Prices a little high but well worth it, real Italian food, the homemade Italian dressing is great, the service was excellent and fast. The cannolis are some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will go back.

Best Italian that I’ve found in Cincinnati in this price range. Homemade salad dressings are delish. Reliable, though not extensive — wine list. Loved the eggplant, stuffed shells, chicken parm, greek salad. Some of the entrée portions are HUGE, so be sure to ask. I’ve not been here on a Saturday evening, but every other time — whether lunch or dinner, the service has been good and the food excellent. The ambiance is average and the décor is not super modern but — the food makes up for it.

This place is first rate. I’ve eaten here a half-dozen times, lunch and dinner, and never been disappointed. Don’t let the unassuming appearance fool you, the food is great. Not fancy, mind – but the kind of thing you could eat once a week for supper. Not a huge menu, but what they do, they do well. Very kid friendly, though there aren’t a lot of kids. Beats the heck out of Bravo – there’s real veal to be had. Love the homemade Italian salad dressing. It’s delicious, as are the desserts. Service has always been friendly and competent, prices reasonable. Highly recommended.

Very good red sauce Italian. Superb service. Prices might be a little high for what is on offer. Pinot Grigio is $ 10 per glass? In this neighborhood? $ 5 split plate charge is certainly fair, since the portions are outrageously large for entrees, but it should be listed on the menu. Portion for the mussels is slightly smaller than average for the price($ 10.99). I love, love, love their garlic knots, and I would order them for take out by the dozen! So delicious and fluffy! But OK, I’m a little bit miffed that we got dinged for a split-plate charge after we ordered $ 20/pitcher sangria, plus app and an entrée. I know what it’s like to watch food cost, but a split plate charge should be noted on the menu. TL;DR: Good place; split plate charge, should have ordered my mussels as an entrée and saved some money, plus I could have enjoyed a much less rushed meal if it were paced differently. I would probably suggest going later in the evening, as we arrived during happy hour and were not informed of nor received any«specials.» Dine there if you want that sort of thing.

Did not get what I thought I was getting. I am used to going to Germano’s(which has closed since Dominic retired) and Vincenzo’s(on Chester Rd). I ordered the Chicken Piccata and asked the waitress if it came on fettuccine and she said yes. I expected that it would be on fettuccine alfredo just like it was served at Germano’s and is served at Vincenzo’s. She said it would be on fettuccine, when I got my meal, it was on what looked like spaghetti and just had a lemon sauce on it. Needless to say I did not eat it. I know I should have said something, but we were a table of six and I am not one to complain. I brought it home and there it sits in the refrigerator. I just called and talked to one of the manager’s who was less than concerned. She said I could come in and she would give me 25% off. No thank you. Also, a very small salad and one small piece of bread. Serve your bread in a basket and put butter on the table. When my meal was $ 17.99(which is ridiculous), come on, they are in a strip mall.

Mediocre — I would agree. We overwhelmed the place with 16 people. Food is good, service was very poor, and the ambiance is a little poor for the price of the meals

This place is one of West Chester’s best kept secrets. Every time I go with my family we are never disappointed. Their food is delicious and always fresh. They make an INCREDIBLE Italian salad dressing in house. We went last evening and got the Trio– chicken parm, lasagna, and a stuffed shell– and it was delicious. It’s small but it’s cozy. I love to see local, independent businesses in West Chester and hope the community will step up to support and patronize this small business.

My family and I were really excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately they were extremity understaffed and we couldn’t get service. When we arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night we were instructed to seat ourselves. We waited about 10 minutes without a sever ever approaching our table. Another family walked in and seated themselves. A waitress brought them menus and began taking a drink order. At that point we decided to get up and leave. It looked like there were only 3 servers working the entire restaurant. No hostess or bartender. Ridiculous. Never again will we visit this establishment.

If you want authentic and just really darn good homemade Italian food with TOP quality ingredients — this is the best. Everything is good here. I’ve traveled and worked all over the world; including Italy; and this is the best all around Italian Restaurant. Most recently ate here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving…, very special evening with friends and family. The staff here is professional, but keep it light(like Italy).

We stumbled upon this place by happy accident at the end of a strip center behind Skyline Chili. The atmosphere is quaint — not overdone. Their beverage selection includes Peroni, which is always a bonus. I ordered the Eggplant Parm, and honestly, it was by far the best I’ve ever had — the eggplant was cooked perfectly and coated with a breeding so flavorful it was like a party in my mouth. A side of pasta as well as salad and bread are included. This dish was well worth the price. Five stars for the Eggplant Parm.

All homemade old school Italian food at its best. The sauce, meatballs and garlic knots are fantastic. We had them cater a dinner party for 30 people at our home and it was fantastic, enough food for 50! Cheers to Chef Luigi and his staff!

Mediocre. The points they win for the food being ok are lost in ambiance and service. The waitress we had was nice, but incredibly inattentive, and the food came out before the salads. She literally put the food down and said, «Normally I have enough time to get your salads out first, oops.» Also, the sangria tasted like slightly alcoholic watered down koolaid, and it was loud. The place was only half full, but they have live music in a small room that doesn’t really need it.

