Okay Safeway enough is enough. I use to come to this location pretty much everyday because it was convenient, their prices were good, and I always could find fresh great looking products. The last few times(around 4 or 5) I have gone in there things have been expired or expiring the next day. Things like milk, cheese, meat etc. But normally I could still find some good behind the expired product(which I took off the shelf and gave to an employee to remove from the sales floor) Honestly my tipping point was the other day when I got a bag of candy, took that candy home(of course not checking the date… because it’s candy!) Sadly I realized after eating one of my gummies it was rancid. I looked at the expiration date it was for may of 2015… I took that candy back and had asked for the manager, who was not in at the time, I had also pulled the other candy that was expired as well and gave them to the cashier. He was very nice and I wasn’t upset with him, I just wanted to know how that type of thing happens when there should be proper rotation and how much do they rotate? But my questions were unanswered… But hey they have an ad right now for 30% off all wine!!! Hah that lasted a few weeks. Oh the ad is still up but guess what? They have increased their price on the«original» cost of the wine so the sale price is more than you would pay if there was no sale at all. So sorry Safeway I will be doing my random shopping at either Market of Choice, Fred Meyer, or Walmart. Thanks.

Beware of this store! They often run meat specials that are completely dishonest. As an example, they will post«Buy 1, get 2 free» signs on certain cuts of beef,(cuts differ from time to time) and they will mark the price of the meat up 3 times the normal price! I even checked with Fred Meyer on the price for the exact cut and Fred Meyer was charging $ 7.99 per pound while Safeway had the price marked up to 18.99! So much for buy 1, get 2 free. What a ripoff. I was shopping in the prepackaged deli section and noticed that the pork label was outdated by 1 ½ weeks, so I brought it to the manager and she thanked me and assured me that she would pull the remaining meat off of the shelves. I returned the next day to purchase the same deli pork, only this time not outdated. I quickly noticed that they put a new label with a new date directly over the old outdated label! It was pretty easy to pull back the new label and find the outdated one underneath. On occasion, they display fresh vegetables DIRECTLY in the raw meat case right next to the raw chicken and pork. I am a certified chef and I know how dangerous this is. The meat manager told me it was not a health concern because he wiped out the meat case. He could not be more wrong. Imagine picking up a package of raw chicken and have the juice fall directly on your salad vegetables. It is not rocket science.

Awesome place to buy your grocery needs! I’m impressed every time I come to this location. Helped in many occasions by David or Lu, but today Valerie is the amazing gal that took great care of me. She put my groceries in the cart, offered to take them out, rang me out quickly so that she was ready for the next customer. She took care of me first. She gave me her time. I felt her TLC. What a difference! This is why I keep on returning to this Safeway location, over and over again. Great service is the key.

Straight up the worst Safeway around here… Just, blah. It’s older, not especially clean, and just unimpressive. I’d rather drive down to Albertson’s or Fred Meyer. And Maggie seems to hate her job…

There’s nothing particularly wonderful about this location, nor is there anything particularly horrible. I’m not a huge Safeway shopper because their prices are higher than other places in town for the same items. Lots of parking, clean, and usually organized, located in a strip mall. It’s a grocery store — what else is there to say?!

Smaller older store. Happy, helpful & available staff(which is odd for a Safeway) Some Gluten Free items available(also odd for a Safeway) Good store as long as you don’t need anything fancy /crazy-wack-funky

The people in here always seem miserable. They messed up our cake and when we complained they said we got it free when we paid full price for it, I told them that and we were given the brush off.
