Planet Wings

Planet wings did a great deal of work on my burger. I did a lot of request for it and if they do it bad, they will know who’s their enemy is so its a good thing they didnt mess things up.
Burger was perfect, also had the curly fries at the side. Although the burger wasnt that good, it had bigger veggie, the patty was like so small you can hardly taste it after a bite.

I placed an order for delivery at 8:17 pm, and was told it would take 30 – 40 minutes for delivery. At 9:17 pm, I called to see where my food was, the girl who works there said it’s on its way. It’s now 9:25, and the food still has not been delivered! I called and cancelled. RIDICULOUS!

I’ve honestly never tasted worse wings in my life. I hate to say it because I convinced my brother to buy from this place, but I could make better wings at home. I do not even know how to describe the taste of the wings. Just terrible.

That woman in the front was simply horrendous. She never even greeted me. Once I had to make my presence known, she didn’t care to inform how long it would take to make my food or even the total amount. She was too focused on the delivery driver, laughing at his horrible jokes. My first and last time at this place. Customer service is unreal. But I must say that the beef gyro is really good but those wings are way too small. 1 star for the gyro

I ate at this place twice the first time it was alright. The second time I ordered from here some of the wings were still raw in the middle I will probably never eat here again

The food was great as always but the 2 stars is for delivery. Never in my life have i had such a lazy and grumpy delivery person. Seemed like he was being held at gunpoint to work. Didn’t even want to come into the building and ring my bell. NOT COOL planet wings. .not cool at all

The food taste like it’s been heated with a light bulb, the fries are soggy & the people are unprofessional. I called them back to see if they can call the delivery man because he forgot my sauce, I was told I had to speak to a manager & was put on hold until I finally hung up. Highly Unrecommended.

Their homemade gyro sauce is on point, also ordered their chicken quesadilla it had that homemade salsa that was delicious.

Tried Planet Wings for the first time the other day and was happy with my order, some naked wings and a Gyro, nothing special about the wings but the Gyro was very tasty, with fresh diced tomato, onion, and lettuce with a nice what seemed to be a homemade tzatziki. The meat was typical, shaved and plentiful, and the pita was soft with flavor… I’ll go back for it and prolly try some other items…

I love this place. Not only are their wings great, but their other food is delicious too. Try their bone-​in wings with the leapin’ lizard sauce… my mouth is watering just thinking about it! I would also recommend their gyros and cheesesteaks. Keep this place in mind when hosting your next Sunday Funday!

I’m honestly surprised by the bad reviews. My girlfriend and I ordered from there for the first time a couple weeks ago and ordered three more times since. Delivery was fast each time. Wings were a decent size. I ordered the Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak, which I find myself craving. She ordered a regular cheesesteak. Prices seemed reasonable, too. The other two wings places in Bayonne charge a delivery fee, so them not having one is a big plus. Will definitely continue to order from here.

Small wings, bad delivery service. Not sure why I’m giving 2 stars. Personally, I’ll drive the extra few miles and go to Cluck-​U in Jersey City. Those are wings!

This place has a huge variety and fast delivery. I don’t like the $ 15 minimum but usually just order lunch and dinner to satisfy the minimum. Food is pretty good and flavorful.

One of the few places that delivers something other than pizza in Bayonne. Everything we’ve ordered has been decent enough to order again. Sandwiches, tex mex, wings, and chicken fingers aren’t bad. They take about 45 minutes to deliver, which is average.
I find the reviews below to be a bit melodramatic. It’s your average takeout joint… (though, according to the menu, the wings are organic! To be fair to the other reviewers, they are a bit on the small side, but they also have plenty of sauce.)

Not good.
Everything was cold. The bread for my sandwich was soft and flavorless. It should have been toasted, just cold airy bread. The sandwich was stuffed full of lettuce with only a little bit of chicken in it. The boneless wings were cold and dry and just didn’t taste good. Again, seasoned curly fries. Bland and cold.
Too expensive for the quality of the food. Go to the grocery store and get yourself some frozen chicken and cook it yourself. Don’t waste the money here.

Called ahead for pick up. Was told over the phone it would be ready for pick up in twenty to thirty minutes. Arrived on time but now I am standing here another 30 minutes so far and I am still waiting!!! Seriously mismanaged and understaffed.

The place is kept very clean and neat which is a plus. This is my 2^nd time here… the first time I had a salad and this time, I tried the quesadilla. So I went tonight at 9:30pm with my family. There was no one in the restaurant, we thought they were closing but they close at 10:30pm. The young lady who took our order wasn’t very pleasant, felt as it she was rushing us.
Food: My sons order Philly Cheesesteak… They hated it… It was more like crushed up steak with bread. My hubby & I had chicken quesadilla and it was HORRIBLE! Like for real… just HORRIBLE. They were so greasy… I could see the grease on my fingers. It was the worst I’ve ever had… even the french fries were extremely oily. We threw out food away after a few bits… just a waste of money. Driving home, I could smell the oil they use to fry the fries and it did not smell good.
This will be our last time going there…
It’s a wing place and they need to stick to that… WINGS.

We ordered from this place when they first opened and it was definitely hit or miss; employees were young and didn’t seem to care about doing their jobs, order was packed wrong, food took longer than we were told and so on. After some months passed, though, they’ve leveled out and we order from them a few times a month — much improved!
We usually get the same thing — hot wings for me and garlic wings for him. We’ve tried some of the others — the jamaican, cajun, chipotle, etc but like the aforementioned the best as they seem the most reliable. On the usual weeknight, we’ll wait about 15 minutes for a takeout order and everything is still hot by the time we get home. Can’t speak to the other items, but the wings are good — worth a visit but probably better for takeout if you live in town.

I got to try a few things on the Planet Wings menu when I checked this place out with my husband and sister. We ordered wings, the chicken quesadilla, a cheesesteak, and both curly fries and smiley fries. We shared evertyhing so we could all sample multiple items.
For «fast food», everything tasted fresh and yummy. I’m glad that they have a good variety of items on the menu and their cookies make for a great dessert. I live in Jersey City, but I’m sure I’ll be stopping by this place whenever I’m in Bayonne, and maybe even make a trip to Bayonne when I need a wings/​cheesesteak fix. ;)

So not a fan of the typical fried chicken spots because I’m left with what appears to be hi-​gloss lip balm when in fact it is grease :/​And to be honest I was afraid to have the wings because I didn’t want to don the hi-​gloss shade on my lips that day, so instead I opted for the chicken double decker taco supreme and have to say, Move ova’ Taco Bell! Well seasoned, soft and country at the same time. My hubby had the roasted garlic and leaping lizard bbq wings and THIS non-​wing lover loved them (maybe a lil too much for my hubby’s taste!)! Now I have a new place for take out when visiting my abuelita!
I was also pleasantly surprised with the welcoming staff and I say that to say that upon first impression, the counter personnel seemed a bit young but were professional and very nice:)
Ok and lastly, the cleanliness was very obvious. I am usually reluctant to use the facilities at fast food establishments and enter at my own risk type of attitude, but that was not the case here:)
