It sad that this place is long gone. I was hoping to visit this place. This place will be miss.

Sad to say that they have closed down! I feel like a part of my childhood is gone :(

I’ve been going here since I was a wee little kid. Same owner since I was 12. Always a blast to play at an arcade, this place rocks.

The few arcades left in NYC, that are worth it. DDR is what I come here for.

I really love this place! I mean seriously– I can count the number of arcades I know of on one hand! The space is small but there are plenty of games that fill it up! Everything from claw machines, to DDR to Skee Ball to Pac Man– they’ve got something for everyone. If you’re like me–(taking my little sister to Chuck E Cheese because I love playing games that spit out tickets) taking a trip out here is far less filled with sneezing, crying kids. Coming here with my husband also makes for a nice nostalgic date. I’ve only visited in times where it was not crowded(usually about an hour before they close) so I’m not sure what its like when its busy. But there is always a group of teenagers hanging out here. I saw a sign that said they do birthday parties– not sure how that works– but sounds cool. If you are a recreational arcader like me– due to the size of this space– an hour tops is how much time I can spend here. But if you’re like hardcore– uh yeah– do your thing.

I think this is officially the tiniest arcade in NYC(outta D&B, C-town Fair, and Smiles), but it doesn’t subtract from its entertainment value. Oddly enough, their machines accept a combination of bills, quarters, and TOKENS… kinda speechless, but ok! While there are games you can’t find here that are in other arcades, there are also games here that you can’t find at other arcades. There’s the Beat Mania, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Pop n’ Music, Terminator(seems pretty new), and etc. There are your default ones such as air hockey, Daytona racing, Pacman, shooting hoops(sadly just one hoop), and etc. *I must highlight the fact that their DDR machine is in great shape, and highly sensitive to your steps. This means you’ll combo longer and score higher. Finally, no stomping necessary!

I have to transfer on the subway to get to Flushing and then take a bus out to get to this arcade… but it’s worth it!!! As mentioned, it’s unfortunate that NYC has no real arcades. Chinatown Fair is dingy and specializes in fighting games while Dave and Busters is really for kids and the casual gamer. What I love about Peter Pan Games is that they have some fairly rare cabinets. Pop’n Music, Beatmania and Pump It Up used to be games I could only play at home. $ 20 will also last you a few hours if you’re not throwing them in to the new shooters. It’s too bad this place is teeny tiny and so far from the city. It really is a gem.

Great arcade that has some of the most up-to-date games around. Good for all ages as they have both ticket games and shooting games as well as some bowling and bball games that never get old. And they have several DDR games. That’s right, go and check out some of the crazy dancers or show off your own moves. These are usually packed with people. It gets crowded on weekends with some less than welcome characters, but the owner is very nice and doesn’t take a lot of crap, so he’ll help you out if there’s any problems. Great games and remember to save up tickets for those bigger prizes.
