John seemed like a nice man that wouldn’t take advantage of a young woman needing her house painted. Boy was I wrong! I was charged $ 2,900 to have my house painted and have some damage/wood rot repaired. I thought it seemed like a fair price and it looked great at first but to my surprise, the paint started to peel within the first year of having it painted and the areas that had been repaired started to pull away from the house. After calling someone else to take a look, I was told that there wasn’t any prep work done(ie no sanding or primer) and the wood that was replaced wasn’t attached with the proper nails/screws. I would be VERY cautious if you call this painter… I ended up having to pay more the second time I had my house painted because of all the work that needed to be fixed that was done incorrectly by Richardson painting.
