«Eek! Methinks not.» is quite accurate. I scheduled an appointment with Dr Bindal at the recommendation of an urgent care provider who was treating me for a persistent rash. I had the rash for about 8 months and had exhausted all options available in an urgent care setting. Scheduling was pretty easy and my appointment was scheduled about a week out, which I feel is totally reasonable. She took my insurance(United HealthCare), which was also a positive. Her office staff was nice enough and I waiting in the front room for about 10 minutes before going back to the exam room. It went downhill from there. I waited in the exam room for over 30 minutes. 30 minutes PAST my appointment time. It is a pet peeve of mine to set a specific time to meet someone and have them NOT keep the appointment time. My time is just as valuable as yours, please show some respect. No one even stopped by to let me know that there would be a delay and there was minimal reading material available. When Dr Bindal finally made her way in, my visit was very brief and most unhelpful. The«cure» for my rash? «A brisk walk after dinner.» FOR A RASH?! I mean seriously. I’m not asking you to tell me how to lose weight, I’m asking for help with a skin condition. No suggestions(besides the walk), no referrals, and certainly nothing of value. I ended up going to another provider and being diagnosed with a bad case of dyshidrotic eczema, which required a steroid shot to remedy. So no, I would NOT recommend this health care provider to anyone unless they feel their problem would be solved by «a brisk walk after dinner».
