Way above & beyond the neighborhood deli it appears to be from out front. Found via Unilocal and the reviews can’t do it justice. First visit I tried the pulled pork egg roll. Awesome treat! Actually, allot more than just a treat. This is the stuff that belongs on one of the specialty food TV shows. Thanks in the biggest way to the other Unilocalers who’s reviews got me here. Got a glimpse of the burgers being enjoyed by others and those looked exceptional too. The food in the showcase, the cleanliness of the entire place, the extremely nice service and comfortable atmosphere were all top shelf! I will be back!

I do believe I written a review about this spot before. I don’t know what happened to it… Anyway, I live within walking distance from this Deli. I lived in the area now for almost 2 years. I’ve only stopped in this spot maybe 10x over the 2 years. My girl and I have ordered several different things. I had 3 – 4 different burgers. The main issue I’ve had with their burgers is it lacked flavor. Also, each time I ordered a burger they ask how I’d like it cooked. I’ve always told them medium-rare or medium. They always give it to me… freaking well done or over done. Tried their fries, Jumping Giraffe, Bella Bun, Garden Bun, jalapeño poppers and a few other sandwiches… I was not crazy about the jumping giraffe. Nothing special with that. My girl and I both enjoyed their vegetarian sandwiches the bella bun and garden bun. The jalapeño poppers were pretty good too. Their fries were ok at best. I’d like to try a few more sandwiches and hope they are better than what I’ve had. I’ve not given up on this spot. I think its because its so close to me. I really wanna like it more but their food just hasn’t gotten there for me yet. I’ll do another update once I tried a few more thing.

Sick and tired of eating a boring Subways sandwich? How about try Constatines Deli which offers fresh bread and a wide selection of different sandwiches whether you want something that is on the healthier side or go straight to the deep fried chicken cutlets and bacon. I was craving a sandwich and happened to come across this hidden treasure. This deli is located in an unexpected location and they have a nice selection of sandwiches as well as burgers. I ordered the Whitestone on a hero which contained fried chicken cutlet, cheese, and fried eggplant. The price comes out to be around 10 for the hero and it is pretty big. The bread for my sandwich was huge and while it does taste fresh, the bread to meat/veggie ratio was completely off. None the less, I still enjoyed my sandwich and I will return to try out some other recommended sandwiches.

They were so DELICIOUS fresh and well done! I am so impressed and love the overall feel of the place. The guy(wish we got his name) was so kind to us and even made small talk with us. We will definitely go back here often there is parking right up front.

Only been here a couple of times, but I usually order the same thing just because it’s so damn good lol. I get the cowboy burger cooked to medium with a side of onion rings(or you can get waffle fries. Regular fries, etc).

A neighborhood deli. Classic sandwiches and burgers. But with a variety of ways to customize your meal. Try the lasagna waffle fries. It’s an awesome mix of guilty but hearty grub. Coffee is hot and fresh made just the way you want. No Starbucks pricing here. Their signature Big C sandwich is huge! I ordered it on a garlic bread hero. Could only eat half. The spicy kick of the hot sauce ties it all together. Awesome. I’m going to come back and try the mac and cheese. It looks amazing.

Best breakfast sandwiches ever! The staff is extremely kind and attentive. Especially the manager, he’s super great! I come here at least twice a week because I don’t live close.

I really don’t understand what the hype is all about. They said the best local food. best burger, best wings and what not. I tried a couple of different burgers, wings and their supposedly the«BEST» lasagna fries. They were not horrible but mediocre. Definitely Not the greatest I’ve tasted. But what turned me off about this place was the service! especially the young girl that took my order at the front table. She was rude, plain rude. had a bad attitude problem and after I finished ordering, I actually regretted ordering for the fact that I was receiving such nasty service. I still had high hopes In the food but then it turned out to be somewhat ordinary. Just not superior as they advertised and what the people said here on Unilocal. What a disappointment… I’ll pass next time…:(

Placed an order through eatstreet, and it took about an hr and a half for my food to arrive??? Not going to lie, their food is delicious. Just wish they would deliver it before it gets cold.(chicken cutlet was cold, buffalo chicken, the bread was stiff hard). Minimum for delivery is $ 20, delivery fee is $ 2, and then they ask to tip the driver??? oh and they charge you for lettuce tomato onion cheese etc(50cents ea). If I’m around the area, will place an order for pick up, other than that I probably will not order delivery from here again.

I really wanted a bowl of hot soup. I got there and Mike was at the grill. I told him that a few weeks ago I went there expecting to have his homemade/home-smoked pastrami and I was disappointed that neither he nor his pastrami were there… on that day. Today was a different day: Like a Colorado Medical Marijuana Dealer proud of his highest grade koosh… Mike said«I have it.» Fist Bump — S L O W E X P L O D E ! I asked for a test taste slice… and he obliged. It was STELLAR. Perfectly pink inside… Charred smoky brine on the outside. The Sandwich: Seeded semolina hero, pull out the excess dough, please. Light mustard on the bottom(only). Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Cole Slaw and a drizzle of Mike’s Homemade Russian Dressing. Heaven on bread. End of story.

