My Hysband and my parent in laws had come to your place due to their being quite a line for Giovanis. The pizza was wonderfully crafted, and the staff all very attentive and very much was on top of the service! We brought home more than enough for lunch tomorrow too! Thanx for the experience!

Beaverton has been in need of a great pizza place. The owner is from the east coast so right away I knew I was going to get a good pizza, and it surely did not disappoint! We ordered the garlic chicken pizza and it was one of the best I have had. It will be a great spot in the summer as they have garage doors that open to the street. Good autmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful food. Definitely will be going back.

Great wood fired pizza! Beaverton needed a place like this. Caesar salad was very good. Nice beer selection as well. Been there twice and will visit again! Thanks!

Excellent pizza with a real wood fired oven. The hot pepper infused oil is great. Great beers on tap. Great friendly service. Nice big windows.

big o’s pizza has to be hands down the best pizza in Portland. the crust is amazing & crisped just right on the edges & bottom. the sauce is a piquant, tangy tomato sauce that is rich & flavorful. I love that they do the cubed pepperoni. and the garlic chicken pie is a divine taste sensation for your tastebuds. I like that they have bucked convention & don’t have a soda fountain. I don’t come to big o’s for the soda. I eat here at least once a week, cuz I gotta get my o’s on. the lunch special of a slice(your choice of their house pizzas) & a Caesar is the perfect amount of food & deliciousness for the price. the ambiance is chill with a great use of glass garage doors that can swing up & out of the way come summertime. the music is like I am piping in my own music mix from my iPod & is not too loud. you can peep the pizza action & watch your pie get cooked to perfection in their wood fire oven. yummmmmm. this pizza zombie must go. get. pizza. now.

Great Atmosphere– such potential– we’ve tried Big O’s twice, but not likely to return. Pizza doesn’t taste wood fired– crust too soggy. Salads boring. We want more places on the west side to enjoy and really wanted to make this place a regular spot. I encourage you to go learn from Ken’s or Apizza Scholls tips on pizza and salads. It can be better.

Definitely won’t go back! St Helens pizza noted as ‘spicy’ on their menu. Off the charts hot!!! They should clearly state on their menu how potentially hot this may bet. They said they hand mix the sauce and it varies from batch to batch. Couldn’t eat it because it was so hot. Gave it back to them. They were not sympathetic at all. They did not offer to make it right in any way which was a first for any restaurant I’ve been too. I’m voting with my dollars and taking them elsewhere.

Flavorful and thin crusted … and made in a wood fire oven. Had the St Helen’s pizza and the sauce was perfectly seasoned and spicy. Definitely coming back … and also ordering to go too. And, I love a clean restaurant … perfect!

Can you get an great artisan wood fired pizza in Beaverton — YES! Stopped in for the first time and ordered a large St. Helen pizza and a draft ipa beer. I sat in front of the oven and chatted with the owner while he made the pizza. In my opinion, food, no matter what, is always best when prepared by someone who is passionate about the food they are cooking. This pizza was amazing. I’m was definitely spicy, but just right. The crust was cooked to perfection. And the few toppings were spot on in proportion. The combination was the most flavorsome pizza I’ve had in recent memory. I’ll definitely be back!

Odd… I posted a review just after we tried this place about a month ago and it just vanished. So, I’ll try again. With as many good-to-fantastic pizza joints around here now, you really need to step up to the plate if you’re selling pizza. This stuff needs help. The crust was almost gummy as if it had not been fermented at all, it had zero crust flavor, it almost reminded me of a frozen pizza I had once. The sauce seemed like pure tomato paste with no hint of herbs I could detect. The toppings were fair but not particularly flavorful either, and the cheese was«weird»… I can’t believe it could have been fresh mozz. And what’s with all the 5 star reviews? Can employees post that many times? Because EVERYSINGLEPERSON I’ve met who has tried this place agrees with me. For a wood-fired oven, we were pretty disappointed. Ken’s, Scholls, Tastebud, those guys are in a different world compared to this one… sorry, «O», but you need to grab a copy of Reinhart’s American Pie and study it well.

After reading the reviews, I don’t think it’s fair to compare a local pizza joint to MOD or Pieology. They are less expensive for a reason: they are fast food. My experience here was great, low key, loved watching them make my pie with care and getting the warmth from the hearth. I had the Garlic Chicken, and actually enjoyed it(even though I dislike chicken and I am typically against light sauce on pizza). The dough is thicker than some places, which works for them, sometimes a thick crust is all I need! I also tried a veggie pizza with a house spicy sauce(they mean spicy!). Overall it was great, its nice that a downtown food cart would put its physical location here in Beaverton.

The young man at the counter was nice is the only reason I give it 2 stars. I wanted the veggie calzone. Oh the veggies aren’t available yet. OK may I have some other veggies? He takes my order, gives it to the pizza maker with a beard who starts grumping that the veggies aren’t available. He was told un sautéed was fine and to swap out the mushrooms for black olive. Calzone arrived with mushrooms. Not even going to try and have it made again. Surly and wrong order means I’m out and not coming back. Feel sorry for the staff.

Pizza is ok, probably the best in the area now that earth oven closed. The dough is good but pizza lacks flavor and sauce tastes like tomato paste. Pizza pricing is probably normal by oregon standards, around $ 20 for a cheese pie. It is a big pizza. And they should put the right phone # on Unilocal and other Unilocalers should stop comparing this place to Mod pizza. That is like comparing a restaurant quality burger to a big mac.

Love this place. Got started here at market and then he got his own place. I love the garlic chicken. Grab a glass of wine or bottle of beer while you wait. They’ve got salad too to make a healthy meal ;)

Very good pizza. Owner started at farmers market using his own hand built wood fired pizza oven. Now has finally opened a physical location with the same type of oven. Makes great pizza quick. Try the garlic chicken it’s not your normal garlic chicken! It does have a small amount of heat but not overbearing.

First negative: No soda fountain, they require you to buy bottled Coke out of their fridge. Please add Pepsi as well. Second Neg: $ 9 for a small 4 piece personal pizza is about 3.00 higher than Mod and many other fast fired pizza place close by. HOWEVER, the pizza is much fresher tasting here. Third Neg: Garlic Chicken Pizza tastez like turkey — weird. Crust is okay and thicker than mod pizza. Chicken pizza needs a bbq base sauce to soar! Pepperoni pizza has cubes, would suggest they shred the pepperoni or make much smaller cubes. The crust was thin and like Mod Pizza. Even though the Garlic Chicken was weird tasting, it was better than the pepperoni. My partner said the«Chicken pizza is too much not like pizza, Positives Lots of Beer on tap, but why not soda on tap? Great music in the backround, the tables and chairs are cumfy. Good place for a large group. People here are really cool. Overall — much better than Mod Pizza up the street. Mod has thin theatre cardboardish pizza.

The pizza is basically good. I would have liked and was expecting a bit more smoke flavor in a wood-fired pizza. For the price, this is a good lunch and really competes well with the growing selection of fast-casual, «Chipotle-style,» built-your-own personal pizza places(Mod, Pieology, etc.) that seem to be over-populating the market. What this place has over those is a better ambiance. Beverage selection is very limited(maybe it will improve as they get going).

Great to see spaces like this opening up in Beaverton. Our salad and pizza though, meh, could have been better! Another couple seated close to us, asked to have their vegetable pizza slices reheated, as the vegetables were still cold! Hopefully, these were only opening week bumps.
