When I moved to Cleveland, I was very excited at the prospect of these apartments. They were spacious, in a good area, and priced right. Later, some truths were revealed about these places. For starters, Debra owns over 100 rental units around the area. This place in particular was loaded with a lot of empty promises. The heat for one never works to full capacity, comes on near Halloween when its about 49 – 50 degrees out. In February, my bedroom was around 65 degrees, the living room about 60 degrees, the dining room about 55 degrees and the kitchen about 50 degrees. No I am not kidding. most of the tenants have space heaters. She advertises free heat but then you get stuck for a 20 dollar surcharge on your gas bill plus whatever you used in cooking gas. So then, it really isn’t FREE. Secondly, she will rent to just about anyone. There are tons of dogs there and as a result, tons of dog piss everywhere on the snow. Next, there is no parking unless you want to pay the city 35.00/month for a spot. Next, most of the time the hot water works but not always. In fact, many times I ve had to wake up to a cold shower. Not my idea of fun. Lastly, several loud and trashy people come in and out at all hours. On a side note, there is another review which is not recommended here but I am personally endorsing the review since it is all true.
