Great food every time I go and the people are always nice. Grioli’s is a hidden gem if you like New York style Italian food and pizza.

My wife and I ordered a Bistro Steak Salad, Cheesesteak and another side salad. Food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Best place in Bealeton to eat! Definitely recommend!

Very disappointed in this place. We used to be regulars here but the quality has been going down. First was the iced tea was more like iced colored water. There was no tea flavor. Our appetizer plates sitting on the table were dirty with old dried cheese on one of them. I tried the stuffed chicken and to be honest it was gross. There was no fresh here, it was a frozen store bought product. It was dry as the Sahara and had this awful taste. The kids meals came with fries coated in old bay. You would think they would put that info on the menu or at least ask before coating them. Yeah this will be my last trip. Sorry because I used to really like this place.

My two kids and i ate in the restaurant tonight. Tower of pisa, lobster bisque was awesome, and my son had the«mini» pizza, which is as big as the plate. Dave our server was awesome.

Went on a Friday night(9÷4÷2015) at 6:30. There was no wait but it was packed. Their tables are very low which felt slightly awkward at first. They have complimentary bread which is always nice, but I had four people, three«loaves» and 3 small butters, had to ask for more. Our Order: Tower of Pisa Appetizer, Large Hawaiian Pizza, Personal Pepperoni Pizza, Lasagna Bolongese and four sodas, three fountain, one bottled diet soda. Total around $ 60.00. So, Tower of Pisa(an appetizer sampler): Bruschetta could have been a little crispier as well as the homemade chips. Wings weren’t good or bad, served with ranch and celery. Mozzarella sticks were fine and the toasted raviolis had nacho cheese in them… served with cold marinara sauce. Took a while getting out to us. Hawaiian pizza tasted fine. The pepperoni pizza was alright –the pepperoni is the paper thin but super greasy kind. The highlight was the Lasagna Bolonegese. So instead of meat sauce they use Bolonegese sauce as the meat. Not authentic bolognese sauce but pretty tasty. They had a pretty diverse menu, paninis, soups, pastas, pizzas and salads. We may visit again if we’re out that way. Our local Ledos closed and it has that feel to it. All in all an okay Italian«bistro».

If I could put –5 stars I would… Do not go here and eat unless you want to get grossed out and have food poisoning… What an disgusting excuse for Italian food… They bring you stale crumbly God knows how many times reheated bread for free. We had very unappetizing Tower of Pizza for appetizer — cold stale chips, bruschetta had no taste made with same old bread that you get for free, fried ravioli hard and dried, mozzarella sticks and hot wings were mediocre. Minestrone soup«with homemade Nona’s broth» tasted like it was out of can… Calzone Classico was only decent meal that was edible with lots of mozzarella, ricotta cheese and ham, crust was meh nothing memorable, it came with a little cup of marinara that tasted like it was from a jar or a can not something you would expect to get from Nona’s kitchen. Go to Subway or five guys burgers and fries that are near by there.

Food was okay, service awful. No drink order for 10 min after we were seated. People were nice enough but very inattentive and slow. Each meal at our table was served 5 min apart. We all ate my fries waiting for each plate to arrive. No reason to go back.

They need more wait staff. There were only two people working the whole floor. Attitudes suck. The food is great but the friendliness needs improvement. This place used to be a 5 star!

I don’t know why I keep trying this place hoping it gets better. The service was horrible. My waitress yesterday took our order for food without writing it down. I’m fine with this if you can actually remember. Of course the food came out wrong. Both of are drinks stayed emptied for a long time. The appetizer came out 3 minutes before our food. I had to go to another table to get silverware after waiting 10 minutes with waitress nowhere to be seen. I waited about 15 minutes for check. The check never came as I started to walk out she saw me from the back and brought it to me. Food is ok, The chicken parmesean I got must have been pre-cooked the day before, the chicken in some parts was to hard to even cut with a knife. Myself and everyone I know always joke about this place being horrible but we always go back for some reason.(there isn’t many other options in this area) I’m really not going back again if I can help it. This restaurant could have so much potential if he had a manager to manage the service of the staff and food quality.

