Happy again! Never disappointed after my visit with Ambrosia! She is sensational and after I leave I feel refreshed and beautiful!

October 2015—
2 months later; I was in town for a HS homecoming game and thought I’d get a touch up. Since the first cut in August from shoulder length to above the collar – was shorter than I’ve ever worn it and a brand new look/​cut for me — it just needed a little tweaking.
I wanted my 2 front cow licks to lay right after blow drying & the sides (by my ears) not be so heavy (I showed her)
She seemed distracted because I shouldn’t feel rushed – and that I don’t have her undivided attention — but, I did.
The tweak? To «me», my hair looks exactly the same – doesn’t flow. I was in and out of salon in 20 min tops.
Not sure, I will go back. Sad. Disappointed.

A lot more pricey than I’m used to but they fixed my terrible dye job and gave me a really nice cut. The people were very nice and helpful when finding a color. I would go back but only when I have saved up to really get my hair cut.

My previous color job from a salon out of town was way too dark for me & I had to get it fixed immediately, luckily I was able to get an appt with Katie & she was able to lighten it with just a toner, no bleach, no color, less damage, yay! Simple, quick, and easy fix. All of the staff is really friendly and helpful, thank yall ! Oh be sure to get the correct address, my maps took me to an old building and caused me to almost miss my appointment.

Tracey, the owner, is an excellent business owner and stylist. She has been cutting my hair for the past 15 years and I’ve never been disappointed. In fact, I would drive in to Beaumont all through college and even when I first moved to Houston, just to get my hair cut. I have tried many other stylist over the years but no one is a better than her. She has done a superb job training her staff. I would chose her stylists over any of the high end salon stylist here in Houston.

Jazzmin did an amazing job with my hair! I didn’t care too much for the reception manager? She was a bit snooty but I can look past that for a great hair service!

Went to the On Stage on South Dowlen for a brow wax. The administrative staff (booking, receptionists) were fantastic. Dana did a fine job on my brow wax. The place is clean and professional.
So why the three stars? Well, I usually get my brows done for $ 9 at various cheapie nail salons. When I called and the booking agent said it was $ 15, I asked her what the difference is. She said something about licensing and, also, that nail salons redip their little wooden sticks so you can get other people’s bacteria and it will cause you to break out. Well, I’ve never broken out from a brow wax, but I had wanted to check out On Stage because I’m in the market for a hair stylist, so I went for it. Dana was friendly, applied this weird ice thing to make the redness go down, and then a fancy powder. So that was different — usually when I leave a nail salon by brows are all kind of red and I’m not suitable for company for 20 or 30 minutes. Not the case here, so there’s that.
BUT… I broke out for the first time in my life from a brow wax. I’d blame myself, except that they touted their superior (pricier) methods as *reducing* the likelihood of that happening. Not sure what happened, but kinda put off by that. By the time you’ve considered tip, I just can’t pay the extra $ 7 if I’m going to break out, when I never have before.

On Stage I is a must. I have been here for haircut, color, highlights, brow wax, Brazilian, mani/​pedi. The staff is very professional and always friendly. For hair services there’s a price range based on the expertise of each stylist. If you’re a Brazilian first timer– Dana is the best and puts you right at ease. Highly recommended.
