JEI Learning Center Auburndale-Whitestone

My son started attending the Little Genius program when he was three and a half. I was amazed at how much he was learning. After 8 months we had to stop but he started attending Jei again this past summer (he is five and a half now). In school he is still practicing writing letters and numbers while at Jei he can do single digit addition and subtraction very quickly now. Last week he learned how to tell time! The program is exceptional but it definitely takes some commitment. I have recommended this program to many of my son’s friends.

My kids started at this JEI a month ago and I’ve seen major improvements in my daughter’s math and my son’s letter and number recognition. The director Ken Lo is very personable and understanding. My daughter have always had trouble understanding math problems but The workbooks helped her tackle the problems systematically. Her favorite part is the brain safari.

My son is five years old and attending the JEI learning center every Saturday in the discovery program. He loves going to the class on Saturdays, which was a surprise for me, because he does not like to be in a class especially weekends! JEI’s program comes with an age appropriate workbook to take home and parents do need to spend time everyday with the kid to complete the workbook (about 4 pages). William loves to do the workbook, because the teacher will make sure he understand the exercises, and he was able to auto-​pilot doing the workbook without much of my assistance. I just need to make sure he sits down everyday for 30 mins. I like the workbook at home to facilitate a good learning habit! The contents that are gone over in the Saturday class were also very hands-​on, rich and project based. They have discussed planets and solar systems, money systems and operating a grocery store buying with the money that they created, discussion about plays and stories, counting and measuring projects, also different art and craft projects. He has continued in this school for a year now, and I see the progress in him and will continue attending the school! two thumbs up!
