Thank you thank you! Went there with a torn quad and you X-ray! Gave me meds and told me I was doing the right right treatment at home as well. On my way to recovery!

We took our 10 month old baby here to get checked out while on a road-trip driving through Texas from out of state. We were slightly panicked and exhausted. The staff was very nice and professional. The wait was about 15mins. The rooms were clean. We were in and out in no time with some good news. And she even got a balloon. It was a very good experience as far as urgent care goes.

Feeling bad I had to drag myself into the doctors office. I was so impressed with the staff from the reception area to the medical technician and the doc. I was in and out in less than an hour. When you have the flu you don’t want to hang out too long so I definitely recommend this place.

The only reason I went to this place when I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular doctor was because they came to my employers health fair this year. Other than that I wouldn’t know about them… now I wish they had not shown up to the health fair. The name says it all folks, well sort of. First of all, getting in and out like you would expect from an «express» anything is not the case here. I brought my 8 month old in to get checked out, he had been throwing up at the daycare, didn’t want to eat, etc. I wrote all of this down on the form they have you fill out. Then after waiting for an hour, I was finally called… to the front desk to pay $ 40. Then I sat back down to wait another 15 minutes, only to be called back to a room where the«nurse» took his temperature and asked about allergies. Then she left me in another room for 15 – 20 more minutes when finally I had enough, and asked for the office manager and demanded my money back so we could leave. «Oh, but you’re next, see the sign on the door says so» she said, «the doctors were reviewing your chart». People, this so-called chart was merely the form I filled out when I came in, it literally had three things on it, how could that take 15 – 20 minutes?! A Nurse Practitioner, not a Doctor, came in and looked in his nose, ears, throat, squeezed his stomach, wrote out a prescription for nausea medication that is generally reserved for cancer patients, and said he was fine. Two days later, after finally getting an appointment with his regular doctor, we found out that he was getting over a virus that he apparently had for a few days and was exhibiting the symptoms of the body’s fight against it. Great job catching that Doctors Express! This establishment needs to do a better job of time management, patient to provider time ratio management in favour of more time spent together, and they should tell you up front there is a slim to none chance that a Doctor will be seeing you. This place is comprised of a group of nurses and practitioners that are qualified to diagnose a problem, order treatment, medication, etc, but they can’t treat you. They also certainly do not seem overly concerned with the caring part of the health CARE business, everyone was cold and impersonal, even with a baby as handsome as mine: o) The«Express» part of the name you think means getting in and through to a provider, not the quick turn-around you get once you’re in the room to be seen.