Im unsure which number visit this is between me and G, but the sandwiches etc still rock. Today it was the steak it easy on a seeded hoagie roll, cheese steak, mixture of caramelized peppers and onions and cheese. G said it was awesome and it looked and smelled like awesomeness. I just had a turkey with tomato on toast with mayo. Yes it sounds plain and it was pretty unexciting by most standards, but there was alot of turkey and tomato and it was just what my taste buds were looking to get. I was not craving over the top today. This place has an extensive deli selection and every drink you could possibly want. I don’t know of any deli that has the variety of diet sodas like this place. Diet cherry coke anywhere else… unheard of. G picked up a piece of pound cake to go. Later aka evening snack time, it was consumed with milk and a smile. Bring a healthy appetite when you come here. Although we did not get the lasagna fries this time, we usually do and they are so good. We did use the Unilocal offer of buy a sandwich get one 50% off.

Went here before with a friend so i thought«hey why not try delivery.» The woman who took my order placed me on hold for a while, that’s fine it’s lunch time. She was very unapologetic after the long wait, that’s cool I just want to order my food. After placing the order I asked for my total, she said she’d call me back… but never did. After an hour of waiting I called to see what the status was, she said it was out and hung up. After an hour and 15mins called again, before she tried to hang up I asked for my total and was told it should be there soon. It is now going onto 1 hour and 40mins… I hope my food isn’t cold… Will never order from here again. all I ordered was a burger and some wings… very disappointed and HANGRY… I’ll update with food pics/thoughts. Will NEVERORDERFROMHEREAGAIN! They called and redelivered the food. It was good, next time I won’t call during peak hours. Thank you for the food!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, they should have 5 stars, but I just can’t do that. When it comes to burgers, I’m no connoisseur, but the burgers here are in my opinion, the best in queens. Whenever I eat a burger anywhere else, I hold it to the standards Constantine ‘s has set. But, Constantine ’ s most appalling flaw cannot be overlooked: they’re erratic hours of operation. On for the past two Sundays, I haven’t been able to order from here due to the establishment being closed for no justifiable reason. Despite the hours of operation being listed as open til 4pm(Which is ridiculous in that of itself), it is actually only open from 12pm to 1pm. 1 hour of business? That’s just a cock slap in the face to their customers.

I’ll start by saying the three stars are for the food… I’d maybe even go 3 and a half bc I have been there and had a good egg sandwich. Today I ordered a wrap(I had no clue if they had wraps because I didn’t see it on the menu or in the store though I may have missed it) with roast beef, cheese, BLT… $ 11.95!!! After waiting to pay while the cashier slowly evened out the cash registers and I the only customer just waited there cash in hand trying to get out in a rush, she said 11.95 I almost wanted to refuse it but I ordered it(with seeing any pricing for wraps on the menu) so I should pay for it. I figured okay maybe it comes with a side salad, pickle something… NOPE. Just a relatively thin wrap. The bacon wasn’t warmed or anything. It just was very plain and not even bulky… not a $ 12 wrap A minute or two later my grind in Manhattan called while he was getting lunch. I told him what I got and how much, he laughed and Said lets see how much one is here(financial district ps). His was $ 8 after tax with prosciutto added… Something is wrong with this picture. A lot of Commenters said prices were too high so I don’t feel as bad saying it. I think the place is good but be prepared to over pay.

Came here to eat after seeing the buy one get one 50% off deal. We asked the staff if the deal works on burgers and she said yes, but when we went to pay, another person said its for sandwich only. They ended up giving us the deal anyway… We got the dragon sandwich, which was okay(not as good as the burger). The baysider burger was good, better than a lot of other places. It also came with a side(we got sweet potato fries) The meat was very tender, not frozen meat. Only complain is that the buns were too oily.

My Dragon sandwich is so heavenly! The spicy wings had perfect kick. This place is consistent. So glad Unilocal led me to this place. BTW, the cook was nice I will definitely going back to try tons of things on their menu. The shop is very clean. Unexpected from a small deli!

