A while back I dined in and ordered shrimp fried rice. It tasted stale and dry and I believe they just reheated someone’s leftovers. We complained to the owner and they didn’t deny giving me old food and asked if I wanted anything else. Heck no. I couldn’t believe it. My wife decided to give them another chance yesterday for take out(without me knowing, of course). And incredibly, not only was the shrimp fried rice stale(again!), but the chajang myun tasted old and the jjam bbong smelled like seafood gone bad. This is the LASTTIME I’m going there. I just cannot trust them. Don’t waste your money.

The menu may seem overwhelming to someone who is not familiar with the cuisine. However, the food here is fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the prawns in chili sauce, Garlic and pepper fried chicken(like a lighter general tsos but with a great spicy garlic sauce), and the lo mein is fantastic. I like the veggie Lo mein where they serve it with sautéed bok choy, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, and more. Portions are family style but also make great leftovers. Enjoy!

I visited this restaurant at least 4 times. Korean Chinese restaurant. Food tastes delicious and the service is very attentive. They are very consistent. Prices at very affordable. I had their jjajangmyeon, shrimp kanpoonggi, and nanjawanz. Their complimentary kimchi tastes good too. I would recommend to my family and friends!

This place is ok. Came here on a recommendation by friends. The noodles with the special sauce wasn’t bad. Portions was huge for one person and we also order noodle with seafood. That want that great. I expected it to be spicier, it was very bland. We ordered a seafood fried rice and they gave us a shrimp fried rice. A little disappointing. But my nephews love the fried rice. We also order their fried pork with sweet and sour sauce that was just ok not the greatest I’ve had but it pleases the kids. All I can say is that this place is «just ok» nothing crazy about it. Would I go back there? Probably not by choice.

Jajang myun taste is good although you can tell it’s not the handmade noodles. The tang soo chicken was good. The sauce was not too sour like I had in other places.

If you want some decent Korean/Chinese food and want it fast, this place is ideal. This place is decent size and always seems to have room(you’ll get seated right away), a great go-to spot for casual dinner. Pros: –The owner and waiters speak both mandarin and Korean(it seems like all of them are bilingual), super cool! –The portions are huge! One or two dishes will definitely fill you up –Service is fast Con: –Some of the dishes could be hit or just average. I recommend the spicy jjampong, spicy seafood soup, Mongolian beef, and the pan fried dumplings. Again, the portions are big!

Their lunch prices are reasonable but I ordered 4 dishes and it came out to be $ 68. Their chicken and broccoli was $ 15 and to be honest the Chinese take out place by my mom taste way bettee. The chicken was tough at this place and sauce was ok. The noodles with special brown sauce was good. The fried chicken with sweet and sour place was more batter than chicken. thin slice of flour with barely any chicken. Not worth the carbs. The fried shrimp with sweet and sour sauce tasted better. the om rice is good if you like fried rice covered with egg and topped with ketchup. I’ll stop by here again because my dad likes their fried shrimp.

Good food and good service. If you’re craving good Jjajang-meon(blackbean noodle dish) check this place out(great price too at $ 6.99).

Having lived in Bayside for the last 12 years, I was always wondering what this«Korean-Chinese» restaurant was. And 2 weeks ago, my friend took me here cuz she had a craving for Jajangmyeon. Loll I’m like, sure. why not? Came on a Thursday afternoon. It was dead. One lonely guy in the corner slurping down his bowl of noodles and huge plate of mapo tofu in front of him. Sat down, and we both agreed on ordering the same, a bowl of Jajangmyeon, and this dish, I forget the name, but it was sweet and sour beef, fried and tossed in a gooey sauce. Food came out relatively quickly. The waitress gave us a pair of scissors with our Jajangmyeon. I guess to cut the noodles cuz they were too long. But I didn’t. I don’t know how I feel about a random ass pair of scissors going into my cooked food. O_O Um. no thank you! Loll The black sauce wasn’t very flavorful, though I liked the texture of the noodles. It was very filling too, but in a sorta satisfying way. The sweet and sour beef, despite the unappealing gooey appearance of the sauce. was actually quite good. Had lots of flavor and I actually enjoyed it. Interior décor was meh. nothing special. Floors looked rather old and could use cleaning. Service was good. Servers were courteous. There is a relatively small private lot in the back with about a dozen spaces. Plenty of residential parking nearby. I don’t think I’m gonna come back. I could make better Jajangmyeon at home. :D

Everyone says this place is not that great, but I disagree. I’ve been eating here for the past 5 years and I have to say, it’s one of the better chinese korean restaurants from the neighborhood. It’s not as good as you jjajang me champpong, but they are pretty darn good! ESPECIALLYTHEDESSERTWHICHISCANDIEDSWEETPOTATO I love coming here because at the end of your meal, they give you a plate of these delicious babies with your check. It’s basically sweet potato that’s been cooked in corn syrup, but oh man… THEYAREPERFECT! Other than that, the food has always been consistently good. The black bean noodles, seafood noodles, lo mein, mapo tofu are all dishes that I’ve tried and love. The sweet and sour pork is decent too. Not the crunchiest or the meatiest, but not too bad. If you leave it out for a day though, it gets super greasy and I don’t recommend eating it. Remember these entrees are big enough to share amongst two people! Just not the black bean noodles… I mean the meat and vegetarian entrees

Nothing special here in terms of Korean Chinese food. Nothing is absolutely terrible but everything I have had on this menu has something wrong about it such as not enough seasoning, too much seasoning, not crispy enough, etc. This place has inconsistent food and service.

I remember when Sam Won Gak was the«IT» place to eat korean/chinese food. Their food isnt terrible. In my personal opinion, i think their black bean noodle tasted like«water down» black bean sauce. Their Kungpao chicken was not as crispy as i would like and their seafood noodle soup«spicy» was not as flavorful. besides their food, their staffs are nice and friendly.

So good, solid choice every time I head over to this place. The chop suey is my go-to bowl of goodness. More noodles and seafood than I could ever want, I’m always stuffed and satisfied when I leave this place. If you’re looking for some good, cheap, quick food, you’ll be very happy with this place!

My Go-to chinese/korean in flushing. I usually go to the one in flushing but my family went to this one in bayside. Had jja-jang myun, spicy shrimp, jelly fish, fried mandoo… I love everything they had. it’s a great place to get the family togehter for a meal — and we go across the street to get korean pastries.

The food is good here, the staff is always friendly. I enjoyed the spicy seafood noodles. The Mongolian slice beef with scallions was pretty tasty as well. The black tar noodle though was mediocre, it did not have that much flavor.
