Won’t be going back. The three at the seating desk were inattentive and discussing one of their co-workers(whether he could be trusted). Bad in front of guests! Service was very slow, and the food was ok, but way too expensive for what we got.

I was very disappointed:( The service was great making it 2 stars. My platter of lobster & salmon was overcooked and rubbery. I’m not one to complain at the restaurant and send back food. I did like the salad & rolls. Red Lobster used to be «the place» to go but after the past few times I’ve been there, I haven’t been impressed. I really like the atmosphere and I usually hate giving bad reviews but a few improvements must be made. Overcooked & undercooked seafood is a no-no. The only conclusion I gathered is my food was warmed up? My my problem to figure out but it will not be on my list to recommend for good seafood.

The food taste good; the only downside is the service is always slow and not enough employees working. Manager running around etc.

Updated: I assume under a different management again but this time it sucks. I’ve gone about three times this year and each time the service has been horrible. Even if the restaurant is empty there will be a wait. Wait staff is inattentive and slow and forgot getting tartar sauce on the side — even when you ask for it when you order. I do love their food(I know, I know) but I can’t deal with their lack of service anymore.

I called in to place an order for an apple pie dessert. Surprisingly the last who answered the phone didn’t know what it was. Someone else got on the phone and confirmed they had the dessert. I asked to place an order and was told the kitchen was closed. Last time I checked they closed at 10 and the desserts are premade.

Oh Red Lobster… what happened? Being a nationwide chain, I was expecting the same quality of food and hopefully, the same service… nope. I was seated promptly and the waiter was friendly. I ordered the lobster bisque and for the main dish, the lobster /crab Alfredo. The bisque came out extremely late, at the same time as the Alfredo. The lobster and crab Alfredo looked nothing like what was on the menu, looked grossed. The Alfredo was tasteless and extremely oily. My food sat in a lake of oil! I picked at the lobster… or what looked like lobster. They ran out of biscuits and took forever to get them out. The plus side, the peach tea was superb. I’m sorry red lobster, you need to shape up or ship out.

Took a few minutes to be greeted at the front, took a bit to be seated. The host would ask a question and then ask again because she could not hear you because someone was talking in to her headpiece. Service was horribly slow, the greeting and ordering process were pretty abrupt and a left a feeling of being an inconvenience to the server. No rolls until salads were brought out-we have always received them before. Server came by a couple times to tell us our food was on the way and never noticed an empty glass on the table until the third time he said our food was on the way. When food was ordered we had requested an extra plate, it was not brought. Three people ordered crab legs and one cracker was brought out, we also requested lemons(which were never brought). He left, we finally asked another server and she stated they don’t have enough so he probably went back to wash some. If it had been busy I could have understood but they were not. And why bring out food when those crackers are needed?

Baytown Red Lobster has excellent food, service, and management. Our server, Kyle, was professional, thorough and friendly without rushing us. Manager Shari stopped by our table to thank us for choosing Red Lobster. The restaurant has a close family feel about it. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The kids raved about the Lobster Pizza and I particularly LOVE the Lobster Bisque. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. And of course we all love the Biscuits. We were too full for dessert, but love the Choco Brownie thing. This Red Lobster team was the perfect ending to a great morning visiting the USS Texas Battleship.

This was my first time there and the last. Went into the bathroom and no paper towels when we first got there or by the time we left(more than 2 hours). Service was slow and the salad came out before the appetizer. 30 min later the food came out. Spent over 2 hours that should of been a 30 – 45 min meal. Manager said they were under staffed. He did comp our appetizer which was $ 9.99. Over all not a good time and would not go back.

Shared the shrimp trio with my mom! Scampi was Delish! Shrimp Alfredo was yummy and the fried shrimp was pretty darn good! Biscuits were great as usual and the salad with blue cheese was fresh!

We both had the same meal(Lobster tail, Shrimp & Scallops). Everything was excellent. Service was good, fast enough, but not hurried, and the server was pleasant, without being effusive. All in all very good value.

I haven’t been to red lobster in such a long time in a couple of years, when I first walked into this place there was a stench I’m guessing coming from the carpets turned me off a bit. The waiter service was awesome very helpful always got our refills and asked if we needed anything. The food I know seafood is on the menu but i ended up ordering chicken what caught my eye was the Parmesan crusted chicken with alfredo sauce and twist pasta and broccoli was very good… Oh and yes you got to love the garlic buttered biscuits…

This place improved from the last time I was there. I would suggest avoiding high traffic times because the hostesses tend to get a little confused and overwhelmed by the influx of people. Besides that, the food was pretty good and drinks were kept full. I do plan on frequenting this place in the future.

A lot less populated than other Red Lobster’s I have been too. When we first arrived we could see three employees talking, but none came to seat us until there were two other groups behind us. And even after coming over the guy kept talking to the other two guys on his way over. We had almost walked out because we didn’t think it was open due to us not seeing any customers besides those in the bar. We figured it had to be open because the door was open and it was past 4 pm. Then when we were about ready to yell for one of the guys to assist us the guy started coming over. Other than that initial experience everything else was fine. Our waiter was very good and the manager frequently came by. He must be aware that some of his employees are slackers.

Again, another time I wish there was a half star. I’d rather give this 3.5, but I’ll edge it up because I think they are doing a better job than the past few times I’ve been there. This time, I was actually seated in the amount of time they said, which is pretty good since they are usually off by about 20 minutes on the longer side, so a plus for them. The staff was responsive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Another plus.(Maybe the somewhat horrendous review I gave the manager and their corporate office when I called last month changed a few things.) The food was good and I was pleased with the appearance, taste, and temperature. The only thing they can’t understand is not to give a toddler a burning hot plate. But, I had some of the small biscuit plates, so they were put to use. I like their salads because you can get the shrimp vinaigrette dressing. Little shrimp all over the salad, who wouldn’t like that? I had the lobster and salmon dish which was good. Actually, so good I’d get it again. But, like their name says, they have a lot of lobster dishes and I like lobster, so I eventually get around to trying them all. The BBQ Bourbon scallops are fantastic! But, I’d really like to know the nutritional information on that. I mean a sauce that good… there’s got to be something not healthy in it. All in all, it’s good for a seafood place. It’s not quite as good as Monument Inn and definitely not Pappadeaux, but it is a lot closer.
