This is a review of their plain cheese pizza only. Every trip to LBI we would always stop in O’Malleys for plain cheese pizza. Hands down the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had, except for maybe the old Rocco’s in Madison. After Hurricane Sandy they didn’t reopen, but the same O’Malleys guys still make pizza next door in the Bagel Shack every day from 5−9PM(except I think Sundays.) We just picked up a couple pies from them tonight & they were great as always. Super thin crust with excellent oven flavor, perfect seasonings on the sauce, and the cheese is the same style that has been on all the best pizzas I’ve had from some great pizzerias over the years. Oh man is it a good pie! If you grew up in the 70’s eating pizza from any of the hundreds of great pizza joints in New Jersey, then you’re going to love this pizza. But if you grew up later & think that the pizza served in gourmet«pizza kitchens» is actually pizza, then there’s little hope for you & you probably won’t like it.

Every time we hit the island, we make a trip to O’mallies. They have great pizza, and a few other menu items. We should have skipped the other items(cheese sticks), as they’re just what you’d expect. The ambience is low, and the pizza seems to take a while. But you can’t beat their cheese(I prefer it to the pepperoni). My kids love to come here, then head to the giant beach store across the street. It’s a perfect way to spend a non-sunny summer afternoon.

Good, solid place to go for pizza, cheesesteaks, apps, etc. It’s not exactly«gourmet» pizza, but it’s pretty good pizza for LBI. Don’t know if it’s a seasonal thing, but they only had large pizza when we went there.

Wasn’t sure what to expect of O’Malley’s as I went here for a last minute bite to eat before I went out for the night. The outside was very plain looking as well as the inside and it does not have a very inviting feel to the place but they do have a good sized seating area which is a plus. The service was lacking and it took quite a bit of time to make the pie that(half sausage/half pepperoni) my friends and myself had ordered. I am not a fan of thin crust pizza and as such was not a fan of the pie. The pepperoni was extremely greasy and so hot one my friends mouth was burnt for a full day. I was not able to try anything else on the menu so I am not sure if there is anything else that is good. For now, I would recommend researching and exploring the area for other pizza options.

Ordered 2 pies for takeout. I arrived and nobody seemed interested in helping me. Finally got someone’s attention to grab my pizza to go. Food was cold, mushrooms were less than fresh, taste was blah. Fine is you must have pizza, but suggest looking elsewhere. If planning to eat there, know there are very few tables.

One of the worst grilled chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was as dry as a piece of shoe leather. I don’t know if it was a re-heated left over or just over cooked, but it was not good at all. The pizza was good. Stick with pizza and you’ll be fine. Not the cleanest or nicest looking interior either.

Big, foldable slices. Crust of perfection. Extremely, extremely busy… about an hour for take-out pies both times we went in at dinner time. We got a variety of slices instead of waiting for pies — faster for sure. The two girls working one Friday night were Eva Mendez and Kirsten Stewart lookalikes. Maybe being Hollywood Hot is a job requirement? The crew is super nice, moves fast and is efficient. We were very satisfied.

Here a little secret. Mexican food is fantastic here. Try it out and it will be hard to go back to pizza

Favorite pizza!!!(and that includes at home and the beach!) Wonderful thin crust! Perfect french fries. They don’t gouge you either. Friendly staff and some funny wall décor. We make sure to stop every time in LBI!

Best thin crust on the Island… yummy stuff. I also agree that the staff could be a little more friendly so taking one star away. I will be there again soon though. J

This has the best thin-crust pizza on the island. Good pizza is difficult to find especially south of New York. This place just does it right. With that said, their unfriendly management makes this restaurant my second choice.

I was not expecting much from this place, but I have to admit we had a good meal here. We ordered wings, fries and a couple of slices. I found the food to be above average, and I am usually pretty critical. There is something tasty about the pizza — I am not sure if it’s the sauce or the crust. I am not really a fan of pizza, but I liked it. The cluck-u wings were small and delicious. I enjoyed the fries. A meal like this usually gives me heartburn but I didn’t experience any — I even had room for ice cream! We will definitely be back for wings!

Our family enjoyed several meals at O’Malleys. I enjoy the Cluck-U chicken wings they serve. They’re less expensive than those at Chicken or the Egg, but they’re also a bit smaller. We had a nice thin crust pizza that the family enjoyed. My daughter had a massive baked ziti that lasted for several meals as a leftover. We’ve gone back to this pizza place for years and enjoy it every time.

The pizza, I didnt eat it but ordered two pretty easy to make and very straightforward items, Chicken Parm sandwich and an Eggplant Parm sand. Pathetic to think that a place who serves such foods day in and day out can screw up making that. HERE it takes the cake on not being able to do that. Carelessly prepared and long time to execute a deep fried cutlet(and the eggplant) and was so incredibly greasy, topped with a big glob of hardly melted pile of Mozz. cheese, unappetizing these sands. were and simply disgusting in every way shape and form. DONOTEATHERE! PLus, with all the choices on the island, dont waste your money or time. I threw 15 bucks down the drain. My 2nd bad meal in 2 days while away. Where is a return policy on food??? There should be! I guess it’s the pizza sales of what keeps them around and afloat. The pizzza we saw didnt even look that good, but hey, so many people dont know good food or even, good pizza.
