One visit review: Was there for a Blues for Food event 2 weeks ago. The service for bar and food was stretched thin. Place was not set up as well as it could be. Lighting left a lot to be desired. But… interesting with the staff were excellent in all regards. This is a small performance/music venue with potential. They have a variety of shows(music, karaōke, magic…) throughout the week. Something for everyone. They might want to focus on a subset of this range to create a repeat audience. f8 and be there.

My friends and I went there on Saturday, June 14th. As we needed to use the restroom, we found to our surprise that the ladies room was nearby, but the men’s room was nowhere to be found. Turning to our left, we saw a second well-lit bar through the door, and we entered to locate the men’s room. We located the men’s room. As my colleagues were using the men’s room in the bar, a lady who did not identify herself proceeded to inform us that«you guys shouldn’t be in here». I mentioned to her that we could not find the men’s room near the ladies room and that there were no signs to locate the men’s room. She said that the were signs posted. She said that we could finish our business. If I were running a business such as this, and I didn’t want people entering a room, I would 1. Turn off the lights or 2. Lock the door or 3. Put up a Closed sign. Needless to say the interaction was poor, especially for a new establishment, and we chose to spend our money elsewhere. Also, would one rather go to the Alpine Inn, which was its previous name, or The Loft?

The Loft is all new! There’s a huge music/party venue, great food and a wonderful staff. They recently brought a chef on-board to spruce up the menu and it shows! There’s weekly entertainment like bands, DJ’s and Karaōke. Not to mention pool, darts and tons of big-screen TVs. This place is pure awesome!
