Karen is amazing! She does great deep tissue massage! When I get up off her table, my pain is so much better and I have this incredible sense of lightness and movement in my muscles. She works out of her home so it isn’t a spa environment, but I don’t need all that, just a fantastic massage. Karen understands how to help people in pain.

Please note that this, ahem. «business» is in the bedroom of a private home. And old home that reeks of mildew. With 3 ft tall weeds in the front yard. And if you don’t mind that your massage therapist will be a chatty 61 year old that suffers from osteoarthritis to the point of requiring a cane to walk, than go on ahead. And if it’s cool with you that the therapist will perform the entire massage sitting on a noisy stool, use a tool(that left bruising on me), and move painfully slow until she finally collapses on her living room couch looking EXHAUSTED, then this place is for you. It was not for me. After my intial you’ve-got-to-be-effing-joking reaction, I felt guilty the entire time. I did not want to see this woman put herself through the physical demands of a 2-hour massage. Especially after she complained at length of her ailments and joint pain. And then, it kind of pissed me off. Massage therapy is a difficult profession that derserves some respect and this approach to practice is an insult. I have had countless massages, and I have no trouble recognizing worthless time-wasting«relaxation techniques» and other gimmicks used by therapists that do not have the stamina to perform their job. If (and it’s cousin Groupon) did a better job at vetting their deals, I would never have gone here. My mistake.
