maybe its a beavercreek or fairfield commons problem but there are crazy lines people wait in for their food around here!!! zero complaints with the food or workers, just the full parking lot and line to the door. even in st. louis, people don’t like st. louis bread company(panera) enough to wait 30+ minutes for their food. i guess the lunch crowd has it figured out or they wouldn’t get back to work on time. plan to go away from a traditional meal time or branch out a little, dayton. don’t flock to the chains.

Craving broccoli cheddar soup today so I stopped here for a late lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich to go along with my soup and of course a frosted cookie. I really like this location, the food was excellent. Recently I had questioned whether the quality of Panera’s food had been slipping. The last three sandwiches I had(at two different locations) were noticeably skimpy on ingredients and the soup didn’t seem the same. Even the baked goods I have had recently didn’t seem to be the usual quality. However, I am happy to say that everything I ordered today was delicious. Soup: creamy and full of broccoli and other veggies. Grilled cheese on whole grain with red onion and tomato: melted and perfectly toasted. Frosted cookie: fresh and quite tasty. My only issue is that all the tables were dirty when I dined in at 3:00 pm. A pet peeve of mine is walking around the dining room, carrying my food, searching for a clean table. An employee did come out and wipe the tables before I left, so maybe they had experienced a busier lunch than usual.

I have a love/hate relationship with Panera. Sometimes I binge on the food here 3 – 4 times a week for about 6 months, then I want nothing to do with the restaurant for the other 6 months of the year. With new seasonal soup & sandwich options, I can’t get enough of Panera this time of year! Let’s start with the turkey apple cheddar sandwich… amazing! The sweetness of the apple blends perfectly with the sharpness of the cheddar. It’s served on a delicious cranberry bread. I call it Thanksgiving in a sandwich. The butternut squash soup is velvety smooth with a rich earthy flavor — perfect on a cool fall day! You’re alright, Panera. I’ll see you again tomorrow!

I worked at this location years ago and know that it’s a pretty clean and fine place to eat(not that things can’t change in 10 years). It is a manager training location so things are usually done by the book. Food wise, you always know what you’re going to get when you go into a Panera. It’s also nice that whatever bakery items aren’t purchased by the end of the night are donated to different charities– it was sometimes HUGE bags of breads and sweets. Parking is sometimes limited and you end up having to park in a neighboring parking lot.

You really can’t go wrong with Panera. Everything here is fresh and tasty. I absolutely love their soups. I have yet to try one that I didn’t like. My favorites are the baked potato, chicken noodle, and broccoli cheddar(in that order). My beverage of choice is the green tea. The bagels are always delicious, and they have the best cream cheese too. The new rapid pick up is so convenient and easy to use. Download the app, order your food, and when you get there it’s ready to go. No waiting in line! This particular location seems to be a bit busier than others, but they are still quick and efficient.

Panera is a great place to do your homework and grab a decent and quick bite to eat. This particular location is very clean, friendly, and accommodating. I ordered a bbq chicken flatbread and tomato soup. The bbq chicken sandwich was good and the tomato soup was great! I had to go back and order a few more pieces of bagette but other than that, I enjoyed my meal. This is my go-to place for WiFi, second only to Starbucks’ convenience.

Love this place! Sometimes the staff is a little overwhelmed due to the amount of traffic. It happens.

Food is always great. However not the best experience tonight. Went there to study around 7 pm(they are open until 930) and at 815 the workers started cleaning, getting ready to close. I wouldn’t have noticed if they wouldn’t have VACUUMEDRIGHTNEXTTOMYTABLE and began sitting chairs up. The noise became too distracting and I went home. Not the best atmosphere for somewhere that promotes a work/study environment. I’d understand if it was closer to closing time but over an hour away from closing is a little excessive.

Awesome healthy food for all your taste buds, but we all know that! This place is always crowded but the service is super fast. I have always enjoyed the food here and would come back often. The only downfall is it’s sometimes hard to find a seat.

This location is always crowded. Since it is so crowded it lacks the personal touch with the service. Still, it is Panera and the food is always fresh and good.

In fairness, I decided to give this Panera another try. I think it has improved quite a bit. The customer service is much better now and there are some employees that have been there for a while which gives the place some continuity. The parking still sucks so now I just park next door even with the«I WILLTOWYOURVEHICLEAAAHH!» signs. I could care less. The parking lot next door is ALWAYS empty.

Panera bread is my new found addiction. Love it! There is nothing I have had in here that I haven’t liked. Their chicken noodle soup is low cal and yummy. The ham and swiss was pretty darn good. The summer corn soup was crazy delicious. Chicken salad with the most delicious fruit ever was well… delicious! My all time favorite is their Mediterranean veggie sandwich(and let me tell you I am NOT a vegetarian… I love me some meat and potatoes…) My plus one had the steak sandwich which he said, with a melancholy tone, «it was alright.» Alright??? Are you kidding me? Panera can do no wrong in my eyes. Let me clarify that I did not eat that all during one visit(while my hubby munched on a lone steak sandwich). Ok well almost no wrong… Losing a star for forgetting one of the key components of my ham and swiss… um the swiss. It seems that I am not the only Unilocaler they have let down. Oh well I can get over this small faux pas. If you are going during lunch on a weekday bring your patience and leave your stilettos at home. Parking is at a premium. You may have to park at the mall. Lines can be long too. Worth the wait though :)

First, let me say I love Panera. I have been to locations all over the U. S and find their food and service to be pretty consistent. My only complaint at this location? Limited parking in this BUSY shopping center. I ate @ this location on a cold day and they have a nice warm fireplace in the eating area that I sat next to. Had a their roast turkey artichoke panini. I LOVEIT… minus the sun dried tomatoes which I leave off. It’s Fresh roasted turkey — not deli slices like some of their other sandwiches — with a good helping of artichokes. Tried it with their new mac and cheese which I was less impressed with… I think my expectations were too high, mac and cheese is so simple this was more like a «kids» mac n cheese vs. what I would expect on the menu. Overall, clean — good service and well prepared food. Just like every Panera I have been to… I would eat there again.

It was a good day for this Panera Bread location. That is not always the case. There was someone actually cleaning tables! Personnel was not as crabby as usual. It was a refreshing change. Our food was good. I got the french toast bagel breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it. My husband got the jalapeño breakfast sandwich and it was good too. I do wish that they would do a better job of keeping their breakfast soufflé sandwiches available. It was only 10AM. But management is not inclined to be flexible. And that always seems to be the problem with all Panera locations. Customer service takes a back seat to the cookie cutter schedule. And from reading other Unilocaler’s reviews, this seems to be a universal issue with Panera Bread.

If you patronize Panera with any regularity, sign up for the My Panera card. Got mine last spring and you get free goodies periodically. I was bummed that while in WI and IL, the program had not rolled out yet :(I do have a smoothie or espresso waiting for my next visit, however!

I think that this must be one of the more popular Panera locations in Dayton! The boy and I were worried that there was going to be a line out the door when we first pulled up. Luckily, we were able to find a parking spot and the line wasn’t terribly long. The service and food quality was the same as usual but there were a couple things that I wanted to make sure I updated in my review. 1) Don’t buy the large size of the Macaroni and Cheese. Its delicious. Really delicious. But for the price they are charging, the large isn’t a deal. 2 smalls would be better. 2) If you live in the Dayton area(and some other select areas as well), you can sign up for My Panera, their loyalty rewards program. They give you one of those little cards and you can earn free items. We’ve got a free pastry or sweet waiting on our card for us right now whenever we decide we need a sugar break!
