We attended a birthday party there this past weekend and it was wonderful. The facility is bright and airy, and it is really nice that parents can see into the class room at all times but still be in a separate room(there is a glass wall that separates the«play» space from the«party» space). The cadence of the party was just right and the kids(mostly 7 – 8 year olds) had an awesome time. Would definitely go back.

My daughter loves The Little Gym! We did a free trial class and she had such a great time that we signed up a few days after. The workers are friendly and fun. The space is small but well-kept. They offer a lot of different classes — we are sampling the music class next week. It’s also great that there are free open plays when you register for classes or are a member.

Overall I love the place — the best part is that it is new, including all the equipment. The staff and the owner(Tae) are very nice and helpful and the overall atmosphere is friendly, so my daughter loves to attend their classes. A couple of cons though: the prices are on the higher side and so far they only have one level for their school age gymnastics class, which is not challenging enough for my daughter who has been doing acrobatics for 4 years and is on an advanced level. However, I was told that as they continue to enroll kids, they will be offering different levels in the future.

The Little Gym is freakin awesome… for the most part. For those of you who want a quick rundown, here’s a quick list of pros and cons: Pros: Super clean Great staff(love Andi & Sofia) Fun & safe Close(ON Bell Blvd btwn 35th and 34th) Cons: Expensive($ 20/class) Hard to park but we walk Bad owner(Asian guy, Tae) — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – If you have more time to read… We’ve been bringing our 16 month old son here for 3 – 4 months now and he really loves it! It’s super clean, the staff is really nice and upbeat and the program is great. Every week they learn a new sign language and a skill(i.e. Tumble salt, walking on beams, etc). The actual gym area is VERY clean and safe for the kids to run around in. What we love the most is the staff. Andi is the BEST!(Tall girl with black hair in high pony with funky nails) She’s super perky(great for leading kids), really nice and really knowledgable. She’s a great leader, and the kids and parents both love her! Sofia is also really great! Always in a great mood, despite dealing with some kids with attitude, and great at leading the class. What we love least is the owner. He isn’t great at leading the classes. Jam packs lessons back to back(little kids can’t follow), doesn’t know anything when asked about the programs or details regarding that, and although has a very nice disposition, doesn’t take what others say into consideration at all. The bars need to be covered. The kids fall all the time and this is a hazard and a potential lawsuit. Many parents have talked to him about this. They’re still not covered. Another concern is the glass walls in the gym. The kids are constantly running into them. We’ve also brought this issue up to him and even suggested decals. Still bare and kids are STILL running into them. As much as our child loves coming here, we won’t be continuing Bc of the lack of the direction the place is taking with his poor management. It’s too bad.

I’ve been bringing my 15 month old daughter for a few weeks, and she lights up when we get off the elevator! She seems to be having fun, while practicing her walking and climbing. I’m glad I found out about this location. Right on Bell Blvd, which is very convenient!

Teacher seemed nice and enthusiastic but the place is kind of small. Brand new and clean though. My impression is that because it’s still new, they haven’t figured out all the kinks yet. It sounded like class enrollment is still sort of iffy. I would have joined but found the place to be too small for what I was looking for — there were really only a few stations of equipment and the activities seemed kind of boring for the kids.

Beautiful big Gym with lots and lots of light, and cool air conditioning. A giant glass wall to see the kids through without disrupting them and a big play area for the art classes. Wonderful staff and the owner is really great, I mean he is very involved with every detail and hands-on with everything. My son, 3yrs old, absolutely loves it and is excited to go every time. We used to attend a large mommy-n-me gymnastics place that was very large and he did not enjoy it. He cried every time and didn’t want to stay. Eventually, I pulled him out. I tried LGB once and he was hooked. Absolutely loved it and was so excited to go each time. The kind and warm staff are what made the difference. I enrolled him in a class over the fall and are now doing the 3-hour summer camp. I will be enrolling my 7yr old daughter come fall for gymnastics classes too because she went with me to pick him up and was jealous! Great place and awesome that it’s here in Bayside!!! so happy and highly recommend.
