Sprint Store

I came here with my boyfriend to merge our accounts. First, we waited for an hour. The store manager Shayla did stay after closing and said she could get us an iPad and all of this other junk we didn’t come in for and keep the plan the same price. My «too good to be true» detector was going off, but we agreed to the changes. I got my bill two weeks later and there was a $ 25 access fee per line that she forgot to mention. My bill went up $ 125 a month. That’s not a total. That’s my normal bill +$ 125.
It sounded like she was trying to get us the best deal when it turns out she might have been trying to meet a sales quota. It’s been a nightmare trying to get it straightened out. Skip this store totally.

they will tell you that they will be putting new towers in the Beaverton area and they NEVER will.
when you call the 1(800) number you will get people who can’t understand you and they will trxfer you at least 3 times.
The people at this location are ALWAYS trying to upsell you. I get its a sells position but not a lot of people like to be bullied into buying over priced things.
The whole «write your name down to check in» thing is a flipping JOKE. You will end up waiting 30 – 40 min while you watch employees chit chat with each other. If i wanted to waist time i would go to the DMV.
If you want a bang for your buck choose VZW better customer service and cell service in general!

I had a great experience with this store. I walked in and there were 2 workers helping 2 other people so I had to wait about 10 minutes or so. The lady that helped me was super friendly and nice in helping me upgrade to a new phone. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I will say that after I showed up, about 5 more people came in. They should really have a couple more staff on hand to take care of the customers so they wont have to wait so long. Overall, I was very happy with my visit.

Read this review before commiting to Sprint! It’s lengthy, but important to know if you want to make an informed decision.
This store and the Sprint Company as a whole should be avoided if you’re in the market for a new carrier and want decent customer service. I went into this store two months ago for a problem I was experiencing with my phone (Galaxy S3). While I was there, the young lady that was helping me told me I was no longer under contract with Sprint and that I should upgrade my phone. Through out my interaction with her, I clarified several more times about not being under contract and ultimately decided to just fix my phone instead of investing in another phone. I later decided that the cost per month for what I was getting was too high and decided to switch carriers since I was told I was no longer obligated to stay with Sprint. A week after switching to T-​Mobile, I was hit with an early termination fee from Sprint. I immediately called the main customer service number for Sprint and explained to them what their employee had told me about not being under contract. After getting nowhere with the first person, I then spoke with a supervisor. From there, he told me to go into this Sprint store and find the person who told me this (2 months ago) and have them submit documentation to Sprint about having given me the wrong information so «they could make sure this doesn’t happen again». So basically, I would have to get the girl to admit that she was in the wrong so she could get in trouble (possibly fired) in order to have the early termination fee removed. I repeated this scenario to the supervisor I spoke with and asked him very bluntly if he thought that this made sense to him as something that would work out. He then proceeded to laugh at my situation at which point I told him I would call back and speak with someone else. This is when I learned that Sprint did away with their Customer Retention program. THIS ALONE SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SPRINT! They are not interested in ensuring customer service, and for this reason along with their questionable employee practices, I am not surprised that they have been losing so many customers and are so poorly rated. I for one, will also NOT be recommending them to anyone I know. After learning about this, I spoke with several more supervisors for over 2 hours who told me to do the same thing at which point I told them that the customer service I received from them alone should get the fee waived. They told me that they would review the phone conversations I had with the other people I spoke with and within a week I would hear back from them. It has now been over two weeks and not surprisingly, I haven’t heard anything from them except the almost daily email about paying them or being sent to collections. After expressing this grievance to a close friend of mine, I have come to find out that I am not the only one to have this same experience with Sprint. She however, decided to just pay it and stay relatively quiet about her experience. This leads me to question all of their business practices and wonder if this is some kind of sales strategy that they use to get more money out of people. As a student, I do not have the money to throw at such a greedy and unhelpful business. I hope this review helps others avoid making the poor decision to support Sprint and indirectly, the policies they have in place. (Also, Unilocal forces a rating of at least one star, but I in no way think that they deserve even that).

Ugh!!! These sprint guys taking «names» for their list to take everyone in order who comes in. Ha! We waited more then a hour and half, because even though I gave them my name, other people who walked in didn’t know they were supposed to give them their names, because the genius sprint fellas didn’t decide to tell them, and «forgot» they were taking names… and so on. No communication, no tact, no accountability.
Just little boys running the the whole store.
Now I dont mind waiting… but what I do mind is waiting and people coming in after me getting helped. Then when I say something about it, they act like I’m the crazy one for not being patient. Making excuses for themselves.
Seriously Sprint, do yourself a favor and hire some grown men and women who know what the hell their doing, not chasing out the customers and treating them like sh$t.
I pay 250.00 a month on my sprint bill, at least you can do is show us some respect. Go to Washington Square Sprint. Now that store is spot on great.

Nothing too special. The employees are just there, not really wanting to do anything special. I was trying to switch my line over to my own account from my parents account in another state, and they were unable to assist. However the employees at the sprint store in Arizona were able to do it? Obviously the staff at the Oregon store didn’t want to put forth extra effort.

So I wanted to upgrade my phone. I initially ordered over the Sprint website, but then I called to canel my order that same day. The person I spoke with on the phone assured me that my order was cancelled, and I would receive an email confirmation stating this.
Next morning I check my email, and I see the phone had shipped. I called/​emailed Sprint. Thier «explanation» was that the system the phone reps see and the warehouse are completely separate, so even though it shows she cancelled my order, the warehouse didn’t «get the memo». Needless to say I wasn’t happy about this… but Sprint told me that I can just refuse the shipment, or take the unopened phone to a Sprint store and exchange it for a phone I want.
I take the phone to a sprint store, and they have the nerve to charge me a $ 35 restocking fee. I went ballistic in the store. I demanded that they call Sprint and straighten this out since the phone never should’ve shipped anyway. The manager told me «We can’t call them, but you can. As a retail store we HAVE to charge the restocking fee.» I told him that I am not going to pay him $ 35 for him to just walk into the stockroom and put it on a shelf. And this is the first time I have ever heard someone at a Sprint store say that they can’t call Sprint themselves.
I had to call Sprint myself while I stood in the store fuming. The phone rep at Sprint said it was stupid for them to charge me $ 35, so they credited my account for the amount so I could get my new phone. The person on the phone thought that perhaps they charge that fee since they can’t resell the phone once it has been used. I said out loud (so the dumb ass manager could hear me) that they will sell the phone again because the box hasn’t even been open, and the phone was never activated. Finally I give them $ 35 and get the phone I really want.
Then on the receipt it reads: You may have to pay a $ 35 restocking fee for any return/​exchange of an ACTIVATED phone. So it’s just like I thought, they didn’t HAVE to charge the $ 35 since my phone was never activated.
So be forewarned people. Don’t do any business with a Sprint store in person.
