This was the closest convenience store to my house where I lived for decades. I’ve had some good times and bad times with Plaid. I used to walk 2 miles there and 2 miles back in middle school to get snacks in the summer. The private parking lot is big enough to play frisbee in at 2am at night which we sometimes used to do. This one clerk who used to not care whatsoever used to let me and my boys fill up our large juice containers filled with soda for $ 1 each. He really did not give a flying one about his job, nice! A few months ago me and my two friends stopped for my friend to grab a grape Swisher. The clerk demanded to see everyones ID in the car as well, boo! We all have beards and are well over 21. Stupid trainee, DOYOUNOTKNOWWHO I AM? I RUNTHISSTORE!

This Plaid is centered in a major suburb, and so as you might expect the only socio-economic classes unlikely to be encountered regularly are the very rich and the very poor. You will see the very very bored, the very very drunk and the very very bitchy. As a many time visitor and former employee, the customers are good, the management all right, and occasionally awesome things and people are known to happen. This is a good Plaid Pantry as far as c-marts and Plaids go.
