Beaverton Glen Apartments

There are several large apartment complexes on SW Electric Street in Beaverton, but be sure to not overlook Beaverton Glen. It is smaller than the other communities on the surprisingly quiet and clean street, and is tucked away on a pretty and peaceful property. The area is surrounded by large fir trees and lots of animal life (squirrels and lots of birds, and there is a hawk who has decided this is his/​her kingdom). Stop in and talk with the manager and see what Beaverton Glen has to offer. Rents are very reasonable for some quite spacious apartments (studios, one bedroom, and two bedrooms). Customer service is tops. The manager is very professional, helpful, and friendly, and she is also fluent in Spanish. Communication is excellent with everybody. Maintenance concerns are taken care of in a timely manner. The residents altogether are a nice group, laid back, and easy to get along with. I like it very much that there are many different cultures represented here.
One thing I notice that has not been addressed in other reviews is the location of Beaverton Glen. It is near everything you need in terms of shopping and entertainment, and has a walkability score on
of 72%, which is quite remarkable for a suburban location such as this. Even better, you will save on your transportation dollar here by using the plentiful and nearby public transit options. There are a lot of Tri-​Met buses around, but even better is if you cut through the Courtyards at Cedar Hills property across the street, (which you are allowed to do), and you will find yourself on Millikan Way. Hang a left for a couple of blocks, and then hang a right for another couple of blocks, and you will end up at the MAX Millikan Way Station. It’s about five minutes to the Beaverton Transit Center where you can walk easily to a large Fred’s Shopping Center and other good shopping and restaurants, and it’s also about 15 minutes into Portland.
So, let’s review this whole package: reasonable rent, spacious apartments, nice people, excellent management, fine owner, pretty grounds, and top transportation options. OK, Beaverton Glen makes a lot of sense to me. How about you?
