Came on a Sunday. They weren’t busy at all. Started with the fried mushrooms… which boyfriend loved. I had the bacon cheddar burger. Despite the sign, it was not cooked to order. It was a very thin patty cooked well done. With very fatty bacon. And very little cheese. I was disappointed. I got the onion rings. Same batter as the mushrooms, but not crispy. He had the royal barn burger. Same problem with over cooking. If we order«medium» we really want medium. We’re adults. So… since his burger was also dry, it ruined the experience. His fries were good. Cheap beer… so that’s a good thing.

I came here with some high expectations and was very disappointed. The bacon I had with my burger was terrible. It wasn’t crispy, instead it was stringy, tough, and inedible. I also ordered mayo on the side because I like to apply as I eat and they didn’t bring it out with my burger. I asked the employee and he said he’d bring it to my table. He didn’t bring a knife to apply it with so I had to get up again to ask for that. Their french fries sucked too. I don’t ever plan on coming back here.

Great food when the right crew is working… Eat there probably two to three times a month but not always consistent… Sometimes food is cold when we get it. And not to many folks in the place for that to happen… One night I don’t know if the cook was over whelmed with Togo orders or what but only like three other families in there and he comes out kinda panicked and says it’s going to be at least a 45 min wait on all orders inside. It wasn’t but you can’t do that and let the customers hear your unwarryness.

This place was awesome! I had the Baytown burger and it was amazing. I liked the hokey feel of the place. Parking was terrible, but the food makes it completely worth it. The staff was helpful and explained many of the popular dishes. Good food and good times.

The parking does suck, especially the big pothole by the road, but the burgers are sooo good it’s worth leaving your car in the ditch across the street!

Work in the area and eat here regularly. I’ll say it’s probably the best burger in town. Huge selection if burgers and appetizers. Love the bacon wrapped jalapeños(spicy but awesome). Burgers are above average but nothing too special. Usually it’s packed bc it is the best in town so expect a line and a wait

Burgers are good. Service is normally on par but isn’t overly friendly by any means. That isn’t really a big deal though. Aerage wait time is 15 – 18 minutes for a burger(usually eat there once a week Since it’s close to work) but today took 23 minutes for a burger. Asked for a refund as my food was being brought out and the waiter dropped the cash and change on the counter, told me to have a good day and walked off in quite a rude manner. Won’t be going back there again. Not worth being treated poorly for asking for my money back. Used to be a local customer.

At first glance the Parking lot is very small. I would say 12 spots at most. Every time I have been here it has been really early, or close to closing. so parking was not really an issue for me. I would hate to see what it looks like during peak hours. Overall the place was decent. On the two occasions i went there, the inside was clean. The first time I went there I ordered a number 6, some wings and an order of sweet potato fries. I was really excited to try this place after reading all of the decent reviews. Soo lets start with the burger. It was a decent size, but the meat was very bland. Seemed like it had pepper on there but no salt. The moisture and everything was there! It was just like blahhh eating it because of the lack of flavor to the patty. The wings were GREAT I tried the sweet teriyaki and the bbq. The teriyaki were my favorite. The wings were a decent size also. The sweet potato fries were good also. I just did not appreciate that fact that I paid $ 3.95 and Got half a bag of fries. The first time I went customer service was great. The lady who took my order was really friendly. Second time not so good. The guy was not friendly at all and seemed like he was rushing me to get out. Didn’t say thank you or anything! All in all I would visit this place again only for the wings. The price range isn’t bad either. I wouldn’t doubt their burgers could be something great if it only had more seasoning!

