Expensive and not trustworthy. Lost my mail!
I decided to use the post mail box service here because it was convenient. It ended up being $ 127 for a very small box for six months to receive mail. While expensive this seemed like a simple task.
I ended up ordering a pair of socks for a Christmas present. yes it doesn’t sound like much but it ended up costing me $ 20. After about two weeks of not receiving the socks I thought maybe it was the fault of the sock company and therefore contacted them. They were very helpful and sent another pair. The tracking number indicated that this pair reached the Postal Annex and confirming it I had a pink «you have a package» slip in my post mail box. However, when I turned in the slip, they told me there was no package.
They told me they receive the mail and place it on the counter near the door and sometimes people pick up their own packages. This seems rather hazardous. They could not find my package even though the tracking number said that it was there. I called Fedex and they said the package had been delivered to that destination (the Postal Annex). No one at the Postal Annex would take responsibility for the mistake. I was given Mike (the owner’s) card and he has yet to return my call.
I have wasted both my time and money here and would warn against sending or trying to receive any important documents at this location.
I will take my business elsewhere.

Employees here are super nice!
Only downside is that purchasing boxes and shipping can be quite expensive.
Also, they copy keys here! Talk about jack of all trades.

Shipper BEWARE! There is a blond woman who works there with a generally rude and unpleasant attitude. I dropped an already stamped package there. The rude woman was there and told me to leave it on the counter. I usually get notifications from the app I use to ship and I hadn’t received anything for two days. I came by asking why my package hadn’t been sent and she asked if I had a receipt for it. This same woman was the one who told me to leave it on the counter. no word of getting a receipt. She told me to contact the post office. THEN maybe 4 hours later guess who receives a notification that my package shipped? AND my two day shipment sent on wednesday night won’t get there until Monday… the same day I go in to the postal annex the shipping notification appears two days later? Although she didn’t admit to it, the timing of it all is quite suspicious. Seems like someone didn’t like me dropping a package off that I didn’t pay them for.
Oh and btw, I sent an envelope with one key in it and printed one piece of paper, sent regular mail. cost me almost $ 10. $ 3 plus a fee to print the paper QUICKLY. Not only are they liars who will spitefully hold your package, but the service is a ripoff.

Not sure what was going on a few years ago, but I’ve been using Postal Annex for about 2 years and they’ve been nothing but great! I get my mail there and have used many of their other services. They’ve always been friendly, helpful and truly wanted to please.

I recently had to ship an item to be returned. I stopped by this store asking if I emailed them my return label if they could print it off for me. The lady said yes that wouldn’t be a problem. She failed to mention that for me to have her check her email and print off one label they would charge me $ 2.95. I understand having to pay for the envelope but $ 2.95 for «office services» to check an email and print one label seems a little excessive! I will go to fedex from now on where they don’t charge for this.

Thanks all for helping me out! Great staff that was eager to help me problem solve… mission accomplished in just minutes. I will be back.

I’ve been in here a few times out of necessity only. I don’t always have the right materials to ship things to my father or other family members, so I’ll come here to get a larger envelope, etc. Nothing about the service, prices, or anything else ever really impressed me.
I recently had to fax some documents and decided to come in here because it was fairly close and seemed like a convenient place. I had to fax only 5 pages and it cost $ 7.50. I immediately had an achy feeling from behind as if I’d just dropped the soap! I wanted to ask the cashier if he was planning on giving me a kiss, because I usually like to get kissed while I’m being screwed. But really, $ 7.50 to fax 5 pages seems a little excessive. I’ll definitely go to Kinko’s or another local business from now on if I ever need to fax things.
Other than this one big let down experience, this place is just mediocre at best.

Efficient! I was notarized and the notary was a pleasure to visit with. Price was high but that’s how these places stay in business.

I wish it were possible to give negative stars. I called this location in the morning hours to verify they offered a service that was advertised on their website. And after driving all the way there (this location was not close to me), guess what? They didn’t offer the service!!! I told them I called earlier and was told they did provide this service. The gal behind the counter was aloof at best. She mentioned they should get that taken off their web site. Gee — you think? I would not trust these people to mail my mail and would not give them the satisfaction of business. Please go somewhere else.
