Good drinks, right on the water with a great view. My wife and I shared the blackened grouper sandwich and it was tasty and huge. Very good home made tarter sauce and 2 dollar landshark bottles when we were there.

Great place for views of the water and all the boats. Very casual and good for families and large groups of people. Service was ok, a little slow at first, but we were attended to. We had the tuna tacos, the fried basket w shrimp crab cake, and flounder and I had the catch o the day. All were good, but not the best. Will pass next time.

Grabbed lunch here after a morning out at the islands. Good food. Friendly service. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze. Typical bar and grill food for the most part. The rice bowl was good. The tuna tacos were great, cooked properly and plentiful.

We visited Finz for the first time in a few years. Good food, pretty spot, but the bartender was not friendly and rude. We asked some simple questions about the menu and she answered is like we were complete idiots.

Love this place. They are always helpful with Gluten free options and very friendly. Eat here at least once every trip.

Kind of a divey(atmosphere) waterfront bar and grill… great if you’re in super casual attire(think shorts and tshirts, maybe even over a bathing suit) and you still want to eat on the waterfront. Good place to tie up your boat while you eat or grab a beer. The founder sandwich was good and filling… not a culinary masterpiece, but good. It got the job done.

If it wasn’t for the view, one star. We had an average, over-cooked burger; good but bland shrimp burger; fish tacos where one was over-cooked and one was decent; and a too-spicy BBQ burger. The IPA was good and the frozen strawberry daiquiri was good. View was nice of a harbor with some boats passing through. I wouldn’t go back.

We found Finz after walking out of McCurdy’s in Atlantic Beach because of their suckass service. Finz is a casual place on the water, located on Front Street in Beaufort, NC. They even had a pirate walking around taking pictures with the patrons. We were immediately seated and had the coolest, more attentive waiter… and we weren’t his only table but he some how made us feel like we were even though he was slammed with other customers. And the food was the icing on the proverbial sundae. I had the seared Ahi tuna steak and it was cooked to order. My husband ordered a steak and a side of shrimp. The steak was huge and he asked for medium rare and received exactly what he ordered. I will definitely be back.

The view on the back deck is beautiful and relaxing, our waitress wasn’t the friendliest but she was to the point and prompt — made very little small talk and I’m not sure if she knew how to smile. Overall the food was good, we both had burgers and they were huge. Cheap to moderately priced food, beer on tap and a great view. If you’re not looking for something to ‘WOW’ you but looking for decent food and prices, this is the spot.

We love this place! Casual and relaxed, nice views, tasty food. It’s not fancy but we can depend on Finz to be a good experience.

My fingers still stink from arranging my flounder on my sandwich after nearly 24 hours. The fishy taste of the sandwich(tonight’s special) was somewhat mitigated by the blandness of the stale bun and the tang of the aged grease it was fried in. My wife’s shrimp wrap defied description It was huge but loosely put together and loosely wrapped. The(very) small shrimp appeared translucent with an indescribable taste The wrap’s ingredients included large chunks of tomato providing a nice contrast with their little marine friends. Condiments were served in the cutest plastic cups and the flatware was real.

Awful, unless you like waiting 45 minutes to get your food. We ordered the crab drip to start it was mediocre at best. All you could taste was the red & green peppers. I had the cheeseburger it was bland and for $ 9. You would expect more. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp wrap and it also had no taste. We ordered wine and we got around 3 oz for $ 8. If your like bad, slow service and bland food then this is the place for you!

We ate at 4 different seafood restaurants during our vacation and this was easily the best. Anything with blackened ahi tuna is good. Also, the clam chowder is awesome

Cheese shrimp sandwich was fab! Would have liked to see more creative options(less Applebee’s, more oomph), but they had a great location with a nice deck. Easy to spend a few happy hours with a few drinks.

Yuck. View is beautiful, they were out of potatoes, food was served cold, pork chop served medium rare. Waitress was very nice.

This family-friendly riverside eatery in downtown Beaufort has good food, a fun atmosphere, and a solid selection of North Carolina craft beers on tap. What’s not to like? They served up a terrific grilled Mahi Mahi and a hefty plate of nachos, and our service was friendly and quick. The covered deck boasts a great view of the Beaufort marina and the nearby beaches of the Rachel Carson Reserve, giving diners the very real chance of glimpsing a wild horse along the shore. Good spot.

So-so. The waitress was nice but forgot a lot. The drinks were GOOD — food was FAIR. Atmosphere FANTASTIC. Couple who sat down after us were served lunch before our drink order came out. Shrimp obviously not local — tasted pre frozen and farm raised(had firecracker salad, or something like that).

Located on the water which gives you a nice view when sitting outside. Seating was very quick and waitress was friendly and attentive. Mostly fried foods. Wife and I both got the shrimp burgers and fries which were not bad. Sub out the cole slaw which wasn’t very good. Nice place if you are looking for something quick and fast. Especially since it is located just across the street from the North Carolina Maritime Museum. They have a handful of parking spots in the front with 2 hour parking, but there is also a free public parking lot off Turner Street. Don’t pay the meter if you don’t have to.

Overall: Won’t go back. Fish Tacos: What a letdown. The waitress acted annoyed and just kept telling me over and over that she doesn’t eat fish but the fish tacos are the«biggest selling thing on the menu.» If they are the biggest selling thing on the menu, don’t you think you should try to get some feedback from customers about which variations taste the best so that you can intelligently answer questions about them? Then at the last minute she said they didn’t have Mahi and asked if it was ok if they swapped it out for day old flounder. The blackened seasoning failed to cover up the extreme fishy taste and though I was still very hungry, I couldn’t finish them. A $ 16 waste of money. I’m not a very picky eater either. The salsa was bland and even the diet coke was flat. I will never go back. There are too many awesome restaurants in Beaufort to go to somewhere that has below marginal food and apathetic waitstaff.