Wasn’t to sure about this place. Took a chance and it paid off. Excellent variety of choices. Fried pickles are pretty darn good. The burger was homemade and cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients, would definitely be going back

I wanted to like this place. People I know jump up and down over it claiming it’s the best burger you will eat. Went to check it out… Good. 1. Nice cashier(you order up front then pay and go sit down). 2. Nice selection. Bad. 1. The fries are sub-par(frozen). If you own a burger joint, why do you not buy potatoes and a French fry cutter and slap em in the grease with some seasoning? 2. The patty is pretty bland. Not bad but not good either. I can get this patty at a carnival or a bowling alley. Not a good reputation for what you built your business around. 3. The bun is the soggier than tennis shoes in a swamp. You can’t finish the burger before it turns to mush. It’s like your trying to scarf it down before it goes away. Again, how can this be OK if you own a burger joint? 4. The eating area is not clean. If your arms stick to the tablecloth and your shoes stick to the floor then it’s time to do some cleaning. 5. Small parking area. Crowded ordering area. This place has potential but I think they need to concentrate on their process and improve their food. The cashier was very friendly though.

Great selection of burgers great tasting but a little messy. the onion rings were excellent and we had to try the buffalo wings which were very good as well I had the blue cheese burger. Didn’t have much of a wait in line because it was a Sunday but the food did come out slow but it was worth the wait because of its homemade home cooked style. Perhaps need to improve the buns or toast some little more because they do tend to fall apart and makes things really messing but good. Parking lot was a little small. The place was very clean.

Have been here twice now– good burgers both times, and a variety of burgers to choose from! In my opinion, the Fries are average… Wait time was average. My mother in law ordered after us and her food was out first, which was a little odd since we all had burgers… we went on a Saturday morning when they were pretty slow. I remember waiting longer the first time! Would go back if I was in the area and in the mood for a burger.

This is a good place to get a greasy, messy burger. Pros: –Big selection of original burgers to try(like teriyaki peanut butter, it’s good) –Provides other dishes besides burgers, like chicken fried steak –Good prices –Have the Monster Burger challenge with a wall of fame and shame display –Neat, casual décor Cons: — When crowded service can be really slow — Parking lot is terrible for the amount of people they usually have. — Burgers really are messy and greasy(although some might consider this a good thing)

As long as you know what you’re getting into — this is a great little place for lunch! Because my co-workers and I work pretty close to here, we had heard quite a bit about this place before going — mainly that the burgers were great and that you’ll have to wait forever if you get there around noon. Keeping that in mind, we got there at 11:30 am on a Thursday for lunch. Normally the parking lot is full but because we got there early we were able to get a good spot. I ended up going with the Chipotle and mushroom burger and some fries. The place was nearly empty so we got a table immediately and the food came out in under 10 minutes. Everything was tasty and it was a great full meal for under $ 10. I will be coming back some other time to try some of the other good looking burgers. I would recommend showing up at 11:30 am if you want quick service on a weekday and carpooling if you can as the parking lot is pretty small!

We went on 7⁄1 at 12pm, and met some friends for lunch. The parking lot was small, but no big deal — we parked on the street. The line was out the door, and we stood in line about 15 minutes before placing our order. It was kind of warm inside, but I think that’s because the door was open. Their menu is huge and impressive, and I got very excited about the Brisket Barn Burger… But already by 12:15pm, they were out. Was this because they had such a rush on it that day, did they not have enough from their last order(having none that day at all), or did they just not cook enough? Don’t know. Got a regular huger, boyfriend got the Royal with the fried egg. Finding a table wasn’t too hard — they have a pretty big interior with a hustling staff, who were bussing tables like crazy. Oh, for four combos was $ 30. Not bad! We waited about 20−25mins for our food… No exaggeration. Good company, good convo, refills on drinks(no servers, so just walk up to the counter and ask), so it wasn’t really that huge of a deal — except we were starving and it smelled so good in there. When they finally came, we were SOHAPPY. The burgers are huge, juicy, stacked with toppings, and they have thick cut fries. I was drooling as I ate my burger. We’re eager to try it again, and eventually make it through their entire menu — they have a good 15 – 20 burgers to try. The wait was about typical for your average sit down restaurant, but how long it took to order coupled with the wait after… including the fact that our friends(who have eaten there numerous times before) said they’re always out of something each time they come… earns this place a solid four stars from me. But if they earn that coveted fifth star, I’ll update & let y’all know. ;) Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed in the food at all — it’s delicious! Just plan a good 1.5hrs if you’re coming during peak lunch or dinner. :)
