Stopped in for a sandwich, after forgetting to bring lunch from home, one day this week. I was promptly greeted by one of the owners. She advised me that all of the sandwich prices had changed(for the higher of course) and that she would let me know how much the one I selected would cost. Nice of them to let you know before you order and get a surprise at the end. I guess they didn’t feel like updating their menu though? Either way, the menu is extensive with several different options. On this particular afternoon the«firecracker» caught my eye. Fried Chicken soaked in buffalo sauce, covered with blue cheese and served on a toasted sub(so a buffalo chicken sandwich). It was surprisingly good, filling, and loaded with chicken. The price($ 7.99) was a bit steep for a small deli, I thought, but it was definitely worth it Overall this place seems really great. The menu was more extensive than most sandwich spots, it was clean, inviting, and the owners were very nice/pleasant. They have some tables to sit and eat if you’re in the mood to stay there. Prices can run high, but it’s probably not so far off from everywhere else. Worth checking out for sure

Nemmi’s Deli is the best place to grab deli-style food. The owners are wonderful, hard-working people, and it shows. The place is always clean, and the deli service counter is spotless. In addition to cold sandwiches, they also serve hot sandwiches, pizza, and other baked goods. Everything is always delicious, and the food is always consistent. They have the best hard sandwich rolls around. Stop in and grab a bite — you won’t be disappointed. The only problem is, once you have a Nemmi’s sandwich, no other sandwiches will ever be up to par, so you’ll be stuck here!

This is one of the best delis in beacon next to Mr. V’s deli. It is slightly cheaper and has larger verity of food for its not just a just a deli.

Outstanding. We stopped on a long road trip(NH to TX) because of the other reviews and it did not disappoint. The meat was sliced fresh when we ordered, we couldn’t have asked for a better lunch in an area where we were unfamiliar with what was around us.

If you want a deli in Beacon, this is the place. Their food has always been delicious and they are very accommodating. The owner is very nice and the staff has also been friendly. They have lots of options, are decently priced and offer Boarshead meats. They have a grill to make great egg sandwiches too, which you don’t always find in a deli. Try them out!

Nemmis Deli has the best sandwiches in the Beacon/Fishkill area. Their specialty subs are delicious. ie: Danny Special, Manhattan Zoo, Reuben, etc. Have yet to be disappointed!

Some of the folks who work here are nice and attentive. I have had a few positive experiences with their deli, but yesterday was a very bad one and I do not know if I will be back. I went in and ordered with a nice lady behind the counter. She spoke in her language to a young man who answered her back with an attitude in English asking who wanted cold cuts. She told him that there was a customer and I asked why it mattered who they were for as a joke, the three of us had a laugh because he didn’t see me standing there and must have though she was messing with him. Instead of grabbing the meat and cheese and getting to slicing, the young man went back to what he was doing, which to me looked like a lot of leaning against a grill and wall. I understand that a place can get busy and there is a line you that you wait in for service, but there was one table of two in the whole place. The woman went back to sitting(!!) behind the register with her arms folded as if bored. After about 5 minutes of this I asked if they were too busy to cut my deli meat and told her I could go somewhere else if they are too busy. I know this is kind of a jerk move, but It is frustrating to watch two people stand around while a customer waits. Being in customer service I know this is wrong and not par for the course at Nemmi’s. She yelled something in her language at the young man and he yelled something back angerly and began slamming things as he cut my deli meat. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut through it. Before the meat and cheese were cut the woman rang me up; I notice that they did not weigh their product but charged me for specific weights for each item. That is unprofessional and wrong and a consequence of whatever transpired between the three of us. Upon arriving home I found my meat cut to shreds, I asked for it sliced thin but this was a ridiculous pile of shredded meat. Almost a «Screw You» type feeling. The first couple slices of cheese were obviously old and crumbling while the later slices were perfectly fine. another«Screw You». Obviously the kid behind the deli and grill was overworked(although I don’t know how this is possible with only two people sitting at a table and one deli customer.) and not happy, but customer service is customer service. If you can’t help more than one person at a time Deli work in New York is not for you. Also, if you are there to simply run a register while someone else breaks their back, maybe it is time to learn how to support the business you work for. Again, I have had good experiences at this place but this one was bad enough to make me question whether or not I want to go back. At least I know that if these two are there I need to go elsewhere.

This is a very clean deli. They will deliver anything in the store if your order is over $ 15.00 Decent pizza Very good hot food and excellent egg sandwiches. All Boarshead coldcuts. I would give this 5 stars but I must complain that calling in an order is often a disaster. They have employees that answer the phone that can not speak nor understand english very well and orders are often not correct as a result of this. If I go in and order and wait, it is always correct. I find it very inconvenient on my way home that I can’t call ahead and order cold cuts. I have to stop and wait for the order to be cut. So I often use another deli when I would like to give my business here. I also HATE that the otherwise very kind, respectful owner seems to think it’s OK to call me «da’ling» and«sweetie» and«sweetheart» repeatedly every visit — UNLESS my husband is with me. It’s very creepy — who does that in this day and age? I do not think that he means it in a derogatory way, just doesn’t realize it is offensive.
