They can’t seem to deliver the paper on time. I’ve called 23 times over the past 5 months and they always say they’ll fix it but never do. I’ve talked to supervisors, distribution managers, and customer service people. I know I could just read the digital version but I PAY to have it delivered because I like the ritual of sitting at the table and reading with my wife before work. If they want to be just a digital news source, they should just quit home delivery instead of trying to get home delivery subscribers to cancel in frustration. If I could give them zero stars I would!

I think the Oregonian does a great job of mixing local journalism with national news. It’s tough to be in print these days, as you can imagine, and they have a fantastic digital presence online. I have not dealt with their advertising departments, but their public facing media is solid.

Called the Oregonian to see if I can place an ad for my home business, talked to a gal and she was ok with it. Then I got a call from her co-​worker, he talked so much would let me talk at all, he was RUDE, unprofessional, he shouldn’t be working with the public! I recommend that you don’t buy a ad here.

Shame on you, My disappointment to not see anything about the Southridge Marching Band that has worked so hard and made the finals in the NWAPA Championships. Saturday 11−1−14. They came in 2nd to an overpowering West Salem HS who has taken the 1st place spot every year. But the kicker is that the West Salem band is 2 – 3 time the size of Southridge HS. Please acknowledge these hard working students from your area for their hard work and determination. They themselves are proud because they set their own bar high. Don’t make the mistake next year by leaving these guys out of the paper !!!
