They answered the phone Sal’s for a few months. Now they don’t answer the phone at all. Recent message from alleged owner claims remodeling for the next 6 months and it was always Pizzanetto. Something fishy here.

Great little find… Incredible pizza at a reasonable price. Unfortunately they were out of the garlic knots, so we’ll have to come back…

My husband told me to stop here one day when we were driving around and were hungry. We didn’t want to go to a sit down place, although, seating is available. We wanted something to go. I was pretty surprised with how nice this place was for a carry out pizza slice/whole pizza place. It was spacious, clean, and had many great choices. The pizza was huge and I think they give something in addition to the pizza(a roll or something??). Their pricing was really good too. The teen/young adult behind the counter was pleasant, which is always nice considering customer service in some places. While I haven’t gone back yet, this place is on the list to visit again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick bite and good pizza.

The food here is great but the service is extremely slow. I went in tonight and I expect Wednesday to be slow, but it was a half hour to get two Calzones to go. They’re delicious though, so big that we cut one in half for one meal and saved the other for another. This is my 4th time going there. They have a help wanted sign up and only have two people working there now. By what I’ve seen, 75 percent of their sales are pizzas sold locally with free delivery. There’s plenty of seating and a 50″ hdtv on the wall with cable. While I’m unsure if it applies here, It’s common for franchise owned businesses in this suburban area to only hire people who live in the same town. If that’s the case, it explains the lack of employees. There’s an age gap in Fox Point/Bayside. Those under 18 who would want to work part time often are too busy with sports and after school activities or their parents won’t allow them to work. Mid 20s crowd are in college and leave the area. The adult crowd likely has higher paying careers. This would be a great location for a motivated retiree with their own car to make deliveries.

Ordered via online. It was delivered in less than 30 minutes. The pizza was great. This will be our go to pizza place for now on.

This place does a great job with a variety of delicious pizzas and calzones. Favorite has to be either the garlic pepperoni or the stuffed sausage and pepp pie. Love the slice option at lunch and quick delivery is a plus! You will not be disappointed!

Super nice staff! Fun, colorful location! Love that they are here! Needs some tweaks. Expensive product skimps on the important stuff. Huge, heavy, «medium rare» cooked pieces – hard to eat by hand and no way to cut this pizza with a plastic knife and fork, yet that’s all offered. Even my 10 year-old went for the utensils. Cheapest paper paper plates. Spinach feta was overwhelmingly garlicky. Probably just inconsistent application of pesto. Not on par with Noodles, Qdoba, Jimmy Johns. YET. Will try again. I want Pizzanetto to succeed!

We’re new to town, but we love NYC style pizza. The employees treat us like family. Always glad to see us. The pizza is always delicious, no matter the ingredients. I think we’ve made it all the way through their pizza menu, and each one is a winner. This is our go-to joint, and we just love everyone there!

This place is owned by Sal’s in Cedarburg. I love their pizza. The employees are super nice. The slices are huge! Also, I have stomach problems and this place does not create attacks. Buy 2 slices get a garlic knot for free! I just cannot rave enough!

Best gluten free pizza I have had in Milwaukee! It had a great tasting, crispy crust! I also liked the sauce and cheese, very good quality.

Extremely good pizza, but I get full after the second slice everytime that I order here. So I think that they charge a little too much for a whole pizza when u get full really easy. The service is okay, considering the fact that it’s a pizza place. They take a little too long for pick up and the location of the restaurant is kind of odd. I guess I would recommend this place but I’m not very impressed.

Pretty dang good pizza! We ordered at 6:30 and was told by GrubHub that it would be at least 7:30 before it arrived. It was here at 7:10. The delivery guy met us with a smile and VERY hot pizza. It was decent pizza. Living in Glendale, sometimes it’s hard to get a good pizza delivery besides all the chain restaurants. We ordered the meat pizza and the spinach artichoke pizza. Both were huge. We would definitely get it again.

I have never written a review. We tried this pizza for the first time tonight and it was fantastic!!! My husband’s family lives in NJ and we love the pizza there. This tastes so very much like NY style pizza! We recently moved here from Chicago suburbs where we had many pizza options and we are so excited to have found Pizzanetto. And free delivery is another bonus. Well done!

