Thrift stores come in two flavors: the big guys like Goodwill and Salvation Army, and the small shops that benefit local concerns. Treasure House is one of the second group, and has a unique personality all its own. Plenty of womens and kids clothing spanning the store when you first walk in, and the rest in the store to the right. Electronics, CDs, books, dress patterns, furniture, decorations, and whatever else comes in. I was so disappointed; I had visited treasure House a few years ago and picked up a record or two; I visited today, and they have no more records. They have cassettes and VCR tapes, but no records??? Wide selection of books, though, far more than TVs and computer equipment. I didn’t look at the clothing, I was there for the records… Worth a stop in if you’re looking for a dress, a book, a picture, or just to get out of the rain.

Lots of stuff for sale, fair prices but they have great sales on things. Over all good place to look for random things! Worst part was they had a guy that worked there who was trying to hard to be a little diva and had attitude!

This is a wonderful place that carries both traditional thrift store findings and antique findings. I always manage to find something unusual here that surprises me into a purchase. I love their antique furniture selection and it’s at a fair price. Expect to find some unusual items here, i. e dental chair from early 1900’s. Since this place is more of a neighborhood stop, the stock may not turn as quickly as I would like it to, but it’s definitely a place that keeps me checking back to see what’s new. Some items have fixed prices; consignment items may or may not be negotiated as well.
