I came here with my wife for lunch one day. She had said that many of her customers come here and have nothing but good things to say about it. After eating here, we will be joining that demographic.
Lunch menu has many unique and interesting choices. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. They have the shoestring french fries too, which is personally my favorite type of fry. Probably would not come here for a fancy meal, but it’s absolutely perfect for a lunch or a casual dinner.
The interior is small and feels very cramped, especially when full. Parking lot is very small and hard to navigate too. This will be fixed though because they are moving locations soon. Overall, great meal and friendly staff. Can’t wait to see the new location.

A customer took me to this place for lunch. It looked kinda run down so I was a bit concerned. Then I hear my customer talking about them moving to new location and «I hope they don’t lose the feel of this place or the taste of the food». They have a lot of unique sandwiches and it really has a great local feel. The service was good… not crazy good, but good. I had the Liberty Bell and it was great. Sweet Tea was really nice and I’m a southerner so I know.

Had the Mama Mia and the home made chips and it was awesome. The staff were really friendly and the service was quick and very homey. Would definitely check this place out if you’re in town.

We came here for breakfast and I ordered the Green Eggs and Ham with the hash brown casserole. It was an okay meal, my complaint is that they used can spinach. I think it would have been better with fresh spinach. Service was good. I forgot to take pictures!

Unique menu. Not always consistent food though. Got the Guava Lava sandwich the first time I went and loved it! I went the next week and it wasn’t good. The homemade chips dipped in ranch are great. It gets really busy at lunch.

Not being local and wanting to find a great place for lunch we stopped at this gem in SC after reading other wonderful reviews. The business was busy but not overcrowded and we were able to find seating easily and quickly received our very sweet (that’s how I like it) sweet tea. The menu has many different lunch options but my husband and I decided on the «Yo Adrian» and the «Hey Y’all». Both were top notch, couldn’t have asked for anything better. The Hey Y’all was a perfectly cooked, juicy bacon cheeseburger with a fried green tomato on top — mouth watering! The Yo Adrian was an amazingly assembled Italian sandwich with the best meats, cheese, banana peppers, and Italian dressing — perfection! I would definitely recommend this to everybody. Next time we’re out that way we will no doubt stop back in!

The Maui cakes were unbelievably awesome. I’m not really a fan of pancakes but these were so flavourful and deliciously made I really want more. It is a shame they are so far away from where I live but that’s probably a good thing!

Stopped in for a quick dinner while visiting a friend in Beaufort. I was surprised that they were actually open bc the site is listed as closing at 3pm. I got the fried green tomatoes and a salad. The salads are large and can easily be split among 2 people. The tomatoes were just okay. The inside is very cute and the staff was very friendly. If I’m in the area, I would definitely try it again.

I came to this café while on vacation with my family and it was quite lovely. The atmosphere here is very welcoming as well as the staff. The menu offers a decent selection of foods from salads to burgers to sandwiches. They serve your drinks in little mason jars which is very unique and their water is ice cold which is great when you’ve been out in 100 degree weather. They also have baked goods for sale at the register that looked very appetizing. The only downside to this café was that the restroom had no air conditioning so it was pretty hot. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely make a stop here.

Besides stopping in for a quick sweet tea to go, we had never eaten at Red Rooster, although we are locals. I had the Pear Necessity salad and it was, besides being big enough for two meals, the best salad I have ever had! Very fresh ingredients and the flavors of the grilled chicken, pears, feta cheese, greens and homemade dressing worked very well together. Service was attentive but not hovering (I hate that, don’t you?) and atmosphere was friendly and bustling (but not chaotic). My husband had the biscuits and gravy, even though it was after 12; his half order (one biscuit, split and served open faced with sausage gravy on top) was plenty for a meal and he pronounced it «very, very, very good» (high praise from him.). We will return; looking forward to trying more items from their very extensive menu.

The service was a little off but they were extremely busy. When we first got there we thought about leaving but waited it out. We are so glad we did. The food was amazing! We all had breakfast and there was NOTHING we didn’t like. The hash brown cassarole is a must have. It’s family owned and most of the people working there are related which is nice to find now a days. Next time we are in town we really wanna try the homemade «nachos» they looked awesome!
