Gravity Spa

Gravity Spa is the best place in Dayton to get a massage. And they have float tanks! Rare to find this cool opportunity in a smaller area. Def a must try!
They have any easy to use online booking site (which I love!) and super friendly staff. I’ve had a couples massage there, which of course was excellent! And I’ve continued to go floats and massages.
Tony (aka Anthony) is the man! He’s super passionate about his craft and knows the human body! He’s great for a nice relaxing massage or to really work through knots, stiffness, etc.
The building looks like it could possibly be an old apartment and its tucked away in a neighborhood, but don’t let that fool you. Inside is dope and relaxing.
Don’t sleep on Gravity Spa!

After our initial, somewhat mediocre experience at Gravity, Jules and I attempted to look elsewhere for a new massage parlor. However, after a failed experiment with GroupOn, which nearly cost us a fair amount of money, we decided to give Gravity another run.
And, really? I’m glad we did.
I addressed some of the issues that I’d had in my earlier massage and the staff were quick to respond appropriately and make things better this time around. In this massage session, my masseuse worked the areas I’d asked for thoroughly and powerfully. In addition, after working my hips for a bit, she noted some irregularity – particularly after her massage motion actually popped my hip joint! – that she recommended having a chiropractor check out. I’m still hunting for a chiropractor, but her honesty and knowledge were refreshing.
I’ll definitely be back to Gravity; hopefully, that’ll be sooner, rather than later!

Went for a massage. Place was located in an odd neighborhood setting made me think I was going to the wrong location.
Upon entering the Spa the vibe was totally chill. Staff all spoke softly and made me very comfortable. Massage therapist Angie did a great job. She used just the right amount of pressure and really helped me relax. The 60 minutes simply flew by and had me wanting a longer time.
Customer service was excellent ambiance was nice once inside the building and the staff was incredible.
I would highly recommend Gravity Spa.
Next visit I want to try the flotation device.

My husband and I celebrated our 5^th anniversary by getting a couple’s deep tissue massage. It is located in an office space of an old an old apartment complex so it’s a little odd looking when you first drive up. The inside is nicely decorated and definitely sets the spa mood. The staff is very friendly and very communicative. My husband setup the appointment about a month ago and we receieved an email reminder and a phone call reminder the day before. We were greeted by name when we walked in which was nice. The massage itself definitely did the trick. I held a lot of tension in multiple areas and I was a pile of goo afterwards. I’d call it a good masage I my book. I’m looking at coming back to try the float tanks, yoga and hot stone massage.

Very clean, the ambiance is peaceful and the therapists are phenomenal! Don’t be alarmed when traveling there, IT IS LOCATED IN A NEIGHBORHOOD but the business itself is in a building so no worries. Ask for Anthony, he is respectful, patient, attentive, and kind! Definitely will become a regular! I FEEL GREAT!!!

This may be one of the most random locations for a spa but it works. A friend and I were up for an adventure so booked floats and went searching a local neighborhood for Gravity Spa. Besides being in a residential neighborhood it was not hard to find. They have done excellent job inside making it comfy. The staff we met were nice and professional. Plan to go back sometime soon.
As for the float and what it is… it was great, very relaxing. I was nervous but it doesn’t take long to get use to float chamber. I thought maybe I wouldn’t like chamber door closed but I closed it initially because it felt drafty then I adjusted to darkness and it added to the calm. Next time planning to book a package and add a massage.
Update: went for a massage and float this week. I really enjoyed the combo and found it very relaxing. Staff was friendly and professional.

Great experience! I have back issues and deal with anxiety as well. But after I tried an hour in the tank I felt great! It’s been over a week and my back is still feeling good. I definitely recommend this place!

I had my first hot stone massage today with Mari and it was fabulous! I will definitely repeat this experience as often as possible. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I walked in the door.
My husband and I drove up from Kentucky. He has become obsessed with floating so we try to come here on a monthly basis. :) I decided to treat myself to a massage and can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend Gravity Spa.

This place is great, and the staff is so friendly! I drive up from central KY and its become a monthly ritual for me. I only go to float, but it’s definitely worth the drive. I like that the location is in a residential neighborhood. It feels like a really safe place. A place where you can go for a walk in the neighborhood to recollect your thoughts after floating. The prices are really reasonable and booking online is so easy. They have a great website. My only complaint is that I wished I lived a few hours closer. :)

Gravity Spa is tucked in a residential like neighborhood and offers some unique experiences. I had a massage there and will be going back for a float in the near future.
Angie is a great therapist, don’t let her youthful face fool you. She did a good job with the deep tissue massage and managed to work out most of the kinks in my back. The staff there is super friendly and they make you feel welcome. So please give this place a try!

I went for my first float last night and it was GREAT! It was a totally new experience for me and I was pleasantly surprised. My +1 and I both got the one hour float and a massage. Every part of the experience was wonderful.
I am claustrophobic and despite that I was able to enjoy the experience. The staff was wonderful and understanding about this and made a few suggestions that truly worked! By the end of the session I was floating with the door completely closed and felt quite comfortable and relaxed. Be warned… they have some serious salt up in that bad boy so make sure you don’t make the mistake I did. Do not open your purse to grab something right out of the soak. You will end up with flakes of salt on your purse and virtually every place else. Make use of their shower and enjoy the products the supply for you.
The massage was the BEST part of the experience. I LOVED it! My +1 and I are both massage connoisseurs which makes us both very picky. We both agreed that these massages were in our top 2… EVER! My therapist was Angie and she was awesome. Only drawback… my table was not heated. After the soak and shower it is a little chilly. Table warmers would be a nice addition. Angie did hook me up with an extra blanket mid-​massage that did hit the spot.
The only drawback? and it is certainly not much of a drawback… the shortest float they offer is an hour. Although some people soak for hours my ADD got the best of me and I was ready to get out about 45 minutes into the float… at least for the first time anyway. If I were them (and I am certainly not that cool) I would do a lil intro to floating special. 30 minutes would have been perfect as a little «get your feet wet» intro to floating. Yes, stupid pun intended.
We will most definitely being back. Don’t let the lack of reviews stop you from trying it out. I was skeptical at first but it is the best decision I have made in a long time! Go float!
