Fun place for kids. I was there with my four year and my seven year olds camp today for the first time. The place definitely is outdated ., almost gives you the feeling your in another era. but the kids still had fun. A bit pricy as many of the kiddy rides are 4 and 5 tickets. $ 15 for 20 tickets and $ 30 for 45 tickets. The biggest turn off for me were the«ride attendants«half the time you had to find one to start a ride and they were all straight out miserable. There are two twin 20 «something’s «girls who appeared to be in charge of the kiddy section and they were just plain nasty! Yelled at another attendant for not collecting tickets from me as I needed to go on the ride with my daughter. Really? You are going to make me give you 5 tickets because my child needs an adult to go on he ride. My daughter also had a wristband for her camp. They gave you the feeling of irritation that people were there. Walked about angrily. Other then that could be really great if they employed happier more inviting employees and made the much needed updates.

This place used to be good– I live locally so it was our go to place to pay mini golf — went yesterday June 11thOMG what a mess. Water — torn greens, don’t waste your money — drive a little further and play out on Rt. 37 west toward Manchester. great place. Also Swing Time in Howell is good. I did complain to the guy before leaving. He seemed surprised and asked me which holes were bad. really??? you don’t know that a couple holes are not even playable? guess you don’t look at your course very often! but my son, who worked there a while back, said that was his manager and he really doesn’t care so guess people will just have to stop going and wasting their money to get Blackbeards attention.

This place is a dump. It’s filthy and the rides are INCREDIBLY unsafe. And on several different occasions I’ve seen managers speaking abusively to their employees. The people that own the place are cheap and nasty people. They don’t take care of the place. I would never bring my children here. They charge way too much for such poor quality entertainment. Will never go here again.

In a single word: DUMP. Bad bathrooms, terrible courses with flooded mini-golf holes(see pictures) ANDABOVEALL, RUDEANDALMOSTRACISTFEELINGCUSTOMERSERVICE! Looking over our parties group with a devious look almost as if we’re criminals! The guy was a manager. That being said, waste of an hour drive and $ 40. AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS!!!

Pretty cool place for kids. Go karts mini golf other activities. The price is fair. The course can use some work. A bit run down but nice atmosphere. And if you get hungry there is actually a Roy Rogers yes I said it. Don’t know how many people remember it but a Roy Rogers down the street.

Took our grandchildren there today. What a rip off! It cost $ 36 for 6 of us to play and our one grandson was only 3! The one hole was underwater so it couldn’t be played. The artifical turf was all ripped up on a couple of holes. I know it is early in the season but we were still charged full in season prices. The place is really neglected! Yes, there was a nice selection of clubs and golf balls– hence the one star!

I grew up coming here as a kid. A lot of my childhood memories involve Blackbeards Cave. I came here for the first time this summer in over 13 years. It looks like it has gone completely downhill. The mini golf was definitely worn out and had dirty pools of water instead of the flowing clean water falls and clean pools of water that I remember. The staff(young teens) were having a completely inappropriate conversation using foul language around my partners 7 year old daughter while she was using the bouncer jumpy thing where she’s harnessed in. I have it two stars because we did enjoy racing the go-karts just like I did back in 99. Blackbeards Cave definitely needs some work, some sprucing up, some cleaning and maybe weed out the staff that can’t keep their in appropriate conversations to themselves until after work(or maybe text each other on the job so a 7 year old doesn’t ask me what«fucking» is later.)

Old family run amusement area. The rides here are all kiddie rides. There is a go cart track that has cars for adults and cars for the younger ones. There are also bumper boats that are pretty good when the weather is hot… YOUWILLGETWET! They used to have a paintball booth and a BB gun booth. Those are gone now. They still do have an archery booth where you can shoot arrows at different targets. They are currently building a new attraction called tank wars. There will be 2 man operated tanks that ou drive around and shoot targets and each other. Looks pretty cool. There is also a drivng range if you are into golf. A small restaurant is also in the property, but we didn’y try it. The tickets can be alittle pricey, especially if you have older kids that want to ride the go carts. A book goes quickly. While this is o Great Adventure by any means, it is a nice diversion where you can avoid the crowds that go with those places. It’s also nice to see these throwback family run parks still operating.

It’s somewhere to go. If you are looking for a fun activity you have a couple choices. You go to the boardwalk or Black Beards. Unless you wanna drive all the way to Freehold for laser tag. It’s kind of skeevy, and the staff is also kind of skeevy but if you’re in a group and you want to play mini golf or ride go carts, it’s the place to do that. The kiddie park is actually ok, never crowded and lots of stuff for young children to do.

This has gone downhill since I was a teenager. Everything there seems grubby and old. The mini-golf is nice, but it’s always very crowded and most of all expensive! They do have quite a bit to do — mini golf, archery, batting cages, driving range, go cart track(better than the one at 6 flags), some kiddie rides and a cheesy little arcade. Personally though, I’d rather drive a few minutes more and go to seaside boardwalk.
