Shell Gas Station

I wish there were negative star ratings on this site just to rate places like this Shell Gas Station at 640 Avenue E, Bayonne, NJ. While the gas prices are higher than the competitive prices in the area, the service is absolutely HORRIBLE!
One would think that drivers who pull up to a gas station at 7:30am on a weekday morning would be a little pressed for time as they are going to work — but not this place! They couldn’t care less about how long you wait for the gas attendant to come back from the bathroom while the other attendant just mulls around because you don’t happen to be pulled up to the pumps he’s assigned to.
No Manager on site and the people working in the mini-​mart couldn’t care less either: «You have to wait» is all you’re relegated to if they are not available to tend to the customer.
Advice to the «Ghost Manager» or the «Absent Franchise Owner» of this place: please ensure that all gas bays are tended to at all times by ensuring that the attendants cover each other when they need to step away. And teach your employees about the positive impact of good customer service.
This place is the pits and today was my last trip ever to your gas station.

Stopped in here to get gas & pick up a quart of milk for the morning. Gas was fine but the register inside wasn’t working so the cashier was on the phone with someone apparently trying to get the register back up. In the meantime the line is getting longer & no one can check out. I eventually walked out without buying anything & without the cashier ever apologizing or saying anything at all to me or any of the other customers. What a dismal way to run a business.
