Applebee’s

The food was cooked, that’s the best I can say. If you like medium rare salmon, don’t come here. If you like steak you’ll be disappointed with the toughness of their sirloin. The waitress didn’t know anything about the menu and came back to the table to ask us how to pronounce the wine we requested (there are only six choices). Avoid this place if you’re looking for a good meal

This is the only Applebee’s location that i will go to. All the others disappoint in comparison. I even set up my last book club here. A party of 13 and we had excellent service. Our waiter was on the ball! Not only was he quick to get our orders, but he also humored us and made us laugh. It was a great experience for everyone and the food here is always done up to their standards. I love the quesadilla burger and their strawberry daiquiri. And if you save room for dessert, get one of the Sundae Shooters. Great, friendly service here. Great food. And it’s all at a very affordable price.

Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad. This goes with the service more than the food but they both hit or miss frequently. We’ve tried going at night and weekends and during the day. They could do a lot better. Their servers need training on how to check on their tables and not just sit around chatting to one another rolling silverware. There is one really good server and I can’t remember her name but she has long hair and is always smiling and attentive. If another restaurant comes into town that has the same type of menu, these guys are going to struggle for sure. It’s a shame that they don’t try to improve themselves.

Not Bad. The food’s pretty good for type of restaurant. I like their shrimp and their burgers are light years better than Eat ‘n Park a few doors away. I do get a kick out of the staff trying to connect by «recognizing» me as I go there infrequently. Next time, I’m gonna tell them they probably see me on tv. :)

The food is hit or miss. Service is usually good, except the wait staff seems to fool around a lot. Our server last time forgot to put in our order, and this time, she was flirting with the male waiters while we were waiting for her to come get our bill. Atmosphere is nice though, and the bar drinks are good. However, we usually only go because it’s close to us, and we somehow always have gift cards. Otherwise, I doubt we’d go as often as we do.

Yuk! High prices for mediocre food at best. Will never return. Wait staff has no idea what the prices are and there is always a surprise in the bill

This is a standard Applebee’s. It wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. It was just what we wanted it to be. I’d go there again without a problem, but I’m not wanting to go rushing back.

Their Steak and Potato Salad ain’t a bad way to eat healthier. I really didn’t want to come here and had no idea what to get, so that’s what I randomly ordered. It has spinach, red peppers, onions, steamed potatoes, sirloin steak medallions, basil, a creamy vinaigrette, and hard-​boiled eggs. That being said, it was favorably reminiscent of a spinach and bacon salad my mother makes with a warm dressing.
The Maple Butter Blondie is one sizzling dame of a dessert that comes to your table spittin’ like a fajita yet goes down easy like the best pie a la mode. Chopped walnuts are scattered about the cast iron plate, a scoop of ice cream melts atop the chocolate-​deprived brownie, and a warm metal cup of a white, liquid custard called a «maple butter sauce» sits off to the side waiting to be poured onto it all. Applebee’s does desserts well.
As we sat and ate on a rainy Saturday night, loud techno music played and the manager awkwardly sang karaōke in an attempt to liven up the clientele, which leaned heavily towards elderly people and families. Applebee’s will never be a nightclub. A memo needs to be sent out.
