Great service. I highly recommend the boxes that they have for purchase (especially the ones for glassware and plates). I love that if you buy too many boxes, they will buy back the unused ones with a receipt. My dad had some issues with his truck light wires hooking into the trailer and the staff worked with him to fix it on the spot on the lot so that he didn’t have to
change and rent a whole truck!

Had great service today. I love that they only do a $ 75 deposit for a truck. And they cut us a small break on gas. Only place I use.

When I reserve a 20 ft truck and show up and get a 26 ft truck that’s complete bs. I reserved the 20ft truck because that’s what fits in my parking area. I didn’t reserve the 24ft truck (which is the same price) so obviously I wanted a 20ft truck. Then they tell me that’s all they have. I call corporate and they tell me unless the facility called me and told me I was specifically getting a 20 ft there is nothing they can do. Despite the fact that I have an email from them confirming my 20 ft truck. So now I have the distinct honor of shuttling stuff to the truck with my car and brute strength. UHAUL sucks!!!
They tried to tell me that it is a free upgrade. It’s incompetence on their part and an inconvenience for me. What the hell is the point of a reservation anyways…

If ever you need a propane tank filled then U-​Haul Moving & Storage of Beaverton is the place to go. This delightful U-​Haul dealer is located on TV Highway right along Beaverton’s «Auto Row.»
In the past I have not had good luck having my tanks filled at gas stations. Some attendants act like it’s such a burden to hike out to the propane tank. Not so at U-​Haul Moving & Storage of Beaverton! This dealer treats propane as an important part of their business.
U-​Haul Moving & Storage of Beaverton’s system works like this: the propane tank is located in a corner near TV Highway. You pull up to the tank and press a button for service. An attendant then comes out and very courteously fills your propane tank. U-​Haul Moving & Storage of Beaverton even lets you pay at the pump.
My propane tank was filled by the owner Jeffrey. A delightful man. Jeffrey gave me $ 1 off for giving my e-​mail address.
No longer will I have to wait around for a gas attendant to break free to fill my propane tank. No longer will I have to be told that the gas station is «out of gas.» From now on I’ll be going to U-​Haul Moving & Storage of Beaverton where they act like they want my business.

I never had a staff bend over backward for me they way this team did, and all i needed was my propane tank filled.

Avoid this location at all costs! Owner/​General Manager was very rude and condescending. You can tell he hates his job because he just mumbles through his spiel expecting you to listen to every word he says when zips right through it. When I wanted clarification on something he said, he just looks at me like I’m an idiot. At that point, I was done being offended and just nodded my head so I could get out of there.
I leave feedback through the website saying how unprofessional his service was so he calls me on Monday to make things right. He tried to apologize but when it’s all said and done, he could not do anything to bring back my business to his joke of an establishment. It’s not ok to treat customers anyway you want but then come groveling to them when they complain about your poor lack of customer service. I’m sure he does this to anyone and everyone he can get away with and then comes and tries to be the nice guy when people start giving him bad reviews.

Brock was incredibly impressive. Phenomenal service and quick in and out when renting a moving truck. Thanks for making the chore of moving a bit more smooth.

Great price and Customer Service! Thanks for helping us! We rented three trucks for all 3 UPS Stores and they saved the day! We had extra boxes stored in the trucks which helped keep stores organized and packages going out on time.

I asked on the phone for info about their U-​Boxes, modular storage units. I went down to this location and they wrote down for me the dimensions and the price per month on a Friday. When I calculated how many I needed, and returned on Monday to reserve them, they gave me another price: $ 15 higher! When I protested, they said they’d had a recent price increase. Since Friday? Yes, since Friday. Why didn’t the guy on Friday advise me to lock in that price, instead of just writing it down on a card? Suspecting a «bait and switch» approach to beating out the competition, I decided to go elsewhere.

Horrible service. Robert is an arrogant, rude person. Uneducated jerk. Go elsewhere!!!

I waited until the last minute to try to get a 26 foot truck and no one had one. I called all of the uhaul locations in my area and could only get a 17 foot. I made the reservation for the 17 foot truck to make sure I had something. I finally decided to try budget and they did give me a reservation for the 26 foot truck I needed so I canceled my reservation with uhaul. Later that night I got an email from uhaul telling me they had the reservation for the needed 26 foot truck next day. Budget had my CC# so I went to get my truck from them… They didn’t one for me when I got there.
So I went to uhaul, they had a truck waiting for me and saved my move!
To add icing to it I got another email the next day from another uhaul associate asking if I still needed a truck and that he could give me one.
This is one company who still understands customer service!

Our experience was a five. We were met in the lot. Trailer removed quickly and efficiently. Staff was friendly. Had no problems returning a one — way trailer.

