First time there. Pizza was really good. They really improved the atmosphere. All the food coming out looked good. Definitely going back. Bartender was great!!!

After waiting 30 minutes for a table, and then an hour for the food we were already fairly put off by the experience. The food was so-so. We started off with«Bruschetta» I say that in quotations because it was thick cut bread not toasted lacquered with a melted butter, and garlic solution, and on the side were 2 ramekins of chopped tomatoes and onion. ummmm yea. the entrée I ordered, Fruitti Del Mar was OK. Taste was good but poorly executed. I couldn’t tell if the shellfish was fresh or frozen. A tad rubbery. The pasta was just a bit under done, and it had whole cloves of garlic swimming in a sea of olive oil. Over priced as well. For me and my 11 year old daughter, who ordered from the kids menu was $ 49 before tip. All in all I think they need work. There are great Italian restaurants in the area and more within a short drive to compete with.

I’m giving this place three stars. The atmosphere is nice. Clean, modern, and on the river. The food was ok. I got the pizza which is always awesome at the other location(Mario’s in Beaver on third) but it wasn’t as good here. My crust was soggy which is almost impossible in a brick oven… but it was. And it was cold. I had to ask them to put it back in the oven to heat it up and maybe get some crisp to the crust. They did kindly do it without making me feel too awkward asking, and I appreciated that. My fellow diner got a chicken salad. It was«ok» in her words. Nothing special. We did ask what«ribbon fries» were as they accompanied many items on the menu and were on the salad she ordered. Our server explained them as a spiral fry and recommend not getting them on the salad because«they aren’t very good on the salad» however my friend liked the idea of spiral fries and got them. When the salad came out, they were more like a potato chip. Not a fry. They weren’t very good. Too hard and thin. Maybe by themselves they would be ok, but even then, they were really hard. I would recommend going with the hand cut fries instead, which apparently is an option as well. Finally, the service was bad. I hate saying that cause I’ve served places and try to be understanding, but it was. Our server, while somewhat friendly, seemed to be the only server and she was unable to keep up with the four tables of two at lunch on a Monday. We waited a long time for our food, drinks, the check, everything. Also, I felt like there were a couple comments made from the staff that were negative about the food…(this isn’t very good on this, and I wouldn’t recommend that, etc) and nothing makes you not want to eat somewhere more than the staff not even liking it. The restaurant is new so I’m sure they are working out the kinks. I would try it again but hope it’s better next time.
