The florist here is wonderful to work with, the arrangements are fantastic, and my deliveries have always been perfect with no issues — I’d definitely recommend this florist! Tip — contact the florist directly instead of ordering online for more value for your money!!!

Being a supporter of the«little guy», I thought I would give my business to A Main St. Florist instead of going to a larger florist. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well. I checked their website to make sure they sold prom corsages and found a nice selection for $ 12.95. The following day, I went to the shop and informed the man at the counter that I was in need of a corsage. He immediately wrote down«$ 30» on the sales ticket. I said, «Wow…is there a choice of flowers because this is for a special needs prom and I really wasn’t looking to spend that kind of money.» When he said that there were no options, I said that I was going to look elsewhere, left and went back to my car. I decided to pull up the website on my phone thinking I MUST have misread the site. Nope. Clear as day, «$ 12.95». I took my phone, walked back inside and said, «Your website says that you have corsages for $ 12.95.» He countered, «No it doesn’t.» I showed him my phone and he said, «Oh. FTD puts that on there and we have no control over it.» I asked him if he would match the price and he said, «No. Maybe we can do something for $ 25 but for $ 12.95 you’re talking about a boutonnière.» I then showed him that boutonnieres on the website were $ 7.95. …crickets… Gave him another chance to match it or offer to do something for me. Nothing. With that, I turned and walked out. I went around the corner to Beaverton Florists where I was warmly greeted. I explained that I was looking for a corsage that didn’t need to be a big, fancy one since it was for an autistic girl going to a special needs prom. Vicki was so nice and helpful. She offered various suggestions and we ultimately came up with a petite, mixed floral corsage for $ 15. Looks like the bigger operation will get my business. Skip A Main St. Florist and head to Beaverton Florists on Watson.
