I love this place! Only reason why I took a star away is because they sometimes forget the extra shrimp paste I order with my Bun Bo Hue. Other than that, service is great, food is great, and the food arrives in a timely manner! This place is a regular with my husband and I!

I love their chicken wings. Super crispy and flavorful without being heavy on sauce.

Such a great environment, excellent staff that are very friendly. Very funny name but it seriously is phở king good

Excellent. The food was wonderful. I ordered a phở kind special. The broth was wonderful and rich. The owner was kind and checked in with us when he delivered our order. Our waitress was quite, and a but socially awkward but meant well. The restaurant was clean and we could see into the kitchen a bit — it looked well organized and clean too! I would recommend this place highly!

I like this place a lot. It’s cheaper than other places but the quality doesn’t suffer much. The phở broth isn’t as complex as some of the pricier places so I tend to have to add to it but it’s filling and still tasty. I also get appetizer rolls which are always good. Service can be hit or miss during busier times but everyone is friendly. There is an older gentleman who usually brings the dishes out and and sometimes takes orders. While he doesn’t always get the orders correct(he tries to memorize people to their food), it’s not really a big deal because I usually get phở and I’m not picky with the meat choices. If you’re looking fancy broth with a deep rich flavor that doesn’t need tweaking, this isn’t the place. Like the sushi place next door, I consider it more fast food to casual sit down quality. But it’s clean, the price is very reasonable, and the food is delicious. Can’t ask for more.

My husband and I no longer go here, and it’s because they raised prices but we noticed they also cut the amount of meat in our beef stew. I realize that market prices can fluctuate, but to actually skimp on portions and give people less, but still raise prices? Not cool. We noticed. Now we go to Tan Tan in Beaverton. The banh mi sandwiches are awesome and they aren’t stingy with meat portions in soup or anything else.

Excellent phở. Love the name. Broth was yummy and the noodles and sliced beef were just right. The staff was friendly, polite and attentive. Very pleased with this visit. Will be back next time I’m in town.

Phở-getta ’bout it! The broth had the right amount of saltiness but the flavor profile was lacking. Where were all the wonderful spices(star anise)? Also, there was way too much noodle and not enough meat. However, their service was fast and their cà phê sa đá was made with a lot of condensed milk! :)

What a punny name. Good thing the phở is actually pretty good — but not better than Phở Oregon. This place will settle your phở cravings. Fast service and fresh herbs(I had to point this out because some phở places don’t have fresh herbs — they look half dead by the time it gets to your table). My bestie who comes here more than me always gets their bo kho with french bread to dip in — I had a taste and it was good. My phở(round steak, flank and tendon) was a bit oily and made me very thirsty afterwards(more thirsty than Luc Lac’s phở). I probably will opt for another option if I’m in this place again. Overall, clean, fast and gets the job done.

I have been living in Portland for about a year now. Every time I driven by this place, I scoff and laugh at the name Phở King Good and I thought, if the name is that hilarious it can’t be that good. But… I guess I was wrong wrong wrong! Phở King Good is really good. Their phở is not overly salty and their rice plate especially the grilled items are cooked to perfection. The service was prompt and we did not have to wait long for the food at all. The flavor profile of this restaurant definitely matches my palate. I think I enjoy the Phở the best here and it is definitely is one of the best Phở that I have ever had here in Portland Area!

I came here for lunch on a Friday after it was recommended by one of my co-workers. It did not disappoint! I loved the salad rolls with peanut sauce, which had the perfect amount of spice. I got the noodles and broth and the bf got the one vegan noodle dish on the menu. We both left with runny noses, which accomplished the objective! I actually enjoyed the flavor of his broth more than mine given that it was a bit sweet. The service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back here!

This is our favorite phở outside of Portland, mainly due to the BROTH!!! It’s amazing. It’s deep and complex and spiced perfectly, not light and floral like other places may offer– which is good, too but this place’s broth tastes like it took more time to develop a darker flavor. Addicting! Definitely worth driving past the closer phở restaurants for Phở King. Unfortunately I can’t comment on other menu items because I’m clearly loyal to the beef phở.

My favorite thing about this restaurant is when calling in to-go orders and hearing the person on the other side of the line saying: «PhoKing, can I help you?» The food is also good and they seem cleaner than a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. The phở broth is not the best I’ve had but overall their dishes are consistent in quality and taste and I don’t remember disliking anyway I ordered.

