Excellent Pizza! Great service all bundled in an industrial chic setting! Great place for a date night!

We love Crown Pizza! Every pizza we’ve had is delicious, but the Margherita, Supreme, and Tree Hugger are our go to orders. The Peroni on tap is the perfect touch.

Good food. Good staff. My waiter coco introduced me to the place, how everything works, overview of the food and beverages. New to Beaumont but I feel welcomed with this place. Dig in y’all!

The sauce here is awesome. It tastes freshly made. The crust for the pizza is also pretty amazing. It’s thin, crispy and delicious. I got the tree hugger with no cheese. Loved the fresh arugula on top! Combo of the thin crust and fresh toppings made me eat almost the whole thing without feeling heavy and bleh like I would with other pizzas. Gnocchi is great too!

Best pizza in this entire area by far. The Shangri la is my all time fave but I’ve tried a few and they are all delicious. Wonderful atmosphere

My second time eating here, the first was the shangri la, and now the pork lover, and my conclusion is, it’s decent. The interior is very cool, but that’s truly the best part. I’m not saying the pizza is bad but sixteen dollars for a thin crust slightly larger than personal pie has got me slightly in my feelings/pocketbook. The idea of the pork lover was tantalizing, but not well executed. There truly is no sweet and savory flavor combination, and there was way too much cheese on it for a «fusion» type pizza. I understand the whole Calabrian chili thing for pizza, but then again, not on this pizza. My whole problem with this pizza was that I expected more from the peanut sauce, but it was truly underwhelming. Thank god for sriracha. Overall, less cheese is more for the pork lover, and then maybe that will allow your peanut sauce to stand out and the bottom of the crust to not be soggy.

My wife and I love this place! Sure this is a «pizza place» but we go when we want a lil something different! We jokingly refer to it as «Hipster Pizza»… With such a unique menu you’ll have plenty options(Boubain pizza, cheese burger with fries pizza, frog legs and etoufee pizza, bbq chicken pizza, peanut sauce pulled pork and calabrian chilis pizza, etc etc etc…). The toppings and cheeses are generous… and oddly we found that the brussel sprouts rock on a pizza! The beer is always super cold and the staff is alway in a good mood! I would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for the desserts… this area needs work and leaves much to be desired. But as far as unique pizza, beer(and even the kale salad!)…THIS. PLACE. ROCKS.

Amazing pizza. Our order was ready in no time, and the food was really good. Some of the pizzas are a bit pricey. I think their most expensive one is $ 20, but there are also some more affordable($ 8). I think this would be a great place to hang out. It’s small and very nice looking inside. And the people that work there are very friendly. My only complaint would be parking. They have a very tiny area to park, backing out would be annoying on a busy day.

The restaurant is small with a great atmosphere and the best pizza in Beaumont! A pickup window outside the restaurant makes picking up pizza to go easy. The Shangri-la and the Cheeburger are phenomenal but every pizza I’ve tried has been great. Do yourself a favor and grab a ice cream sandwich for dessert!

There are reviews which looks ONLY at the food as presented, uncolored(supposedly) be the reviewer’s preferences and/or prejudices. Then again, as alluded to above, it follows there are reviews which are colored by preferences. I really try to hold the two worlds apart when looking at food, its presentation and the ambience in which it is presented. It is appreciated that a review is then as a layer cake. This stratum of the dining experience is usually summed into a single number. Here we go. My beloved wife and I are anxious to experience, for the first time, Crown Pizza. Magical hour; far past eventide and onto the dark brown glow of night. You know the feeling. The milieu was impeccable. Swiftly seated. Promptly greeted then, with drinks appearing as if conjured. If you’ve dined«in» at Crown, seating is at a premium so then to be at a table quickly is a rarity and above all, most special. The positives are adding up faster that the cost at a gas pump when the price was over three dollars a gallon. Cha-Ching. Sitting anywhere provides a ringside seat to observe the pizza preparation. I promise NOT to describe the process as it would fill several paragraphs, which is certainly not germane to this review. Now, the pizza. I am obliged to describe the components so as to help you understand that the sum of the parts DONOT create a greater whole. Crust is the base on which the edifice of the Platonic PIzza rests. It is a «crowning» achievement. It is composed by the master of the oven, artfully working each pie with his peel, rotating, inspecting and then, removed to his cutting table, hot and bubbling. Here is where the idea of a thin, crisp crust meets its foil. The superabundance of toppings. The pizza we chose was a «make em yourself» version, Italian Sausage, garlic and black olive. Rather spartan, I believe. Too much and too much again. The amount of cheese alone would easily cover another pie. The splendid crust cannot breathe so as to maintain the slightest degree of rigidity. Same applies to the quantity of the sausage. I do, however, very much appreciate the crude tomato sauce. Chunks of San Marzano tomato provided a good balance of fruit, sweet and acidity. Unfortunately, The crust wilted and sagged into the background whereupon all hope of a balanced pizza(of taste and texture) vanished. Can Crown produce a 5 Star Pizza? Most likely. However, It will require the patron carefully, judiciously order the components to produce a perfect, balanced pie. Hands on approach, as it were. Otherwise, you’ll likely receive a mountain of toppings burying a delicate(delicious?) crust.

