Kids Discovery Academy

My son has been part of the Kda family for 5 years and absolutely loves it. Each year he grows into a more confident child due to the fact each teacher takes the time to get to know him and his needs, therefore providing him with the level of attention and guidance he requires. It will be a sad day when he outgrows Kda but I am beyond happy this was the center he grew up in. Many awesome memories and friends are being made.

This place is great. My toddler loves it and the teacher turnover is super low, so they really get to know your child.

We have two children (ages 3 and 6 currently) who attend Kids Discovery Academy (KDA). Both of them have loved going to KDA from day one. In addition to the kids being happy, their academic and social skills have grown measurably over the last year and a half. The communication from staff has been great and at times, exceeded our expectations. There have been stressful circumstances such as medical emergencies — when our 3 year old suffered from periodic febrile seizures — where staff responded with incredible compassion and attentiveness. The ultimate desire for me, when I can’t get to my children when they need me, is that the provider responds with the same or nearly the same care as I would. That is my expectation, and staff at KDA have met this expectation on more than one occasion.
Communication works both ways, and staff at KDA have made it a priority to share information with us regularly. On the other hand, we also communicate frequently and ask a lot of questions. I am very pleased with the open communication. L’orali is consistently responsive to my inquiries in a timely and thorough manner. Susan is always helpful and is great to work with.
We receive regular updates from the teachers on our children’s progress or areas that need improvement outside of the regularly scheduled conferences. The message is always delivered in a positive manner with helpful suggestions, or by simply asking us for further input to help provide a consistent approach between home and school. Our boys are treated as the individuals they are, and we work collectively with KDA staff to ensure they are receiving the best possible method of learning and structure, creating consistencies from home to school and school to home. Additionally, we realize our kids need to meet the expectations of the classroom and treat others respectfully, as well as interact productively with classmates and teachers.
KDA offers a warm and friendly environment as well as a structured learning curriculum. KDA is supported by individuals who genuinely care about our children. We found the right fit for our boys. There are many childcare facilities to choose from and we have very high expectations when it comes to the care of our kids. We have researched and «tested» other facilities prior to attending KDA. Where other places have failed, KDA has excelled.
All in all we have been very happy and feel lucky to have a found such a great facility for our boys to grow and learn. We have a found a positive fit for them at KDA.
