Motel 6

Ordered online and room was decent for $ 60 and bed was clean and room smells okay. Near Wal-​Mart and fast food joints. No complaints u pay what u get.

This place was horrible! There floors were some fake hardwood floors felt like they haven’t been swept ever, felt the grit through socks. There was no table, no chairs, no couch, absolutely no place besides the bed to sit. Room did not have refrigerator or microwave nor was there even a microwave in the lobby for use. Not even tissues to blow your nose if needed. The tv didn’t even work. At least the staff was friendly but the motel it’s self and the room was not impressive at all. We ended up getting a refund and staying somewhere else.

The service is not the greatest. There was no internet, and the first non smoking room had ash trays and burns all over the cover! The hair on the bed was the last straw ! I went back to choose another room. After almost falling through the steps to get to and from the room on the second floor! The second room was cleaner and at least it was a non smoking room! But new paint and fresh bedding does not make it a better place to stay! I gave it a two star! Because the sheets and towels were clean at least!

— Maps application takes you to a different and horrible location. They need to fix this immediately.

Motel 6 is one if the finest and economical motel in Baytown though you found cheaper hotels as well but this is one of the best so far! It is located on the highway and easily accessible to all the places in Baytown! I stayed here for like three weeks and it was a good stay with nice staff! The only thing which I like to recommend is to have light Brkfast in the morning and free wifi which adds up the quality!!! Rest everything is fine here and u can for one night or long time!

Motel 6 is always my first choice in off highway motels, and this one is a perfect example. For a price less than $ 50, the room is clean, AC perfect, comfortable and slept well. Not much else you can ask for.

Very nice for a Motel 6. Completely redone with wood floors, decent beds and a large bathroom. No extras but clean and nice.

My boyfriend and I needed a cheap hotel to stay at for a week because of his traveling job. I read a few reviews online and was weary about staying here because their reviews on Google aren’t pleasant but they were published in ’09 so we stayed anyways because the price was nice.
When we arrived I couldn’t help but wonder what I had gotten myself into. The outside was not very inviting. I went in the lobby and the lady at the desk was very sweet and took care of me quickly. Within minutes I was at the room.
Upon entering the room I was surprised, beautiful hardwood floors, a big queen size bed, plenty of space, and each room has a decent sized flat screen tv.
The room was very clean. The bed was not to most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on but I didn’t wake up with back pain either. The A/​C was great! It was so good I had to turn it down to low fan, which is not a normal occurrence for me considering I am always hot and complain about the A/​C in every hotel I stay at.
The bathtub was not as clean as I would want it to be. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest if you enjoy taking baths, but worked great for the shower.
The pool was clear and seemed well maintained. I saw someone cleaning it each morning. There was a lot of bugs in the pool hours later though, but that is not the hotels fault.
Motel 6 does accept pets. I didn’t know until after we checked in so I didn’t bring my dog and don’t know if there is a pet fee.
There is a laundry room on site that charges $ 1.25 each for both washer and dryer.
The only honest complaint I have, at no fault to Motel 6, is a woman 2 rooms down from me had a German Shepard that was not well trained and tried to jump on me. The woman then yelled at me for ‘upsetting’ her dog, although all I did was walk out my door to my car.
I would definitely return to this hotel if I needed a place in Baytown.