OK, Crown Pizza is the best pizza in Southeast Texas and significantly far beyond. It is also extremely unique, trendy, did I say delicious? So now that is out of the way. Our go-to pizzas are the Shangri-La, the Vodka Pie and the Italian Stallion. My wife and I have tried pretty much all of them, but we had steered clear of the Mr Voodoo because the notion of crawfish étouffée on a pizza topped with frogs legs seemed a bit off-putting and over the top. Well, we were wrong, very wrong. While we marveled at the flavor combinations of our go-to pies, this was only because they«sounded good». This one did not. Nevertheless, taking a pair of 20-somethings(son and GF) with us today revealed that even the bizarre and strange can be spectacular. The Mr Voodoo pie, in my minds eye, would show up at the table looking like a mound of Pappadeaux’s crawfish étouffée on rice served on a pizza round. This could not be further from the truth. The étouffée is more like a thin, delicate sauce dotted with plump little shelled crawfish. Other than overwhelming the pie, the étouffée gave it a delicious cajun-base to build on with sausage(shades of Gumbo!) mozzarella, green onions and tiny rounds of spicy serrano peppers. We ordered it with the optional frog legs, which supported the well-known data bite: tastes like chicken! Anyway, ignore your sensibilities and go for it. These pizzas are not to be believed.

Went to Crown Pizza only once, and it was a good experience. The food was good and plentiful. This is what I call custom pizza, and not like what you would experience from Dominoes(Arggghhhh~), or Papa Johns(my favorite pizza). I will probably find my way back here sometime in the future!

First timer. I have heard about this for awhile now but haven’t found the time to try it till today. I went there with a party of 7 including 2 kids. We took up 2 tables. Just a reminder that this place isn’t ideal for a large party. The place is very tiny but quaint. There are seating outside as well if you prefer. The waiter greeted us and gave us some recommendations. She was very friendly and welcoming. We decided to order the THETHREECHEESEPIZZA(half of it, we added pepperoni and bacon) which is a hand crushed San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, provolone, romano cheese, the HAWAIIANHOTTIE which is a hand crushed San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, canadian bacon, pineapple and jalapeños, and last we ordered the MRVOODOO which is a house made louisiana étouffée sauce, crawfish tails, italian fennel sausage, shredded mozzarella, green onions, slivers of derange pepper, topped with the three cajun-spiced fried frog legs. My favorite out of the ones we ordered is the HAWAIIANHOTTIE. It wasn’t not salty at all and has just the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The MRVOODOO was a bit salty for me but it was also delicious. The waiter was nice enough to bring us extra frog legs because she said they ones that were given to us was a bit small which was nice of her. Overall, I loved this place. The wait wasn’t long and the food came out pretty quick. Although I did think it was a bit pricey. Our bill totaled to about $ 60 for 3 pizzas and a beer. Having said that, I will be coming back just because the pizza was awesome.

So I’m one to always give my honest opinion regarding a new restaurant. I came to this pizza place because it had good reviews. The place is small but well originated. The pizza was incredible, thin crust but not crunchy thing. It was, perfect nice music and they have beer for the younger people. I completely recommend this place it’s simply delicious.

