Hibachi of Fox Run

The food is fine, but there is a middle age Chinese waitress with awful attitudes toward the customers. She won’t answer your question and won’t explain things to you, and even tells you to not order the food here if you don’t want to wait. (I’ve been waiting for a take out for 45mins already!)

My wife & I tried it last week the food was pretty good, we will go back when Chinese night. They are very friendly also, I speak alittle mandarin, I plan to carry my son when he comes back from china

This place used to be a hidden gem. now it is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really superb and sometimes it is subpar.
I particularly enjoy the avocado rolls and vegetarian rolls which have avocado, japanese radish, cucumber and carrots. Their miso soup is usually enjoyable. The green seaweed salad is good. Hibachi vegetables with steamed rice is my favorite. I often get extra sides of zucchini and onions, which are steamed and seasoned perfectly. I love the pink dipping sauce. If you eat in, the hot pots are a great choice.
Sometimes they have parties and the space is rented out by different clientele. When you go there and you see a whole bunch of Asian, non-​English speaking people. you know the place is legit. The staff is pretty nice and cordial. They delivery!!! It’s in a shopping plaza with a bunch of other stuff, so you could potentially go shopping while you wait for your food to be ready. There is a cool fish shop at the end of the plaza, they have fish from all over the world. You can buy or just browse, and the staff is very knowledgeable.
Now since I’m a vegetarian, I typically haven’t had issues with the food, anyways not as much as my carnivore/​omnivore counterparts. Do not get the item that has «steak,» you will be sourly disappointed. it is not steak, it is steakum. The seafood is hit or miss, in particular the shrimp. Also, note that the hours of operation used to be longer, and sometimes they offer delivery and other times not. so that is a hit/​miss too.

We love Hibachi, and since this place is so close by and delivers, we order here a lot. However, the quality is totally hit or miss. When it hits, it’s INCREDIBLE! When it misses, it misses bad. If the quality was consistent, we’d live off of this food.

Everyone needs to try the lamb sticks. I have been to China and had the real thing and these are better. Also the filet mignon and soup are excellent. They have a secret authentic Chinese menu. Brooke is also a great, hardworking waitress. Highly recommended for the price.

Phoebe is the best waitress here, so make sure to tip her well. Its a combination restaurant of chinese and japanese cuisine. Food is pretty affordable and will fill you up.