This little gem is tucked away in a strip mall behind Skyline chili. And it is a gem! Our office group often pop in for lunch and everything we have tried is delicious. Large portions and fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken and grilled shrimp salads are excellent as is the antipasti salad. Spaghetti with marinara sauce and meat ball is great. The Italian sandwich is fabulous. Huge calzones. A couple office mates love the lasagna. Friendly servers too!

Satellite location, original is in Dayton. This building has hosted many restaurants, lastly a quasi Cajun joint. This place hopefully will stick, because it’s great. Everything is made in house, rolls, sauces, meatballs, sausage and sangria. We had the meatball and sausage app. Sauce is good, a hair on the sweet side. Sausage was melt in your mouth. Meatballs, soft, flavorful, delicious. House dressing was good, s little on the tart side, I prefer less vinegar. Clams with linguine and white sauce, really good. Needed salt and lemon to cut the avalanche of butter. Did I mention it was good? Fresh clams. Yum. Boss ordered veal as usual. You can get most traditional preparations here with either veal or chicken. Then they have the red sauce with pasta, sausage, meatballs etc. We will certainly be back.

The food never disappoints here! The majority of meals come with a homemade garlic knot, and a great side salad. The service was great and the food is always delicious.

We stopped in today for a meal in the late afternoon. Attentive service and a delicious meal! I had their special dish of the day — lasagna with a stuffed shell and manicotti. There was lots of delicious ricotta in the shell and manicotti. My dining partner had the spinach lasagna. The red sauce on both dishes was flavorful. Even though they were lunch portions, both of us ended up taking some home. If the dinner sizes are any bigger, I would assume I would get 2 hearty meals out of it! As one recent reviewer said, it was a tad warm in the restaurant, but since I’m normally FREEZING cold in most places, it was kind of nice for me. I also love the fact that this is a local place and not a super-chain. I would definitely recommend it!

I’ve been here 4 times, and it just keeps getting better. We loved it the first time, but time is the true test. The place is very kid friendly, and you can show up dressed either a little casually or dressy. You won’t be out of place either way. We’ve gone on Friday and Saturday nights, and there’s been nice live music reach time. The pizza is wonderful, and it’s even good leftover. We’ve had the Chicken Parm, Chicken Francese, manicotti, chicken Solerno, bruschetta, tiramisu and more. All are winners. If you haven’t been there yet, go! Give them a chance. Support a non-chain restaurant, and be thankful for truly good Italian food.

My boyfriend and I just wanted Italian and this place was close so we stopped in. We were caught off guard by the WONDERFUL service and knowledge of staff. Wonderful recommendations of menu items and made sure we were taken care of. Atmosphere was average but nice for a dinner for the two of us. Will be back for great food and great service :)

Rejoice, Italian food lovers, and shout for joy, you who disdain the chain. At long last, we have a family-owned and high quality Cucina Italiana right here in Beckett Ridge/West Chester. Casual and comfortable, serving a variety of Italian cuisine… Veal or chicken in every preparation you can name; piccata, Marsala, francese, parmigiana, and much more. Eggplant rollatini. Meatballs, salsicce, shrimp scampi. Calzones! A welcoming atmosphere, low key but appropriate décor, polite and attentive service, affordable prices. Get this — the chef came out towards the end of our meal to introduce himself, make sure we were pleased, and let us know that if we want something special to just ask. We started with the mussels appetizer, just enough for two, and bathed in a buttery, lemony, garlicky broth that was nice and thick with nice big chunks of garlic. Came with two beautiful genuine fresh baked garlic knots, shimmering with their olive oil brushing and dusted with parsley and Parmesan. Seemed like everything that came to the table was dusted with Parmesan, which is just fine by me. Salads were your basic greens, sweet onion, cuke, tomato, obviously freshly prepared, and arrived accompanied by two more garlic knots. Then the meals… Veal Francese for me, Veal Piccata for he. Can you say«abbondanza»? Two big pieces of pounded veal atop a queen-size bed of linguine al olio, in their respective sauces/coatings. WOW. I took a picture. Some roasted asparagus added color to the plate and was a nice tasty surprise. And yet MORE garlic knots! I ended up taking three home. No dessert tonight, but we’ve already scheduled the next visit. Everything was delicious. For now, on the alcohol front it’s beer and wine only(get an Italian one), and they serve Coke products! I also love that they are open straight through their hours, no closing down and re-opening for dinner. Dinner service by the way is available starting at 3:00PM. Highly recommended by yours truly.

We like to try new restaurants in our area so we decided to try Palermo’s for lunch. If you like authentic Italian food, you will love this place. I wish I had taken a picture of the meat calzone before I devoured it. It was the biggest and best calzone I’ve ever had. Everything was really fresh. From the salad, to all of the ingredients in the calzone and the spinach roll. I can’t wait to try the Baked Ziti.
