few donuts when another person came in behind him. The woman behind the counter walked right past him and went to greet the next customer. My friend said «Um, excuse me… I was waiting here first» and she gave a very disingenuous, «Oh, sorry… didn’t see you there». He was standing right at the counter and had to look past him to speak to the customer behind him. But okay, maybe it was just an oversight.
Today however, I walk into the bakery where 2 staffers are helping 2 customers. I walked the length of the store to peruse my choices and ended up back near the entrance. One of the staffers finished with her customer. He left, and then she began walking towards me. I greeted her first… «Hello». Fairly loud because I was in a bubbly mood. Nothing. Okay, perhaps she didnt hear me. More direct and even friendlier this time this time. «Hello!». She glances in my direction and then initiates a loud, long conversation with the staffer who was now in the back kitchen. I stand there, looking at her, waiting patiently, I’d say for at least a minute. Not once does she bother to say «give me just a moment», or Ill be with you shortly” or apologizes. Nothing. Just completely ignores my existence as she stands right in front of me.
My first inclination was to say, EXCUSE ME! CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME?. But I quickly think to myself, Is this not a customer based business? Is it not their job to acknowledge that a customer is in here to buy their goods?! This woman stood right in front of me, ignored my presence, and then proceeded to have a conversation that was totally unnecessary. But instead of addressing it, I turned around and walked right back out. She stopped talking and went silent by the time I hit the door fully aware of what had just transpired.
I cant imagine for the life of me why she was so dismissive, especially when I walked in so polite and friendly and ready to buy half their offerings to curb my craving. I’d like to think it’s not because Im black. But the fact that she treated my friend so poorly too for no reason (also black), leads me to believe we’re not very welcome here. This place will never see a penny of my money and I would encourage anyone not to visit as well if you care about businesses valuing their customers.

Delicious assortment of pastries, sprinkle cookies, cakes, & breads. I have been here several times, to pick up a special dessert when going to someone’s home, to get cupcakes or cookies for my kids, or just to pick up something nice for the girls in my office.
Each time I have been pleased with the freshness, variety, and taste of whatever I ended up going home with (which is always more than what I initially came in for!). The girls at the counter are friendly & courteous & will answer your questions about any of the items displayed. Prices are reasonable given that this is a REAL bakery, with everything made on site.
Go there, go hungry, and don’t be on a diet when you do!

I haven’t been there for quite sometime. The apple turnovers were good. My boyfriend liked the
Sprinkled doughnut and the jelly doughnut but I was so surprised at how small the doughnuts have gotten. It’s not the same quality as days gone by

Judickie’s is an eastern European bakery that has been in business since the 1920s. They have very good sweets like doughnuts, cookies, and slices of flavored custard cakes, and so on. While these baked goods are pretty good, their turnovers are where its at: Pineapple, Lemon, Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, Cherry (listed in order of just good to excellent).
They make cakes for all occasions and have plenty of cartoon shaped goodies for the kids as well!