I have rented here several times and I always have a solid experience. They are very professional and efficient.
Last night, I needed a truck last minute to buy something on craigslist and they made it so easy for me. Especially since I gave them only 5 minutes notice, 30 minutes before they were closing.
In. Out. Returned Overnight. Easy.

My recent experience here was NOT very positive. I’ve visited their Facility before, and with similar results.
Some of their staff are extremely helpful. The «upper echelon,» with whom the already limited HELPFUL staff must often deal-​with, are often less-​than-​competent, and rarely share the customer service values of the aforementioned, helpful staff. I leave this slightly vague, simply due to my desire to keep this short, and also because my negative customer experiences seem to have applied to most of my dealings with U-​Haul, specifically the Beaverton Facility.
To keep a long story short, what the helpful staff attempts to accomplish with their customers, is often overruled by their own, «upper echelon» bosses. More often than not, expect to leave there less-​than-​satisfied. Their own front-​end staff usually acknowledges this publically, anyway. So it is fairly common knowledge.
Their competitors, like the outfits that begin with an «R,» are indeed more expensive. But I have now learned that is for a reason. You indeed get what you pay for.
Also, I have a pending insurance claim with U-​Haul, that is approaching a year. The «red tape» with this Organization is bad enough. The frustrations with the Beaverton facility is in need of serious improvement. This is my second incident here. So I finally decided to say something about it.
Please spare yourself the headaches (and aspirin, ibuprofen, etc,) with the Beaverton Facility. If you insist on using U-​Haul, I would suggest perhaps Hillsboro, or elsewhere.

I was surprised how much I ended up liking U-​Haul that I had to write a review.
This was my third move since moving to Oregon five years ago but it was my first time using U-​Haul. Their online reservation is very easy to use & even though reservations are guaranteed you will be compensated $ 50 should you not receive the equipment size, location, and pick up time you agreed to.
Prices vary whether you’re renting during the week or weekend. Of course it’s higher during the weekend & you have a less chance of reserving the truck size & pick up time you want. As soon as you know when & where then make an online reservation. I wouldn’t call to schedule because their scheduler doesn’t quite link with the online system. I made a reservation online (confirmation # given) even though their scheduler showed no availability. A 24′ truck was available when I arrived.
I wouldn’t pay additional for insurance especially if you’re just moving within the same city. They don’t push it on you too much nor do they try to force you to buy moving supplies. Any of their supplies you do decide to use they’ll just add to your bill after returning the truck.
Don’t fill the tank until the nozzle stops. The trucks can fill an additional five to six gallons after the full line so if you do you”ll basically be paying gas for the next customer. We drove a total of 51 miles courtesy of the previous customer. When it was time to return the truck the needle had just dropped to the full line & we didn’t have to pay for gas during the entire rental.
We reserved the truck for 24 hours but we ended it up being 15 min past the drop off time. They didn’t charge an additional day since it was within 30 min. Overall the cost to rent & miles driven was $ 87. Not too bad to move two, two bedroom apts into one house.
The service was great. They explained everything in detail & answered our questions. The truck didn’t break down & if it did we were provided a service number to call for help. When I need to move again, which shouldn’t happen for at least 30 years, then U-​Haul will be my go-​to moving truck company.

These guys were really helpful when it came to returning a truck that was driven from New England to Oregon. This is also my «go to» place when it comes to refilling my propane tank for the gas grille. I’m not sure how their prices compare to other places. Ask for a U-​Haul sticker for the tank and they’ll knock off $ 1 for subsequent refills.

I reserved a truck with Uhaul for the 2^nd time this year at this location, and it reminded me of how convenient and painless my first experience was.
I did the same thing as last time — all online at
. Enter your zip, pick out a truck, location and date. Then you consider your options. By default, they’ll have several options «pre-​selected» for you, which you NEED to be wary of, and is the reason for the deduction of a star. Here’s what’s checked for you BY DEFAULT:

2 Utility Dollys @ $ 7.00 each — $ 14.00
1 Furniture Dolly @ $ 7.00 each — $ 7.00
5 dozen (what the…) furniture pads @ $ 10.00 per dozen — $ 50.00 (!)
So… be aware that if you’re just clicking away willy-​nilly that you’ll be a whopping $ 85 in the hole. Do what I do, start un-​clicking radio button options with a quickness and leave 1 dozen furniture pads checked.
So far the tone of this review isn’t as positive as a 4 star review of mine would normally warrant. BUT, here’s the truth: my online order last time was extremely smooth. I got there bright and early in the morning and was checked out quickly and efficiently.
I may have a little bit of euphoria since we’re moving out of an apartment and into our «dream home». So, YMMV.

This is not the best of the U-​Haul locations. I had a hitch done there and had mixed success. U-​Haul is taking care of the issues at another location.
