Mommy Dearest

My first visit to Mommy Dearest was this afternoon when I accompanied my future sister-​in-​law to a wedding dress fitting.
I had always assumed with the name, «Mommy Dearest», that this was some sort of upscale baby or maternity store. I could not be more wrong! There was not one baby item in sight!
This place has a wide selection of beautiful wedding dresses (they carry Maggie Sottero), mother of the bride outfits, prom dresses, lots of accessories, and they have shoes, too!
The saleswoman was very nice and helpful. There is also an alterations lady on site, but you should call at least two weeks in advance to make an appointment with her.
You can’t really see this store as you’re driving on Dowlen. It’s located in a strip mall which is on the other side (almost behind) Gino’s and it’s next to Florida Tans.