It’s become almost a weekly tradition at this point: my work partner and I tend to be out and about all over the Portland area visiting clients, and inevitably there’s some kind of break between a visit and our next stop, usually between 11:30 and 12:30. Today, we were in Beaverton, and you know what that means! Phở time. Today, it was Phở King Good. I’ll spare the commentary about the name of the place because there’s nothing at all I can offer that 173 prior reviewers haven’t already said. We hit up our go-to dishes: Beef Phở along with our typical appetizer: Goi Cuon: Salad rolls. The salad rolls are always decent. We agree they’re our second-favorite here and our favorite in this immediate area. Our Phở was menu item #1, the PKG Special, a combo Beef Phở with Round, Flank, Meatballs, Fatty Tendon and Tripe, served with the expected side of mung bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeño and lime. The broth is always flavorful and the beef tender, typically delivered a medium-rare so it finishes cooking in the hot soup itself. This was maybe our fourth or fifth visit, and so we’ve been there enough times that I can speak to their consistency. The soup is a solid contender – can’t give it our gold medal award(an honor currently held by Vivi’s in Hillsboro – though that’s 12 miles away). However, in this area, Phở King Good is definitely a great place to go and is somewhat less expensive than expected, making it an excellent value for the money. Yep, we’re fans and we’ll be back!

Phở King Good was… So Phở King Good — ha ha. Sorry, I had to. Anyway, I really dug this place. I’m not the biggest fan of Phở(something about how I’m unrefined and subtlety doesn’t do it for me), so I went with the shrimp Tom Yum soup(#310). Boy was I glad we went!!! The soup was a perfect balance of hot and sour, and I couldn’t get enough of the tasty broth. The crab puffs were alright; nothing to write home about or remark on here. My girlfriend really enjoyed her beef phở, and we will be back soon! I would only improve on two things: slightly more attentive service, as it took a bit to get our check, and more jalapeños on the side. To be fair though, I’ll pretty much always want more jalapeños unless they’re self-serve.

Awful just awful! First off we have a baby 18 months who is a preemie and still eating blended foods. We got in «trouble» due to bringing a pouch of food for our baby. They said that there is no outside food or drinks. I explained to the impatient waiter that my son cannot eat anything on the menu. After a lot of conversations with other waiters and waitresses and pointing over at our table he said only this time. Ummm what? I should have walked out right then and there. The phở my husband and I ordered was bland and not even luke warm. The fried spring rolls were over fried. Also there was no mention of lettuce in the description in my phở yet there was more lettuce than anything else. Warm wilted lettuce, horrible rude service and people that cannot understand that my baby cannot eat things on this menu. I was looking for a back up phở place and this one is not phở king good at all!

I’m unimpressed with the service. I understand that they are busy but we’ve been sitting here for 20 mins and they still haven’t even given us a menu. We were tempted to just walk out. this is our second time, the first time it was good service but food was just regular. Kind of what we expected. but still I’d recommend not coming here on a busy day. They might sit you in the corner of the room and just forget about ya. 2 stars coz the first time here was alright.

Great service, food is served hot and timely. The salad rolls with peanut sauce were a hit. The phở is also very good, but I prefer my broth to be a bit spicier and had to add a little hot sauce. It was very light yet filling, and the garnishes of basil and green onion were delightful. I would also recommend pairing with their coffee or lemonade soda, it is absolutely scrumptious. Definitely coming back to try other menu items.

Rather a disappointment. I would like a reliable, consistent, inexpensive and friendly«go-to» Vietnamese restaurant. Service tonight was so bad! We arrived at 8(an hour before close), and an apathetic server nodded from where they were sitting, «sit anywhere». From that same vantage point, he asked if we wanted to order, which we did(thank god I know the menu by heart, since he never brought us menus). Our food came fast– maybe that’s why it was so bland and missing *all* garnishes. Midway through the meal, I got up and walked to the counter to ask for water. It was never refilled. We were never checked on. After waiting for the check for 15 minutes(and at 8:45 too, you’d think they’d want us out!), I got up and paid at the counter. Next time I’ll get it to go, as it would be less work. Actually, there’s not likely to be a next time.

not too shabby~~ i ordered the shrimp tomyum noodle soup and the flavors were very good. it was a bit on the salty side though. made me feel like a shrimp afterwards. :X i think the key takeaway was all of their ingredients were super duper fresh! and their phở soup broth comes out hot(temperature) which deserves extra extra brownie points!!! we ordered their pork salad roll and the wrap was still hot and fresh. their veggies were extra crunchy ! their space is surprisingly clean and for a phở place. i think this is my new phở spot in beaverton ~