Being a first time customer, my expectations were based on appearance and pricing and were somewhat elevated. Family dinner was a steak sub, pasta dish, and pizza. Restaurant atmosphere was good, service was good, but the food seemed to lag behind in quality versus price. I expected the food to be closer to «wow» rather than… Well… It was just okay. Merely okay for the price was somewhat disappointing. My pizza was merely ordinary on a par what domino’s, but at a higher price. I don’t mind, and am willing to pay more for food that meets or hopefully exceeds expectations… But walked away today feeling disappointed. Perhaps another day.

I was bummed that I had to go with Grioli’s when working in Bealeton, since there was a Five Guys next door and I had quite an appetite. My experience with Grioli’s was in a group of 14, so it may not be the same as when consuming in pairs. First off, management made a poor decision giving our table only one server, since there were 4 others working and only 4 parties in the restaurant. It doesn’t take a lot to figure out that there are demands that need to be met with 14 people that one person generally can not handle. Our guy did his best, but he was outmatched, and we weren’t even that choosy. The food is hard to comment on as it had about as much character as the stock pictures of Italy did on the wall. I had the lasagna, which staved off my hunger but was very forgetful otherwise. The whole place felt like they were doing what they feel a restaurant should do, and there was no originality injected in to anything. Prices were good, and the food was solid, but it left much to be desired. As easy as it is to make your own pasta and sauce in an Italian restaurant, it’s a little disappointing when you don’t get the real thing. The calamari was tasty and wasn’t your regular tiny fried crunchy nothing that you get in most places. Overall, Grioli’s was a meh.

We decided to try Grioli’s for the first time the other night. It was fairly busy, but not packed. They seated us at a booth near the back of the restaurant and our waiter came over promptly to take our drink and appetizer orders. He brought our drinks right back and then disappeared for 45 minutes. Literally. We were having the discussion of paying for our drinks and going elsewhere when a gentleman(I believe the manager) brought our appetizer. About 3 minutes later, our meals arrived. The food was pretty good. But worth the wait? Don’t think so. We may try it again some time. The manager was friendly and very attentive but one waiter has the power to make or break an experience. not checking on your table for 45 minutes broke it.

We’ve had dinner twice here; once take-out and the other dine in. Both times we had great service. The pricing is reasonable and the portions are good. We have ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna, house salad, fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the garlic bread which were all very good. My only complaint was the second time I got the spaghetti I opted for the spicy marinara sauce instead of the regular marinara and I did not like it. It was too spicy for me but that’s more of a personal preference, not necessarily that the sauce was bad. Will definitely be coming back.

I used to eat here pretty frequently, dine-in & carry out, when we lived closer(2008ish), but now it’s just every so often and always to-go. The front counter staff have always been very friendly when I order & pickup. The food isn’t out of this world, but I think it’s pretty consistently good in my experience. We will continue to go back!

This is our go-to option for Italian food in the Bealeton/Warrenton/Culpeper area. We love that they present olive oil with the bread(as well as butter for those who don’t know any better) and all three of us can’t get enough of it! The entrée choices are very good and the kid portions are ENORMOUS. The staff generally tends to be very attentive and the ONE time we had bad service and mentioned it we received an apology and actually never saw that waitress again on subsequent visits. As someone who spent 10 years married into a Sicilian family, I am pretty picky about Italian food and the food here certainly fits the bill.

I’ve always had good food and good service at this Italian restaurant. Their pizza and Stromboli are amazing, especially their Hawaiian pizza. Definitely the nicest restaurant in Bealeton. Nice atmosphere.

On a lunch date, I ended up here. This is one of those adorable little places I feel like you would see on a Gordon Ramsay show… without the whole nightmare concept. Super clean, super friendly staff, and super cliché Italian restaurant. Plants and ivy vines surrounding the ceiling, bottles of red wine, checkered tablecloths, it was actually pretty adorable. We ordered fried pickles, NOT Italian, and fantastical!!! Oh how I love fried pickles, and these were not overly breaded. I also managed to accidently avoid an Italian entrée and since it was lunch, ordered a club. I’ve had a lot of clubs in my life and they are pretty hard to mess up, but they is also only so much you can do to make them outstanding… and Grioli’s did! The meat was cold, the bacon crisp, the bread perfectly toasted. I could only eat half of it, so you can imagine how excited I was to be able to take the rest home for later. It’s a rare thing to find a nice, affordable, and friendly little neighborhood eatery, that’s locally owned. I hope to find myself back in the Bealeton area soon so that I get to eat there again!