4.5 stars! I’m ASHAMED, so ashamed! I drive by Constantine Deli on a daily basis and never had once thought about going in. Actually I didn’t even notice they were there… What’s wrong with me? Could it be that I lost all hope and faith in other delis after experiencing some of the greatest in Queens? Sal, Kris, Charlie CHECK, Leo’s Latticini Mama’s CHECK, II Bambino CHECK, JoJu CHECK. Or perhaps I have lost my love for sandwiches in general? HATE that low carb diet! But whatever it is, TODAY I took a leap of faith and ventured into Constantine Deli. Constantine Deli, an all American deli that is popular/famous for its creative and delicious sandwiches, is located in Bayside. It’s on 48th ave between Clearview Expressway Service Road and 206th street– It’s very isolated and shouldn’t be hard to spot. Best way to get here is by car(right by the Clearview Expressway) but if you are really craving it, the Q27 and Q31 will get you here as well. Parking: Plenty of parking, I usually get a spot right in front of the place. Décor and Ambiance: It’s a deli, so no need to wear your tux or Louboutin in here. Flip flops and shorts welcome! It’s a good size deli, heck you don’t even have to walk far into the store to order. There are some seating in the back(around 20) and around 5 – 6 seating by the grill– in case you want to check out how they flip your burgers. It’s bright, clean and roomy, I don’t think you can expect anything more than that from a deli! Food: This is the most challenging part of it all, what to get, what to get? I was legit overwhelmed when I opened up their menu, there must be at least 30 – 40 different types of Hot/Cold sandwiches! And to make things worst, they all sounded delicious! But fear not, after getting a couple of friends to try out a couple of sandwiches, we narrowed down some of our favorites: The Whitestone(Sandwich) — This is my FAVORITEBYFAR! Chicken Cutlet with fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, lettuce, tomato and garlic herb mayo all sandwiched between 2 pieces of garlic bread! The chicken cutlet was soft, moist and flavorful. It doesn’t have too much breading and the chicken is huge! The eggplant was perfectly fried, still hot from the deep fryer, thinly sliced and well marinated. It doesn’t even taste like eggplant and it just melts in your mouth. The garlic herb mayo and the garlic bread were like icing on the cake; you can never go wrong with too much garlic, unless you are coming here with a date, you most DEFINITELY should give this one a shot! MUSTGET! TIP: Get the Dragon sauce here, they might charge you for it but it’s delicious!!! The Baysider(Burger) — If you like burgers, this is the one to get! What do you get when you put sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, bacon, swiss and chipotle bbq sauce together? Answer– A very happy foodie. Constantine Deli boasts themselves to have the best burger in Bayside and they back it up with some legit burger. The cooks definitely know what they are doing, they burgers are cooked to whatever temp you like– of course I like mine medium rare. The burger itself is just a flavor texture overload– soft flavorful mushrooms, roasty slightly sweet caramelized onion, crispy/crunchy bacon and smoky, spicy chipotle bbq sauce all sealed by soft creamy Swiss cheese… just thinking about it makes me hungry! Now I don’t know is that the best burger in Bayside or not but it’s definitely a darn good one! The Crazy Cubano(Paninis) — is just crazy; you will spend your first 3 minutes staring and marveling at the size of this thing. Why is this thing so big? This must weigh at least 1 – 2 lb easy. It is filled with pulled pork, grilled ham, pickles, garlic chipotle mayo and Swiss cheese. The pull pork was juicy and tender and so well marinated, the ham is smoky and not extremely salty, the garlic chipotle mayo is garlicky needless to say but it brings out the flavor of the ham/pork. Be careful biting into this thing cause it sure is juicy! And HOT! Ouch burnt my lips again!!! MUSTTRY! Serving time: Service is good and people are friendly here, wait time can be long depending on the time of the day. Call ahead to avoid the wait time! OH and come early cause sometimes they run out of chicken cutlet and then you’ll have to get the grill chicken cutlet– which ain’t as good in my opinion! Price– great! Around $ 10 for most sandwiches, they are not stingy with their ingredients here so $ 10 is well worth it for a sandwich! I can only finish ½ a sandwich most of the time. Overall: I got nothing but praise for Constantine Deli, food is constantly good, constantly fresh and constantly delicious! As a matter of fact, I came back 3 times after my initial visit. That included two visits within a one week period… that should tell you something about this place and my obsessive personality hah. Make sure to come with some friends so you can share and try all the different sandwiches they have here!

2 of my friends are the top 2 check-in’s for Constantine’s. So I was always curious if this place was that good or not. lol Or maybe it’s location was just convenient for them. Anyway, one morning after a nice workout at the gym, my friend and I drove here for breakfast. I just had a bacon, egg n cheese w. lettuce and tomato on a roll. If they fuck that easy sandwich up, I’m never going back again. Haha But their customer service was on point and the sandwich was tasty. So not bad. There’s a few tables inside, and there’s a sandwich menu, but the sandwich guy said, «If you want something that’s not on our menu, just say the name and we’ll make it.» Wide variety of bottled drinks available. Plenty of residential parking around there.

It’s a little pricey for a deli but it’s more than worth it! If I lived closer I would probably go here weekly till I got sick of it lol What we got: — New Yorker Hero with a fried runny egg — greasy and heavy just the way it’s suppose to be lol — Piglet II Hero — nice twist with the Asian slaw — Disco fries — a little soggy by the time we got home but still delicious, next time we’ll try the lasagna fries and eat in for maximum crispness lol — Pulled pork egg roll — yummy but a little too greasy, I couldn’t an entire one by myself. We paid $ 27(thank you Unilocal for the check in special!) and felt this was seriously enough to feed 4 people. My boyfriend and I had to eat this entire order in two sittings: D Other things to note: the manager in the glasses with graying hair is nice to the customers but a bit over bearing with his employees. The poor cashier was doing everything correctly and handling us just fine but the guy just kept harping on her! Let her do her job — she got this!