Food around 3ish. Slices cold. Service: store level about 2. Service management level: ZERO. What follows are the comment I posted on Facebook. If you think my comments were out of line or, just a crazy customer. The reply’s really show you the attitude of this restaurant. Keep in mind there was a young couple in front of me and. they had been waiting over 10 minutes to be served. Normally not a problem. Hey I have no problem standing in line. I do have a problem with a paying customer being told off on line. It’s the response that gets me. If you don’t want to survive in this community. Doing very well. Facebook post: me: I’m so happy to see the now hiring sign in the window. We’ve been there a few times around noon and, after waiting around 4 minutes. We were not even acknowledged. As were the people in front of us. 2 people total. Under staffing is always a problem. Being in the QSR business for 27 years. First contact is the most important aspect. Even saying we’re swamped, would have been great. On a good note. Your pizza is excellent. We will be back. For the food. And only on off hours. PS. Great pizza even though I’m from Chicago and, never been to New York. Kinda leaning to New York. Pizzanetto: wow a whole 4 minutes, sounds like a long time to wait Steve, next time call ahead and we will bring the slice to your car, you don’t even have to pay. Sorry you waited an entire 4 minutes. OHHH. Sorry I wasn’t able to copy from my post. They are super fast on the internet. Deleted. Only after I was putting it on Unilocal. Screen shot available. I will try to also get it from the server. Love pizza. Theirs is good. You have to wonder, if the management can not deal with criticism. Even positive. Think how they treat the employees. I hate chain pizza places. If you want good pizza with good customer service go across the street to Toppers or order Rosatis. Or get a frozen one from Sendik’s. In closing: I have no problem with mediocre food or lines. I do have a problem with people taking my money and me being treated like dirt. This time they didn’t even take my money. Please avoid. research before you eat: Facebook account has been deleted. My problem was, when I contacted via Facebook. I assumed I was talking to a manager or owner, not the case. Second chance again a few weeks ago.. Same understaffed. The place was empty. I know why. Rude employees not trained, and cold food. If I have a 30 min lunch break. It shouldn’t take 15 just to order. Left and went to Mickey D’s.

Love it. This is the kind of Za we crave – NY style with dry, perfectly foldable crust. Affordable, too. We had cheese only – we like to try that first, to take an honest assessment – and it was right on. A welcome addition to our side of town.

I intended to place a simple delivery order for one large Veggie Netto pizza for the family. This proved difficult from the start due to «phone issues.» After being disconnected twice, I finally placed the order on the third attempt. Over one hour from placing the order, we still had no pizza. I placed my fourth call. The manager answered and told us they had written down our order, but it still hadn’t been made and was actually marked for pickup even though they took down our credit card and address. Easy fix, right? Wrong! The manager said we could place the order now but we would still be placed at the end of the line and said it would be another hour for delivery. I told him to cancel the order and picked up pizza from another establishment within 15 minutes. Toward the end of our meal, the doorbell rang and to our surprise it was the Pizza Netto deliver guy with our pizza. I told him that we spoke to the manager and cancelled the order, but he said to take the pizza and they would comp the pie. I opened up my credit card statement one day later and saw the charge had not been reversed. I called Pizza Netto a fifth time and was connected with the owner. From the start of the conversation, he was very hostile and defensive. By the end of our chat, he was screaming telling me to «come into the restaurant right now and explain the situation to him face to face in order to get it reversed.» Needless to say, I did not feel comfortable meeting him in person and am still out the $ 25+ for an overpriced pizza that I cancelled. Moral of the story: HORRID customer service! Please steer clear if you want a pleasant experience.

