I could not be happier with the service from Merry Maids. I had a dinner party so had them come the day before for a complete cleaning. One young lady started and worked diligently for several hours before 2 others joined her to finish up. EVERYTHING was cleaned-​every ceiling fan, every bit of baseboard, the top of every door and window, every single knick knack was dusted, every cabinet door was wiped down, the glass shower doors have NEVER looked better and even though I was home the entire time, they were quiet and it was like nobody was even there. Can’t wait for my next cleaning!

It is amazing to now come home to a spotless home and just relax! I love Merry Maids and the job they do weekly for me! Thank you!!!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Merry Maids Beaufort. After a long day at work, returning to a home that sparkles, and I didn’t have to lift a finger to help, makes me so relaxed! I highly recommend them to friends, coworkers and family. Thank you, Merry Maids!

Even though I read the poor review merry maid of Beaufort, I gave them a shot… HUGE waste of money. The girl did not know how to clean, her «boss» came to help her. She showed up an hour and a half late and then the 2.5 hour job turned into 4 hours, with two girl, for one kitchen and two bathes!!! I don’t even know what she possibly could have been doing that whole time, it was very uncomfortable and a huge inconvience. I cancelled the service telling them they did a terrible job and it was not worth the $ 121 and they have talked me twice trying to find out what they did wrong. You dont know how to clean, that’s it, plain and simple. Very annoying. If your looking for a good maid service, I would just ask your neighbors, so you dont have to do through and trials and tribulations I went through.

Avoid! The job was apparently too overwhelming for the young woman they sent out to do a whole house cleaning. She called for help and they made up a story for the owner about there being cat feces all over my house. ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE!
The Field Office Manager came out in June to give me a quote. She looked at everything. No problems mentioned other than I would need to vacuum the kitty litter off the tile floor in the master bath before they got here July 9^th. The reason she said was the maid would have to kneel on the bathroom floor and «ouch». Well, that made perfect sense.
The morning of the cleaning I emptied and washed the litter box, took the bath mat that sits under it outside and beat any excess kitty litter out of it, then vacuumed the tile floor.
Meanwhile, I’d contracted with them (at a substantial price) to clean the entire house in preparation for putting it on the market. Dust, mop, vacuum.
What the young woman did was clean the dual sinks/​vanity in the MB, the toilet and the tub. She didn’t seem to have a problem with cleaning the tub or the toilet in the master bath (she was wearing knee pads). But after lunch she called for help. The woman who gave me the original quote showed up. Together they cleaned the kitchen counter tops, sink and appliances. But then they conferred and said they couldn’t mop the master bathroom floor because of the cat litter. (Remember, it wasn’t a problem when the young woman was cleaning the toilet or the tub. Think: «excuses».)
I have the original paperwork. They were supposed to clean the entire house. At a fairly substantial price, mind you. The problem is, they didn’t do it. Just those few things in the master bath and in the kitchen. Only some surface items in the master bedroom were dusted. None of the the other rooms were touched. They didn’t vacuum anything. The guest bathroom was completely ignored.
They started spouting OSHA regulation crap at me about cat litter, which, when I talked with the owner turned into claims of «cat feces all over the house». Ridiculous! The carpet is white and it IS stained, but not with cat feces! And the woman who gave me the quote saw the entire house when she came over in June.
Then before they left (and when I called to complain) they tried to talk me into calling one of their affiliated (and more expensive) companies to finish cleaning the house! No thank you. Frankly, I think the young woman just wasn’t up to the task. So she called for help, then they made up a story to tell the owner so they could leave.
I have the original paperwork which clearly shows every room they were supposed to clean. It sure didn’t happen that way. Thank god they hadn’t cashed my check yet! Avoid this company. They absolutely do NOT do what they say they’re going to do. Apparently they spend more money on glossy brochures than they spend on hiring people who will actually do the job. And they WILL try to sell you on an affiliated service company (Serv-​Pro). Sorry, that’s not going to happen.
