I love this place.
I first went during the 2014 Olympics to learn more about curling. I took a great, fun and cheap Learn to Curl class. I had so much fun I joined the club and signed up for a spring league. Despite the fact that I was brand new to the sport and didn’t know a soul I still felt a warm welcome from the club and league members.
I got hooked and kept with it, and still have nothing bad to say at all. Everyone is so welcoming and nice, easy going with newbies and those of us who aren’t very good, classes are often and affordable and the bar is well stocked. There is a great program for kids (juniors) as well.
If you’ve ever wondered about curling or wanted to join a sport that anyone, young or old, fit or unfit can do then stop by and see for yourself.

I was taken to the Evergreen Curling Club for a birthday present and to mark a long-​time goal from my life list. I can now say that I have been curling, and I loved it!
We went for a beginner curling class on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, we were quickly checked-​in and given the sticky shoe covers so we we could walk on the ice and then were ushered into the warming room for a short wait.
After a quick safety talk, we were given a team and taken onto the ice. Our very knowledgeable instructor, a member of the curling club, taught us the basics and quickly had us practicing pushing the stone down the ice and sweeping.
Before long, we were playing a mini-​game against another group and I was the proud skip leading our team in the action.
It might have helped my view on the sport that my shot led us to the tie-​breaker win, but I think I still would have given 5 stars to this friendly, welcoming group of curlers at a premier facility in the Pacific Northwest.

Went to a Learn to Curl class last Saturday, and learned that I am TERRIBLE at curling. Despite my lack of Curling skills I still had a blast trying to master the correct techniques for «delivering the stone» and sweeping. Our instructor Eugene, was exactly the type of guy you want teaching you how to curl, and all the other instructors were patient, helpful and friendly as well. Evergreen Curling Club has an awesome facility, and I would definitely recommend trying it out. You never know, you might be amazing at it or you might be terrible at it like me, either way, you will still have a ton of fun trying. Good Curling All!

Nothing bad to say about this very efficient facility. I only wish they would stay open year round.

I popped by today for the Open House. This place is spectacular. They finally have their own dedicated ice. They’ve thought of everything. I’ve only tried curling a few times, but I’m really looking forward to some beginner classes. If you’ve never tried curling, it’s a lot of fun!

This is Oregon’s first and only facility dedicated to the great Winter Olympic sport of curling. My girlfriend and I saw curling on TV during the Olympics and wanted to try it. So we entered one of Evergreen’s beginner clinics. The clinic cost only $ 20 ($ 10 for kids) which included all equipment and instructors too. The instructors helped us to learn how to throw and sweep. Then we played a game. It was really fun.
I would have liked more playing and less explaining. And the bar was not ready when we were there, but it is supposed to be ready soon, in January. Otherwise, this was great. Well worth the time and the money spent.