I saw this place going in down the street from my office, and I was eager to check it out. I was a little put off that it may take too long for the hour-long lunch crowd, but headed over there anyways. I go to lunch at 1:00, and there was only one other party in the place. The space is nicely updated, fresh(bright!) paint and fixtures — very minimalist. One tv on the wall that was bouncing around a Microsoft windows logo, one set of pop machines and scattered tables. There were about 7 different pizzas being sold by the slice: pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, spinach/feta, bbq chicken, and a stuffed one with pepperoni/sausage/ricotta. My first thought was that none of them looked fresh at all. I was relieved when he put our choices into the even for a little warm-up. I ordered the spinach/feta/artichoke slice, an order of four garlic knots, and a pop. It was $ 10. Only after sitting down did I notice the combo deal that for $ 6.95 you get ONE garlic knot(which would have been plenty), a slice and a pop. I will definitely do that next time. The slices are huge, and the crust is thin. Neither my friend nor myself could finish our pieces after the garlic knots. There is freshly minced garlic on top of the knots, and they are served with a red dipping sauce. I don’t know why… but that sauce was absolutely phenomenal. If that’s the red sauce that they use for their pizza, I can’t wait to try one. The dough for the knots was light and airy, not bogged down in butter — HOWEVER I do think some butter wouldn’t hurt. Or maybe garlic salt… it just seemed like garlic on dough. Still good. The veggies on my slice were good, but I loaded on parm, garlic powder(in a shaker at the table) and red pepper flakes. I found the white sauce they used to be bland. I think that this pizza would be GREAT with that red sauce, a good balance of flavor. Matt’s stuffed piece was pretty stuffed, and for a guy that can eat — he didn’t even finish it. My main complaint? Get some sauces! Set out some sriracha or franks… classic za accompaniments. I like that they deliver, and service was fast and friendly. I will be mixing this place into the lunch rotation for sure!

I debated writing an updated review, but after further thought I would be letting down my fellow Unilocalstas. After getting such a great stuffed spinach and feta pizza on my first visit to Pizzanetto, I was more than excited to repeat the order. So, yesterday I placed an order and went to pick it up. To start off, I forgot to bring my $ 1 off coupon; yet, they were kind enough to honor it when I showed it to them on my iPhone. Very much appreciated. I grabbed my pizza and drove home. I opened the box and the pizza was burnt. It was way over baked, hard as a rock, and dry. It was nothing similar to the pizza I had taken a picture of last time. It lacked what I described in my previous review the«oozy volcano like center of feta cheese.» The pizza was completely inedible. Not to mention a 14″ is $ 22. I called them back and they offered to make another pizza. I asked if there was anything they could do for the inconvenience of going back to pick it up. They said, «What are you thinking?» Wouldn’t one just provide a free pizza coupon? Especially when you’re brand new to the north shore. I was offered additional pizza slices, but frankly, the last thing I wanted was more pizza. I didn’t press them and agreed to a tossed salad. So… back to the parlor I went to pick up the replacement. They were extremely apologetic. When I showed them what they gave me there was consensus that a deviation occurred from their standard. I will say that they offered to have it delivered, but it was after the fact. I was already back. I exited with the second pizza and salad and headed home. I opened the box and in my opinion believe the pizza was still over baked. It wasn’t as bad as the first, but still not as appealing as the pie from my first visit. I was disappointed. My advice to the pizza bakers… turn down the heat or don’t bake them as long. Shoot for the pic I posted. A light golden crust. Not brown. If you do, you’ll satisfy and profit from a solid north shore following.

So here is the deal. After my so-so review, the owner of Pizzanetto reached out to me, and asked me to give them another chance. As a person that lived in NYC for 35 years, I could not turn down a request like this from another New Yorker. My plan was to try it again in about a week, but Pizzanetto had another idea. In true NYC fashion, they took the fight to me, and had three pie’s delivered to my work. I was hoping this experience would remind me a little more of true NYC pizza, and meet those expectations they did. Pizza was cheesey, tasty, and perfect NYC texture. It is nice to have someplace close by that reminds me of tastes from home, and my co-workers who ate the Pizza also were raving over how good it was. I think my first time there was early in their grand opening process, but I think they have it figured out now. Thanks for the Pizza and see you soon!

I went to dine in at pizzanetto and was a little peeved at the slow speed of the workers. Also my slice completely fell apart, forcing me to eat it with a fork and knife. It’s still a great slice of pizza and a good value. I will keep coming back.