I was born and raised in this town, and am so happy we have Crown Pizza. I had The Mamie tonight — crispy crust with feta, artichoke hearts, pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes, two kinds of mozzarella and covered with spinach. It was absolutely scrumptious! Hot and oozy and messy, but not so much that it made the crust soggy. Just perfect. This was a takeout order. Sometimes, that can be hit or miss. Not at Crown. She got it right. And the guy who had it ready and served as cashier was nice and friendly and eager to please. Sometimes that is lacking at a lot of places around town. One of the reasons for the five stars. I was just going to have two slices and save the rest for tomorrow, but that third slice just called my name. And there’s still more for tomorrow. Thanks Crown!

My 200th review! I was looking for something special to write my 200th review on. I looked through my pictures on stuff I had not written yet and I saw the pictures for Crown pizza and knew this was the special place that deserved my 200th review! Crown pizza is absolutely the best place I have eaten in Beaumont, TX. It is almost like crown pizza got lost on it’s way to Austin and just settled in Beaumont. This place is Austin cool if you know what I mean. The building is made up of 3 shipping containers and the whole place is kind of small. It definitely has a cute, hip, modern pizza joint vibe going on. The atmosphere is just one reason why this place is literally as good as it gets. The pizza here is amazing — no wait better than amazing, it has more flavor then Flavor Flav and he invented flavor! So you get it everything here is delectable! My first visit we went with some friends and we sat outside on the patio as it was a beautiful day. We ordered the Pork Love, Shangri La and Pepperoni pizzas. The shangri la was like a peanut curry thai dish and the pork love was kinda like a spicy egg roll with pork. They were both uniquely delicious. The pepperoni as simple as it was might have been the best pepperoni pizza I have ever had! The crust on each pizza was perfect — not too thin or thick. On my second visit here we sat inside and ordered the Chee-burger Chee-burger pizza. Whoa! This pizza was like a cheeseburger with french fries on top. It was unlike anything that I had ever had in a pizza and I am in love with it! I can’t wait to go back and order it again! Finally on both visits I ordered dessert because dessert if the best meal of course! My first visit here I had the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich. I enjoyed the hell of this sandwich and have literally dreamed about having it again. My second visit they were out of the ice cream sandwiches — understandably since they are so good, so I ordered the brownie al la mode. It was good too but I preferred the ice cream sandwich. Crown Pizza is my favorite pizza place. I am sad that they are all the way in Beaumont as I am in Austin. This little pizza joint definitely competes with the best of what Austin has to offer as far as East Side Pies, Via 313, Homeslice and Bufalina. I guess I can consider myself lucky that I get to come to Beaumont as often as I do to treat myself to some Crown Pizza!

I am self proclaimed pizza snob. I’m usually not a fan of gimmicky pizza places. I mean I like a good bbq chicken pizza as much as the next guy but most of the time simple is better. The 1st time I came here I got a Margherita style pizza and a chopped Italian salad. To be honest I was somewhat underwhelmed by the pizza and Margherita is my fave. The chopped salad was great though. Lots of pepperoni, oviles and feta cheese. The place itself intrigued me despite my less than steller pizza. It was somewhat hipster-rific with it’s shipping container structure, friendly yet bearded/pierced employee and crazy menu. The«gimmicky» pizza menu was like no other I had seen. Their take on the BBQ chicken pizza had the usual bbq sauce, chicken, onion and bacon but added jalapenos, fresh cilantro and fried onion strings. I had to try it. Gimmick 1, Gabe 0. The ‘BBQ Yard Bird’ pizza was amazing. So many flavors having having a battle royal in my mouth. The cilantro choked slammed the onion strings and the tangy bbq sauce put the jalapenos in a figure four leg lock for the win! I cam back again and again. Next the ‘Pork Love’-Peanut sauce, pulled pork, carrots, bean sprouts and Calabrian chilis. This was less like pizza and more like Thai food. Once my palate got use to that it was sinus clearing goodness. ‘Sunday Supper’ has Molasses syrup, plack eyed peas, collared greens, peaches and chicken. It’s like soul food meets leftsovers. A sweet delicious treat. I then retried the Margherita and it was way better this time. My work travels will eventually bring me back to Beaumont and I will ‘mustard’ up the courage to try the ‘Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger(yes it has mustard and pickles on it) or the Mr. Voodoo(a cajun style pizza with or without FROGLEGS!). If you are in Beaumont find this little gem, I’m glad I did.
